Rebirth in the Apocalypse: The Peach Blossom Debt Chapter 67

Amidst the chatter of the crowd, Yan Bin, Han Fei, and their group hurriedly headed towards the building where the official trading area was located, guided by Liu Yue.

Yan Bin, who was about to turn into the building, stopped and looked towards the trading area. He was already somewhat confused, wondering if this was a dream or reality. The figure he had unintentionally seen earlier felt very familiar, but when he looked in that direction again, he couldn’t tell if he had seen it wrong or if the person had moved on. People came and went, and among all sorts of people, the one who haunted his dreams was nowhere to be seen.

This is the largest trading area in Base B, usually bustling with people. Qi Yue’s stall was in a corner, in a somewhat secluded location.

Liu Yue stopped in her tracks, puzzled, and asked softly, “What’s wrong?” She also turned to look at the trading area.

“It’s nothing, let’s go.” Ignoring Liu Yue, who was intentionally or unintentionally exuding charm, Yan Bin walked straight into the building. He had seen many women like her who were quite good-looking.

Liu Yue looked on with a resentful gaze, forcing a smile as she greeted the others. Her expression made those who had come with her feel sorry for her; Yan Bin was so insensitive to women.

The group continued walking behind. Han Fei, who was talking to someone, glanced back at the trading area. He wondered what was wrong with Yan Bin’s somewhat abnormal expression earlier. He didn’t notice anything unusual. He turned back to speak to the person next to him, but then suddenly stopped and turned to look in the direction of the corner.

Overjoyed! The figure was Qi Yue. He was still alive, and he was right there at Base B, right in front of him. Han Fei ignored everything and walked straight over, saying to the people following him, “Go tell Yan Bin that I ran into an acquaintance, so I won’t be going to the exchange with him. I’ll go directly to the banquet to meet him later.”

He quickened his pace, trying to catch up with the figure disappearing into the distance, almost jogging. He saw Qi Yue being held in the arms of a young man in military uniform, who was speaking to him intimately, tilting his head to the side. Han Fei rushed forward aggressively, shoving aside the guards blocking his way at the door, and grabbed the familiar figure. As the other turned to look back in confusion, Han Fei pulled him into his arms, holding him tightly.

Qi Yue was held in Tang Ke’s arms. Normally, he would have exploded with anger, but at this moment, he was in a daze and didn’t notice the stares from those around them. Why were Liu Yue and Feng Zhe together at Base B, along with Yan Bin? What were they doing here? What had happened? He was completely baffled and couldn’t recall anything major that had happened recently. Many things were different from what he knew.

A sudden, forceful pull dragged him from behind, causing him to stumble and fall into a warm embrace. Qi Yue was dazed and confused, not quite understanding what was happening, when he was forcefully pressed into the other person’s arms. He could feel the person’s rapid heartbeat. Frowning, he couldn’t even see clearly who this was.

Tang Ke was pondering the things he had just bought, and the thought of how Qi Yue would react if he used them made his blood boil. Suddenly, a man rushed up from behind and pulled Qi Yue into his arms.

D*mn, who is this guy? He even dared to hug his Qi Yue! He was instantly enraged, shoved the man away, and threw a punch at him.

Han Fei was holding Qi Yue, his excitement still not subsided, when Tang Ke pushed him hard without warning. Not only that, a fist came and hit him squarely on the bridge of his nose.

With a whoosh, a sharp pain shot through him, and he was instantly filled with rage. He covered his nose and glared at the guy who had attacked him, wanting to see who was the fool.

Ah, it’s that pretty boy in military uniform who was just hugging Qi Yue. This kid’s asking for it, daring to touch my Qi Yue. He rubbed his nose, the icy touch making him clearly know it was blood. Although the other person looked somewhat familiar, he couldn’t care less at this moment, and pulled up his sleeves to meet him head-on.

Qi Yue stood there dumbfounded, completely bewildered. What was going on? He had no idea what was happening or how a fight had broken out.

Wait, that person, that’s Han Fei! The one who came over and hugged him just now was Han Fei! Oh dear, Qi Yue recognized the person and his first reaction was to look around. He didn’t understand why he felt guilty, but he just really wanted to run away.

Instinctively, they both sensed each other’s hostility. Recalling the other’s previous attitude towards Qi Yue, neither wanted to back down or yield, as if bowing their heads meant admitting defeat. In an instant, they were wrestling. One punch, one kick, the two fought fiercely, evenly matched.

Both groups were puzzled, wondering how a fight had broken out before a single word had been exchanged. But how could they just stand by and watch their boss take the lead? Although this was Tang Ke’s territory, and Tang Ke had more men with him, Han Fei also had several men with him. Although they outnumbered the other side, they were all former gangsters and had seen this kind of scene many times before, so they showed no weakness whatsoever.

This escalated quickly; what started as a one-on-one fight immediately turned into a brawl. On one side were soldiers in military uniforms, and on the other were gangsters in black suits. The fight was incredibly close, with neither side willing to use their supernatural abilities.

As the battle intensified, more people from both sides joined in. Although this wasn’t Han Fei’s home turf, his gang members were spread throughout China, especially at Base B, where their numbers were considerable. Tang Ke’s men arrived in large numbers as well; this was the military’s jurisdiction, and their arrival was even faster.

Han Fei kicked away a man in military uniform who was pressing down on him, and then pounced on Tang Ke. D*mn, this pretty boy is pretty good. He hasn’t stretched his muscles in a long time, so he’ll use him as practice.

Tang Ke punched a tall man in black to the ground, then went to confront the one from before. D*mn it, who is this b*stard? Where did he come from? He’s here to show off. What, he wants to take Qi Yue from me? Doesn’t he know his place?

With a nimble dodge, Qi Yue dodged the person who nearly bumped into him. His mouth gaped open, the scene before him almost making him forget to breathe. His eyes were fixed on what lay ahead; to describe it as utter chaos would be an understatement.

This…this…who can tell him how things turned out this way? Looking at the several men in black running towards them in the distance, and the waves of soldiers in uniform approaching from nearby, he suddenly felt like crying.

What sins has he committed? This fight scene looks so familiar. He’s only just arrived at Base B, and hasn’t even exchanged a few words yet. Why are they fighting right in front of him? It has nothing to do with him, right? He absolutely refuses to believe it, and he absolutely refuses to admit it. It’s impossible; the reason isn’t his fault.

Yan Bin was meeting with the heads of various bases in the official building where the trading area was located, discussing various matters. Tang Yi, Liu Yue’s father Liu Zhengnan, Feng Zhe of Base M, and the current leader of Base S were all present.

A burly man in a black suit leaned close to Yan Bin’s ear and whispered, “Brother Bin, go take a look. In the military’s rest area, Brother Fei is fighting with the people from Base B.”

“What happened?” Yan Bin asked the person who came to report.

“I don’t know, it seems to be about a man.” The burly man in black was somewhat embarrassed and guilty, afraid that he had said the wrong thing, but that was exactly what the person who came to report to him said.

Yan Bin’s expression immediately turned serious. Han Fei wasn’t an impulsive person; what serious incident had happened to start a fight so soon after arriving at Base B? Was it for a man? What exactly happened? He hoped Han Fei wouldn’t be targeted.

After hurriedly saying his piece, he rushed to the scene of the incident, accompanied by Tang Qi from Base B.

Lin Yuze returned to his residence at the base after getting off the plane. He had been away for more than a month, and there were still some things in the superpower team that needed his attention.

Lin Yuze’s residence is the location of the first superpower squad of Base B, the Xunyue Squad, where all the members of the superpower squad are gathered.

Just after he changed his clothes, a team member came to report the situation. After listening, he immediately set off for Tang Ke.

Why did Tang Ke get into a fight as soon as he returned to the base with Qi Yue? Was it because of jealousy? Was it because of his fiancée? There are other women who are even competing with him for Qi Yue, they really don’t know what’s good for them. He felt a surge of anger.

The military headquarters’ jurisdiction was separated from the ordinary residential area by a large gate. Inside, a fierce battle was raging. There were clearly two groups of people: one in green uniforms and the other in black suits. Together, there must have been at least a hundred people.

Outside the gate, two groups of people who had arrived met at the main entrance.

Yan Bin, as always, exuded an imposing aura. He sized up Lin Yuze, who was hurrying over, nodded as a greeting, and stepped through the gate without stopping.

Lin Yuze remained calm and nodded to Yan Bin. Five years had passed; they were old acquaintances. Perhaps they had a chance to become friends. But with Qi Yue’s departure, everything changed. It seemed they were destined never to be friends. Lin Yuze then followed him through the gate.

Tang Qi, who had just arrived, was completely shocked. He hadn’t expected so many Triad members dressed in black to be at Base B, and this was only a small portion of them. They had invited them; he hoped nothing bad would happen, or the consequences would be unimaginable. He quickly directed his men to separate the two fighting groups.

Qi Yue was still stunned. He had never seen such a large-scale brawl before. This was too impressive; even fights involved large groups of people. Later, a large group of people pulled the people on both sides apart, and only after the fight stopped did Qi Yue come to his senses.

Taking a deep breath to calm himself, Qi Yue tilted his head and glanced at the people trying to break up the fight by the door.

At that one glance, he immediately began to tremble, biting his lower lip hard and squinting as he watched the figure slowly approach.
