Everyone Is Non-Human Except Me [Rebirth] Chapter 77

The Truth is True

The dazzling light swallowed everything. In the vast emptiness, Wei Huan heard the sound of shattering, like cracking glaciers. The sound became clearer and clearer, one after another, finally erupting into a complete collapse.

The blue demon light pierced his vision. Nine Phoenix’s fierce demon wind burst from the crack in the blue barrier, piercing through Wei Huan’s body. In that instant, he faintly felt the demon soul hidden under his body awaken, a blue demon heart igniting.

At last, the barrier covering the entire Nine Phoenix ancestral home shattered under the unstoppable power of the golden crow demon force, dissipating into a massive blue energy flow rushing outward.

Wei Huan felt unstable and turned to see Yun Yongzhao fully demonized. The eye on the side close to him was bloodshot red, almost completely red, with blood dripping from the corner of his mouth. The pure white wings lost balance in the rushing wind and kept retreating.

Wei Huan’s heart burned with anxiety, “Yun Yongzhao, how are you? Are you okay?”

Yun Yongzhao’s brow was tightly furrowed. The backlash of the Nine Phoenix barrier crushed his body. Beyond pain, he barely sensed the outside world. The intense demon power catalyzed the soul-splitting needle in his chest; his demon heart was being torn apart.

His fingers loosened, and Wei Huan immediately felt it, “Yun Yongzhao, don’t…”

He watched Yun Yongzhao close his eyes in pain and finally let go of his hand. Both fell together from the sky.

In panic, the golden ring on Wei Huan’s wrist flashed gold light and flew toward the falling Yun Yongzhao. The light sprang up like a bizarre, gigantic tree, catching Yun Yongzhao safely.

“Ah Huan!”

Falling endlessly, he heard Su Buyu’s hysterical shout and saw that clear torrent rushing toward him, but it was already almost too late. He felt his body only a breath away from the ground.

In his daze, he almost seemed to hear his father’s voice amid this all-consuming Nine Phoenix spiritual wind.

[Don’t be afraid, little Huan, feel the wind.]

[The wind is not scattered. As long as your will is strong enough, you can gather it and command it.]

He had once been taken by him to the city outskirts of Kunlun Void, held tight as they flew away from this sky city, and had even been let go to fall like this.

[Nine Phoenix is never just bloodline, not merely a clan, and certainly not just the family emblem on your body. It is yourself.]

His body continued to sink, sinking further—Wei Huan closed his eyes.

His shoulder blades burned hot.

[You are Nine Phoenix.]

[You can be freer than the wind.]

When Yang Sheng arrived with Jing Yun and the others, they saw with their own eyes Wei Huan falling from the sky. Nine Tails tried to control him with foxfire, but it was too late.

No one expected the next moment — the scene beyond imagination.

Just as Wei Huan was about to completely fall, a pair of wings sprouted. Along the ground, they stretched forward; pure black feathers grew thick like scales covering the entire wing, and he soared toward the sky, tracing a blue arc.

His back faced everyone as he flew toward the shattered Nine Phoenix barrier. The overflowing blue demon aura spread like wildfire or a roaring sea. Wei Huan stopped within this grand demon aura, turned around, and the sound of his wings heralded rebirth.

Three blue demon marks appeared on his cheek.

“Wei Huan…” Yang Sheng was deeply shaken inside.

Yang Ling couldn’t believe what she saw. “How could it be? He is… Brother Huan Huan?”

Qing He, who had come with them driving an off-road vehicle borrowed from the research department, slammed the brakes when seeing Wei Huan through the windshield. After a moment of shock, he stuck half his body out the window, looking at Wei Huan high in the sky.

Wei Huan himself had not expected that demon wings could grow on this cloned human body, but now he had no time to think. Instantly, he flew toward Yun Yongzhou.

He might already know who he truly was; perhaps he could not accept it, but none of that mattered anymore.

Yang Sheng also saw Yun Yongzhou atop the glowing tree and dashed over. “What happened? Did he open this barrier?”

Wei Huan nodded with difficulty.

“His self-healing should be stronger than before,” Yang Sheng felt something was wrong. Previously, Yun Yongzhou could break through the Bifang barrier while only half-demonized. Now Yun Yongzhou had released his full demon form; how could he not withstand the backlash of the Nine Phoenix barrier? Or does he have other injuries?

Fortunately, Yun Yongzhou’s bodily functions are among the strongest in the demon realm. Even alone, during the rupture of his soul needle, he could endure the enormous backlash of the Nine Phoenix barrier; an ordinary demon would have died long ago from internal organ rupture.

Yet in just this short time, he woke from unconsciousness, furrowed his brows, and opened his eyes.

Wei Huan finally exhaled with relief but clearly noticed that his left eye was bloodshot, the congestion obscuring the pupil’s clarity, while the right eye remained golden, the Sun-like Xihe pupil.

“Your eye is injured,” Yang Sheng said, taking out accelerated healing medicine and handing it to Yun Yongzhou. “Take these. You mustn’t move recklessly now.”

Yun Yongzhou tilted his head back and swallowed the medicine, clutching his chest as he stood. “I’ll be fine soon.”

Wei Huan looked at him anxiously. At this moment, the mask on his face seemed to be faltering. He thought Yun Yongzhou might at least be stunned or show some other emotion upon seeing him, but Yun Yongzhou’s pale face looked toward him with a smile.

“Don’t worry.”

He only said these two words.

Yet Wei Huan felt as if he had finally been rescued from drowning. He clearly understood there was no time or chance to explain or argue for himself now. Just as he fretted over this, Yun Yongzhou seemed to signal:

He did not need an explanation.

Behind them, explosions sounded. The demon winds of the barrier were about to dissipate. They saw strange demon light and continuous sounds of destruction inside.

Yang Sheng patted Yun Yongzhou’s shoulder and connected the communicator behind his ear.

“Group 11, set up protective barriers around the house perimeter to block the Beiji Tiangui residents from approaching. Contact the combat group including Fuyao’s students to come and station overhead.”

Then he said to Group 7 behind him, “Follow the captain’s orders.”

Wei Huan was stunned for a second, eyes glancing at Yan Shanyue, Yang Ling, and Jing Yun.

A light sword appeared in his hand, and his massive black wings carried him as he turned, facing the place where he was born and raised.

“Group 7, follow me.”

It had been a long time since Wei Huan had felt this sense of fighting shoulder to shoulder with others. Even he could hardly believe he could still lead others into battle.

The recent impact had weakened much of the mechanical exoskeleton’s buffering, but crucially some shields emerged to slow Wei Huan’s fall, which surprised him.

Just as Wei Huan flew toward the chaotic outbreak site, the exoskeleton system emitted a voice—not the synthetic voice from before, but Qing He’s voice.

“Can you hear me?”

Wei Huan looked back, seeing a military green off-road vehicle behind. The person inside was clearly Qing He. He shouted, “What are you doing here? It’s dangerous!”

“Obviously! Do I need you to say that? These demon puppets are also our targets; I had to come see.”

The vehicle’s bumps made Qing He’s voice waver. “I rewrote the program for this exoskeleton system. Everyone in Group 7 and I, as an external staff, have it installed.”

Qing He explained while driving, “The new exoskeleton improves defense. When necessary, it can shed and transform into another form. We also added live video recording so we can see each other’s battle status, and a communication channel so if your communicators fail, there’s a backup. I’m using this exoskeleton comms channel to talk to you now.”

Wei Huan glanced over and indeed saw that they all wore the same exoskeleton. He said in a low voice, “Alright, since you can hear me, when I tell you to leave, you must leave.”

Suddenly, Qing He on the other end went silent.

“Did you hear me?!” Wei Huan, flying forward, grew anxious. “I’m not joking! You—”

“Hey, haven’t we met before?” Qing He’s voice was muffled by the explosions but unusually clear, piercing straight into Wei Huan’s heart.

“Yes.” He hovered midair, looking down at the vehicle. “I’m glad to see you again.”

“Tch.” Qing He tore off the eyepatch on his head and threw it aside, revealing the eye branded with a demon mark. He floored the accelerator and crashed into a demon puppet lunging at him. “Enough with the sweet talk.”

The demon puppets were more numerous than they expected. Most had pale human-like faces but bodies that seemed cobbled together—some with demon arms, some with lower halves or wings, all grotesquely fused.

“This used to be Uncle Wei’s home…” Yang Ling watched in pain as the demon puppets, under orders, wantonly destroyed every blade of grass and tree.

“Yang Ling, don’t hold back.” Wei Huan flew past her. “Kill them.” Watching Wei Huan fly off, Yang Ling clenched her fists; at the moment she spread her arms, countless lotus fires appeared in the sky, each targeting those monsters.

“Shanyue, Jing Yun,” Wei Huan calmly instructed over the comm, “there’s one demon puppet here that’s different from the others. Avoid it and lure the rest away.”

“Received!”

Wei Huan hovered, looking down at his former home destroyed by those d*mn creatures, a fire burning inside him. He struggled to calm down, preparing to find the demon puppet that assassinated Yun Yongzhao in the dark zone last time, but the chaotic demonic energy here was thick with the scent of Nine Phoenix, making it hard to distinguish.

“Ah Heng, behind you!”

He heard Su Buyu’s voice. Turning around, a huge torrent surged from the ground and instantly solidified into a hard ice wall. Through the translucent ice, Wei Huan saw a demon puppet preparing to ambush him—its upper body human, but from the waist down it had nine snake tails.

The massive snake tails writhed wildly, striking the ice wall fiercely. All the attacks that had landed on Wei Huan were blocked by the wall. Just before the wall shattered, Wei Huan shot into the sky, behind him appeared hundreds of razor-sharp light blades diving like a flock of birds toward the nine-tailed snake demon puppet.

The nine-tailed snake’s tails differed from ordinary snake demons; their tails were fully covered in dense scales, making attacks difficult. Wei Huan controlled the light blades, stabbing the demon’s upper body, beams of brilliant light piercing through it and returning behind Wei Huan.

Unexpectedly, the riddled human body was still able to move, even thrashing its tail more wildly. The tail’s tip had gaps that sprayed liquid while thrashing.

“Careful! That liquid is poisonous!” Wei Huan shouted, flying higher.

The tough scales weakened their attacks. As Wei Huan prepared to unleash another large-scale light blade attack, he suddenly heard a voice through the exoskeleton system—it was Qing He.

“Move aside!”

In an instant, artillery fire tore through the demon puppet’s body, nearly blowing off its upper half. Dodging, Wei Huan saw Qing He standing inside the open-top off-road vehicle, wielding a huge handheld cannon.

At the same time, Yan Shanyue arrived. Behind her appeared nine huge snowy white fox tails, her black hair fluttering, her eyes completely transformed into an icy transparent blue. The iris patterns on her hand detached from her skin, expanding upward to hover above the nine-tailed snake’s head, surrounded by sudden fox fire like a barrier. The poison liquid previously sprayed by the snake demon was suspended midair as if frozen.

The poison liquid, unable to be controlled by her yet, flew toward Wei Huan. Just as he was about to dodge, a golden light shield appeared in front of him, blocking the poison.

In the chaos, Yun Yongzhao’s voice was always the clearest.

“They’re stalling for time.” Yun Yongzhao flew beside Wei Huan. He was still in full demon form; his silvery-white hair brushed against Wei Huan’s arm.

“I’ll deal with him,” Yan Shanyue moved her fingers and the poison liquid condensed. She glanced at Wei Huan, “You go after that demon puppet.”

“Be careful.”

After giving this order, she followed Yun Yongzhao to another location. Yun Yongzhao calmly said, “I’ve already checked the right-rear area. Nothing found.”

Wei Huan hovered. “What do you think he’s after this time?”

Yun Yongzhao looked at him. His left eye was bloodshot, making it even redder; his eyes like heterochromia. “The corpses in the ancestral tomb.”

Wei Huan lowered his head slightly. “So he must be searching for the ancestral tomb’s entrance. Although the Nine Phoenix clan knows this entrance now, he carries Nine Phoenix spiritual power. Given enough time, he can sense where the entrance is.”

He never thought fate could be so cruelly ironic.

The Nine Phoenix clan fought for generations to protect the demon realm, yet now that the entire family no longer exists, they still get dragged into this filthy, disgusting conflict, their corpses exploited and used as pawns in war.

“Block him at the entrance,” Yun Yongzhao said.

Wei Huan tried to open the barrier and enter the ancestral tomb directly but found he still couldn’t command the barrier’s secret order. The Nine Phoenix power in him had recovered less than fifty percent; he could not penetrate the multi-layered sealed barrier.

“My spiritual power isn’t enough. I have the secret order, but I can’t open the barrier entrance.”

“Transmit the secret order mentally to me.” Yun Yongzhao said without hesitation. But Wei Huan was stunned and looked at Yun Yongzhao, “No…”

Yun Yongzhao’s left eye throbbed painfully; he narrowed it slightly. “Rest assured, I won’t tell anyone the secret order. I’ll only enter this once, then…”

“No!” Wei Huan cut him off. “You can’t force open the Nine Phoenix family’s barrier again. You won’t survive it.” He flew to Yun Yongzhao, pressing his forehead to Yun Yongzhao’s. Amidst the chaos of war, he held him tightly.

“Give me your power.”

Yun Yongzhao was somewhat stunned.

But he still grasped Wei Huan’s arms, and the power of the Golden Crow continuously flowed from his body into Wei Huan. Wei Huan could feel the blazing fire being swept upward by a swirling wind, forming a raging sea of flames that boiled and spread through his blood.

Silently reciting the secret command, Wei Huan felt his body being torn apart by two completely different kinds of demonic power — the crimson fire and the blue wind — tangled and yet distinct in the chaos. The next moment, with his eyes closed, he sensed the gate of the barrier.

Wei Huan immediately activated the spirit power to initiate the barrier crossing technique, entering the entrance of the Nine Phoenix ancestral tomb together with Yun Yongzhao. The instant they passed through, the world transformed: they shifted from the Nine Phoenix mansion to this desolate, eerily silent valley. The valley was narrow, with a rushing river flowing below a deep chasm; on one side was a waterfall, and on the other side steep cliffs. Nearly a hundred black standing stones were lined up in sequence from left to right on the cliffs.

“This is your ancestral tomb,” Yun Yongzhao said.

“Yeah. Behind each standing stone is an ice stone coffin. The ice stone was excavated underground in Qianxue City by our ancestors. Using it as a coffin preserves the corpse perfectly for a hundred years.”

Wei Huan found himself at a loss for words. His mood was complicated beyond measure — a mixture of grief, anger, and a trace of self-mockery. He never expected that after exposing his identity, the first place he and Yun Yongzhao would come to would be his own ancestral grave.

How strange.

Without further thought, Wei Huan flew straight to the standing stone engraved with his father’s name. A pang of sorrow surged in his heart, but he gritted his teeth and silently recited the family’s secret to open the ice stone coffin behind the stone. The coffin slowly slid outward from the cliff face. What Wei Huan never expected was that the coffin was empty.

“How is this possible…” His breathing became labored. “I was the one who personally carried the coffin back then.”

Yun Yongzhao held his wrist, steadying his mind. “If it wasn’t stolen, then it was switched at burial. Someone must have tampered with something.”

“So,” Wei Huan murmured, “that demon puppet really did use my father’s… then why would they come here…”

Before he finished speaking, he suddenly felt a familiar demonic wind behind him. As he turned, he clenched a light sword in his hand, blocking an ambush attack from behind with a clang. The attacker wielded a long blade — but it was a blue wind blade.

They had indeed come.

That demon puppet, like last time, wore all black and still had a mask on his face.

Rage filled Wei Huan’s heart, nearly causing him to lose reason. “It’s you…” Behind him, a torrent of blazing flames erupted. Two fire dragons surged toward the mysterious demon puppet. The other side dodged left and right, evading the fire attacks.

Yun Yongzhao’s light blades quickly surrounded the figure, stabbing at him. But just as the golden blades struck, a wind wall suddenly appeared out of nowhere, blocking the attack. Taking advantage of Yun Yongzhao’s momentary lapse, the figure emerged rapidly from above.

“Watch your back!” Wei Huan sensed the appearance of the wind blade and conjured a light shield to block the attack aimed at Yun Yongzhao’s back.

The clash between light manipulation and wind manipulation was nearly evenly matched. Before Wei Huan could unleash his light cone attack, the demon puppet produced a wider-range wind blade. Their collisions prevented either from landing a true hit.

Wei Huan was anxious, especially when he saw the wings on the enemy’s back — the same deep black as his own — which made him even more disgusted. The enemy’s wind manipulation skill was almost on par with his father’s, able to appear in an instant; even he himself had never reached such a level.

He could only attack blindly. The wind blades were razor-sharp, and his battle suit could barely block them. He could almost feel the weapon he once wielded with mastery cutting through his flesh, yet all he could do was endure.

“Don’t be impulsive.” Yun Yongzhao tried to protect Wei Huan with the barrier but found that Wei Huan had already broken through the demon puppet’s wind blade formation, swinging his light sword at the enemy’s head. At the same time, light cords wrapped tightly from below, binding the demon puppet completely.

“Die.”

With one slash, the demon puppet reacted quickly, twisting his body. The sword only sliced through his shoulder. Blood poured from the wound, but the demon puppet showed no reaction, as if he felt nothing.

Yun Yongzhao flew forward, his light blades rolling like a torrent attempting to pierce the man’s body, but the enemy flipped in midair, evading the attack.

Wei Huan summoned more light cords, binding the demon puppet tightly. Around them, countless blue wind blades circled, poised to strike, but Yun Yongzhao was prepared. A golden light suddenly flashed, and behind him appeared countless prism-shaped defensive barriers, blocking the sharp wind blades.

Yun Yongzhao opened his arms as the previously missed light blade converged into a huge light sword. As the demon puppet flipped toward him, he swung down, the blade slicing from top to bottom, striking the demon puppet’s head!

A cracking sound suddenly rang out.

The mysterious demon puppet’s mask cracked like a lightning bolt. Amid the sound of shattering, the black mask finally collapsed.

What they saw next stunned them speechless.

This person…

The exoskeleton communication channel suddenly emitted a sound. Wei Huan’s scalp tingled as he heard Qing He’s nearly trembling voice.

“Don’t kill him… don’t kill him…”

He saw it too.

This demon puppet created by modifying Wei Huan’s father’s corpse — their secret weapon.

It was Xie Tianfa.

Wei Huan never expected that the Xie Tianfa Qing He had been desperately searching for would appear before them in such a way. Suddenly, the sword in his hand loosened its grip.

What to do.

But Xie Tianfa’s pupils were without any glimmer, completely unfocused. He looked like a pure weapon, no trace of humanity left.

To Xie Tianfa, Wei Huan was just a target. Suddenly, a long, narrow wind cone appeared in his hand and stabbed at Wei Huan before he could react.

At the critical moment, Yun Yongzhou shoved Wei Huan aside, and with a sharp clang, the light blade cut through the wind cone.

“He has no memory of being human anymore,” Yun Yongzhou warned. “He’s not human—he just wants to kill you.”

Wei Huan clenched his back teeth tightly. He had never been in such a dilemma before. If Yun Yongzhou weren’t by his side, he might have already been wounded—or dead—because of his own compassion.

Xie Tianfa couldn’t break free from the light bindings, but he kept transforming weapons in his hands. His close-combat abilities were high, but still far inferior to Yun Yongzhou.

“Tell them—at least let Nine Tails or Su Buyu in,” Yun Yongzhou said through gritted teeth as he suppressed Xie Tianfa. “Use space technique to temporarily seal him.”

He and Wei Huan had thought of the same plan. Wei Huan immediately contacted Yang Sheng. Only his spiritual power was strong enough to open this barrier.

“As fast as possible!”

Even though he’d repeatedly said not to let Qing He in, Wei Huan knew in his heart that unless Qing He was knocked unconscious, none of them could stop him. After issuing the command, he rushed forward to assist Yun Yongzhou.

Wei Huan understood Yun Yongzhou’s combat style almost to the point of perfect imitation. They had once been twin pillars of battle, fighting side by side countless times. Their coordination left no gaps in offense. Xie Tianfa was already bound, and now attacked by both of them, he quickly lost the upper hand.

Faster.

More light chains appeared, binding all four of Xie Tianfa’s limbs.

Faster.

They had to seal him.

And just then—by a stroke of fate—Yang Sheng actually broke through the barrier with the others and appeared in front of them. Just as Wei Huan was about to breathe a sigh of relief, the situation flipped again.

“Wei Huan!”

He only caught the flicker of shock across Yang Sheng’s face—

Pain tore through his abdomen. Wei Huan’s pupils dilated sharply. He looked down—an icy blue wind blade pierced through, dripping with blood. As Yun Yongzhou turned in shock, another wind blade slashed at his left shoulder. He twisted his body and narrowly dodged it.

The pain made it hard to breathe. As the long blade was pulled out, Wei Huan clutched his bleeding abdomen and twisted in midair.

The scene before them left everyone in stunned silence.

There wasn’t just one Xie Tianfa. Both Wei Huan and Yun Yongzhou had another one appear behind them, each holding a blue longsword. While Wei Huan stood frozen in shock, the figure split from one to two, then from two to four—until there were eight of them in total. Along with the bound Xie Tianfa, they encircled the group mid-air.

This was His Mother’s Nine-Phase Clone Soul Splitting Technique—and his as well.

So it wasn’t just his father. His Mother, too, had not been spared.

Yun Yongzhou was instantly surrounded by four of the puppets. The one bound by light chains caught a breather, gathered strength, and broke free of all restraints. The others advanced, each unleashing their own abilities to fight.

Wei Huan’s fury finally exploded. The fire in his blood and the wind power surging through his chest collided in a violent current, erupting into an overwhelming mix of red and blue demonic energy that burned along his body.

Swirling vortexes of wind formed around him, sucking him inward. The roar of wind filled his ears—his own wind.

Wei Huan closed his eyes, sensing the burning of the Nine Phoenix Soul within him. That power, long buried in his bloodline, erupted once more. When he opened his eyes again, with just a flick of his hand, a giant wind blade formed from a blue tornado.

Blue demon energy surged through his right arm, turning it terrifyingly monstrous. Blue markings crawled up his neck and onto his cheek.

For some reason, his right eye burned painfully, as if set on fire. The feeling was familiar—it reminded him of when Yun Yang had drawn him in on the first day of school. His right eye had burned then, but nowhere near as intensely as now.

He didn’t care. There was no time.

“Wei Huan’s transformation is even more obvious than before,” Yan Shanyue called out, controlling three of the puppets. But she couldn’t tell which one was real, so she couldn’t seal any.

At this moment, Wei Huan was surrounded by nine identical Xie Tianfas.

What now?

Wei Huan slowly turned in place, frowning deeply, scrutinizing each one of them.

Only striking the real body would work. One-in-nine odds—he couldn’t be sure.

“Yun Yongzhou, which one is—”

The question stopped midway—not because he was interrupted, but because Wei Huan had found the answer himself.

“Wait…” Yang Sheng, about to fly over, suddenly froze.

Su Buyu, having just launched an ice cone, didn’t even have time to retract his hand—he froze in place.

“Ah Heng’s eye…” Jing Yun, lifting a giant tree to throw at the fakes, found himself staring blankly at the circle around Wei Huan. “His eye has become heterochromatic!”

Through the burning pain, Wei Huan’s vision turned gold. Before him, only one Xie Tianfa remained clear. The rest were shadows, tinted in blue.

Without hesitation, he swung his long blade—at the real one. At that same moment, Yun Yongzhou pierced the true body and bound him again with light chains.

“Nine Tails!” Yun Yongzhou, surrounded by fire, his silver hair blowing wildly, revealed a pair of heterochromatic eyes—one gold, one red. “Seal him.”

Wei Huan gripped his blade tightly. His demonization had amplified all his emotions. He could hear his own ragged breathing—but echoing in his ears was something Boss Jue once said:

[The soul-calling ritual requires the most precious thing as a sacrifice. That offering will ultimately be infused into the summoned demon soul.]

So that was why Yun Yongzhou’s eye had become bloodshot and damaged when he was backlashed earlier—even though his Xihe Eye was said to be indestructible.

And now he finally understood why Yun Yang had known there was fire in his body even before he bonded with Yun Yongzhou and had assigned him to the Yansui division.

And why Jing Yun’s borrowed-eye and vision-casting techniques only ever worked on his left eye.

No spell could ever control the Xihe Eye.

Too many clues had led to this moment—threads finally converging into a truth he had never been allowed to know.

“Yun Yongzhou…”

Hearing Wei Huan’s voice, Yun Yongzhou’s heart was already clear. He hadn’t anticipated that Xie Tianfa would possess both his parents’ abilities. The moment he saw the Soul-Splitting Clone Technique appear, he knew—he could hide it no longer.

He turned around and looked straight into Wei Huan’s mismatched eyes—one blue, one gold.

“You…” Wei Huan suddenly choked up.

“Yes,” Yun Yongzhou’s lips curved into a faint smile. His silver hair fluttered, half-covering that blood-red eye, leaving only the golden Xihe Eye that mirrored Wei Huan’s.

“I sacrificed my eye.”
