Rebirth in the Apocalypse: The Peach Blossom Debt Chapter 40

Qi Yue hesitated before getting into the car, choosing the seat closest to the door so he could stay as far away from Han Fei as possible.

Han Fei didn’t say anything either. He planned to wait for Qi Yue to speak first. If Qi Yue wanted to practice his abilities, he would have to ask for materials. Unfortunately, that plan completely fell apart.

It was late autumn, yet the weather remained bizarre, scorching hot during the day, bitterly cold at night.

Outside the window, they passed wrecked cars by the roadside, corpses swollen and crawling with maggots, and zombies wandering aimlessly. Everything felt desolate and bleak.

Qi Yue leaned against the window, watching the scenery slip by. It didn’t take long before he began nodding off. He’d been tired lately, making dumplings all day and practicing his ability at night.

He started snoring softly.

Helpless, Han Fei pulled him over and let Qi Yue rest against his chest. Now and then he rubbed Qi Yue’s hand or face. Qi Yue didn’t react at all, sleeping soundly.

Honestly, it was worrying, he was so carefree. If he were ever alone out there, how would he survive?

Han Fei pressed his fingers to his furrowed brow. Why was he worrying like some nagging old mother? The person in question had no idea.

Later that afternoon, they decided to stop at an abandoned dog breeding facility along the road. As their car approached the gate, they saw that someone else had arrived before them.

Peering through the entrance, they saw a mix of different vehicles and people: men, women, young, old, coming and going.

Qi Yue woke up at the commotion.

The leader of the other group had been a police officer before the apocalypse. Their team had about dozens of people, mostly survivors who had met one another by chance while fleeing. After confirming that Han Fei’s group also planned to stay the night, the leader agreed and opened the gate for them.

The dog farm had many rooms, clearly abandoned long before the apocalypse, everything looked run-down.

They chose a room at the far end near the wall for the three of them.

The car was too big to store away, so they parked it outside the room.

Since there was still daylight left, Han Fei briefly checked the room, then went out again to gather information. Without functioning broadcasts, news was scarce.

Lin Yuze stayed inside the car, smoking.

Qi Yue greeted him, then slipped into the room. After making sure no one was watching, he quickly ducked into his ability space.

He headed straight to the small porcelain bowl, feeling it all over. It looked like a completely ordinary rice bowl.

He scooped in a bowl of fried rice he had previously cooked and ate it.

Finished.

…No reaction.

Next, he filled it with noodles from before the apocalypse. Still no reaction.

Different food? He tried boiled dumplings. Nothing.

Stir-fried greens. Nothing.

Braised meat. Still nothing.

How was this supposed to work? Qi Yue was starting to feel bloated. Forcing himself, he tried a bowl of egg soup.

Still nothing.

He couldn’t eat another bite.

Burping and rubbing his stomach, Qi Yue exited the space. He needed to digest first, he could test the bowl again tonight.

Lin Yuze chuckled when he saw him. Ever since Qi Yue vanished and reappeared, he’d been wearing that fitted short-sleeved shirt, and now his stomach was round and bulging. He kept hiccupping and pacing the room to digest, all while clutching a cigarette.

Lin Yuze’s tightly pressed lips curved upward. Qi Yue was really cute.

He walked over and ruffled Qi Yue’s hair. “Kids shouldn’t smoke so much.”

Lin Yuze had always been withdrawn, maturing early since his parents were never around. He never even thought about the fact he wasn’t yet twenty.

Qi Yue froze. He stared at Lin Yuze, taller than him by half a head, who was actually younger, yet looking at him with gentle indulgence and even patting his head.

Indulgence? Wasn’t this treating him like a child? He was an adult, and he intended to look after Lin Yuze, not the other way around.

“I’m twenty-five,” Qi Yue muttered. “You should be calling me ‘older brother.’”

Lin Yuze’s smile curved higher. “Kids pretending to be grown-ups are the most disobedient.”

That set Qi Yue off. His mind sparked with a single thought: prove he was older. He’d survived the apocalypse for years. Sure, he was weaker, less skilled, less worldly, but he absolutely could not stand being treated like a kid.

But how to prove it? He didn’t bring his ID. His Adam’s apple? He touched it, seemed faint.

Agitated and no longer hiccupping, he made a rash decision.

He unbuckled his belt, pulled down his pants and underwear, and pointed at himself with pride.

“Look! Have you ever seen a kid developed like this?”

They were all men, nothing he hadn’t seen as a child when kids compared who could pee farther.

Qi Yue just wanted to prove he was indeed older.

Lin Yuze almost burst out laughing. Qi Yue was far too adorable. He looked at him, completely bare from the waist down, flushed, earnestly trying to prove something.

He pressed his lips together to keep from smiling. “There’s not much difference. Isn’t that how kids are?”

As he spoke, he pointed to the space between his legs, “How can there be no difference? Look closely, it’s impossible for the hair to be this dense. If you don’t believe me, touch it. How could a minor be as big as me?”

Actually, he hadn’t compared himself to others. Although he had been treated that way before, he had never paid attention to what other people’s genitals looked like. However, an undeveloped boy’s genitals are definitely different from a man’s.

Fearing the other party wouldn’t believe him, Qi Yue pulled Lin Yuze’s hand while speaking, grabbing it and pressing it directly between his legs.

When he placed the other person’s hand on his genitals, and Lin Yuze’s warm hand touched him, a jolt of electricity shot through him, and he involuntarily trembled.

Reason returned in an instant, and he froze, his face flushed and neck red, unsure how to end the situation. All the blood in his body rushed to his face, making it burn terribly.

Lin Yuze hadn’t expected Qi Yue to make such a move. The object in his hand was pink, so it was probably rarely used or never used at all. Thinking that, he felt extremely satisfied. Hmm, it looked small and cute, and it was hanging softly between his legs. The hand that was covering it closed up and gripped it.

Hearing Qi Yue gasp, he was even more satisfied, leaned closer to him, lowered his head, and pressed his lips to his ear. “Let me check it for you and see if it’s ripe or not?”

He spoke softly, his hands not idle either, gripping and stroking the object more and more tightly.

Hearing Qi Yue’s slightly rapid breathing, and seeing the object in his hand slowly raise its head, his earlobes turned pink. He stuck out his tongue and licked them, causing the other to shudder slightly.

Not bad, very sensitive.

As the other person’s hot hands enveloped and caressed him, and his manhood began to show signs of aro*sal, Qi Yue froze, his body stiffening, his face burning even more intensely. His breathing became unsteady.

Lin Yuze moved closer, pressing his entire body against Qi Yue’s, lowering his head, his warm breath tickling his ear. When the other’s tongue touched his earlobe, Qi Yue felt his heart pounding in his chest, his legs went weak, and he could only lean on Lin Yuze for support, panting heavily.

Han Fei chatted for a while with the leader of the team that had arrived before them. The other party’s leader’s surname was Wu. Before the apocalypse, he was a household registration police officer. When the apocalypse broke out, he was doing mobile population statistics in his own district, and because there were fewer people flowing through that area, he was able to escape.

There were more than thirty people in the team, all of whom had been encountered along the road over these past days. A few days ago, they heard from the broadcast about the existence of a shelter base, and their destination was also M base.

The army had already stopped rescue operations and advocated that survivors go to the shelter base on their own. And to be admitted into the base, ordinary people had to hand in half of the supplies they carried. Ability users did not need to hand in supplies.

Han Fei also asked around about the situation in the surrounding places and exchanged what they had seen along the way with the other party.

After understanding what he wanted to know and discussing with the other party their intention to stand guard together at night, Han Fei went back to the house where they had previously planned to stay.

As soon as he pushed the door open, he was stunned.

The two people in the room were both standing sideways to the door. Qi Yue’s lower body was bare, his pants pulled down to his feet, his face leaning against Lin Yuze’s shoulder. Lin Yuze was touching him with his hand.

From Han Fei’s angle, he could clearly see Qi Yue’s aroused state being held in the other person’s hand.

The entire room was filled with Qi Yue’s heavy breathing.

Han Fei’s blood rushed up instantly.

So that’s how it is. He had guessed that this pretty boy was not a good person. Always acting restrained.

He had also seen clearly what Qi Yue’s mind was like these days. He was just muddle headed. The most hateful one was this Lin Yuze. He had only gone out for a short while and this man already revealed his true face, daring to take advantage of Qi Yue.

He directly rushed forward, pushed Lin Yuze hard with both hands, and threw a punch.

Qi Yue’s mind was still hazy, his heart beating violently with the movement below. Seeing Han Fei push Lin Yuze, he was still somewhat confused.

Seeing Han Fei’s furious face, he was so frightened that he instantly woke up.

Lin Yuze had touched him, and Han Fei was jealous.

Han Fei grew up in a gang since childhood and was very skilled, especially fond of boxing.

He went up and landed a punch on Lin Yuze’s face, and his body also lunged toward the other person. Lin Yuze was caught off guard, took a punch and fell to the ground. Seeing Han Fei rush over, he kicked out and sent him flying. He flipped up and would not be outdone. Although he looked somewhat thin, he had studied martial arts for more than ten years since elementary school and had even won the national youth martial arts championship twice.

Han Fei also quickly got up. The two of them traded punches and kicks in the room, performing a clash of Chinese kung fu and American boxing, until later they completely tangled together in a scuffle.

Trembling, he pulled his pants back up.

Qi Yue stood to the side, frightened out of his wits. The benefactor and the thigh were fighting. And he was the culprit, this was …
