Late at night.
“Mm… not there… don’t press.”
In the small room, the man on the sofa murmured a soft protest.
Another man’s fingers suddenly paused and then shifted to touch a different spot, trying to speak in a gentle tone, “How about here?”
The man being asked lowered his head in a daze and glanced down, his fair face still showing some reluctance, “Ah… this isn’t…”
The nearby man’s expression soured, his handsome face tinged with a hint of thinly-veiled anger, “Which button should I press first?”
Ye Mu was still drunk, subconsciously pursing his lips, his delicate long brows furrowed, “Yes… which button should it be?”
Chen Mo’s handsome face showed a sharp and angry look as he lightly slapped Ye Mu’s face, “Hurry up and say it.”
Ye Mu, groggy and only hearing a ringing in his ears, turned over to face away from the source of the noise.
Chen Mo was infuriated, glaring at him like a blade, then forcibly turned him back, prying his eyes open, “Stupid gay, stop sleeping. Open your eyes and see, is it this button first?”
Ye Mu, now irritated, kicked his leg forward.
Chen Mo was caught off guard, toppled over, and ended up sitting on the floor. Unable to contain his irritation, he grabbed a pillow and hit Ye Mu over the head with it.
Ye Mu, feeling uncomfortable from the hit, stopped resisting, his eyelashes trembling slightly as he curled up into a ball.
Chen Mo looked at him with a blank expression, his voice growing cold as he called out his full name, “Ye Mu.”
The tone was terrifying, carrying a bone-chilling coldness.
Ye Mu felt a shiver run down his spine, and under the oppressive atmosphere, he softly responded, “Mm.”
Seeing him react, Chen Mo raised his hand and slapped him hard.
Ye Mu’s long, dark lashes fluttered slightly, and after a while, he slowly opened his eyes, still looking a bit confused.
Chen Mo squinted at him, the curve of his lips radiating malice as he coldly asked, “What’s the phone’s password?”
Ye Mu, still unclear, reflexively slapped him back as he remembered being hit earlier.
A crisp “slap” echoed in the room.
Dead silence followed.
Chen Mo’s clenched fist bulged with veins, and unable to hold back his anger, he twisted Ye Mu’s arm.
Ye Mu yelped in pain, howling in discomfort.
Chen Mo’s teeth ground together audibly, “The password.”
Though Ye Mu kept his eyes closed, he could still feel an infernal aura emanating from the other man. Hearing what he wanted, he instinctively muttered, “5376.”
Chen Mo calmed himself, released Ye Mu, and entered the password. Once inside, he opened Ye Mu’s email.
Using the information he had seen earlier in the bathroom, he searched through emails from that time, recovered previously deleted data, and forwarded it all to his own inbox.
With these pieces of evidence, determining who would end up in jail would be an open question.
Chen Mo squinted his eyes as he focused on the phone screen, but suddenly everything went dark as someone from behind started messing with his face.
Ye Mu, still drunk, kept feeling around, mumbling incessantly, “What is this thing, hmm?”
Chen Mo shot him a vicious side-eye and coldly said, “What do you think?”
Ye Mu, eyes closed, continued groping for a while longer. Unable to figure out what it was, he stuck his fingers into several of the openings, probing around.
Chen Mo, reaching his limit, turned his head and swung a punch at Ye Mu.
Perhaps because the punch carried too much fury, Ye Mu instinctively dodged.
Chen Mo gritted his teeth, swung again, but missed once more.
Though intoxicated, Ye Mu’s body instinctively knew the other was trying to hurt him, so he quickly retaliated with a punch of his own.
Chen Mo hadn’t expected it and was hit squarely in the eye, leaving his eye socket flushed red.
Ye Mu, seemingly not satisfied, seized the moment and bit down hard on Chen Mo’s arm.
Chen Mo frowned deeply as his anger flared uncontrollably, like a flood of raging beasts. He flipped over and pinned Ye Mu underneath him.
Just as he was about to strike back, a shadow suddenly appeared from the side, knocking him off balance.
“Bang!”
A loud crash echoed.
The pitch-black night suddenly went silent.
