“It’s you.” Yuwen Chu nodded at Fu Zifei. “It’s late and cold outside. You shouldn’t linger.”
He turned to leave, but Fu Zifei hurriedly caught up, whispering, “I heard Auntie isn’t doing well. I’m very worried. Is she okay?”
“She’s fine.” Yuwen Chu tried to leave, but Fu Zifei held onto his sleeve. He frowned, looking at the hand gripping his sleeve expressionlessly.
Fu Zifei blushed and quickly withdrew her hand, hastily saying in a low voice, “Please don’t misunderstand, Uncle.
