After showering and changing into Chi You’s clothes, Jiang Luo stood in front of the mirror examining himself.
He had only hastily wiped off the water with a towel. Chi You’s shirt was still a little too big and long on him, perfectly covering his upper body while revealing a pair of long, strong legs.
The black fabric contrasted beautifully with his fair skin. The post-shower flush gave his complexion a glowing hue, adding a touch of seductive charm to his already captivating appearance.
He looked good like this, but Jiang Luo wasn’t satisfied with this look. His brows furrowed slightly—he didn’t seem forceful enough, nor masculine enough.
Ever since getting involved with the malicious ghost, Jiang Luo had wanted to appear more dominant. His innate competitiveness constantly clashed with Chi You’s presence. Wearing just a boyfriend shirt now made him feel like he was losing.
His gaze drifted to the clothes he had taken off.
They had only been worn in an air-conditioned room the entire day—completely fine to wear a little longer.

Chi You was sitting at the edge of the bed reading.
When the bathroom door opened, he looked up and saw Jiang Luo walking out, fully dressed.
He was wearing Chi You’s shirt—slightly oversized—but he had paired it with his own cargo pants and combat boots. The shirt was buttoned up to the second button from the top, conservatively showing only a bit of neck. Compared to the seductive image Chi You had imagined, he looked more like a sharp, cocky and stunningly beautiful officer.
Chi You raised an eyebrow, closing his book with interest.
The malicious ghost’s eyes glinted like a predator eyeing its prey. Jiang Luo’s originally expressionless face turned stern, his brows drawing together as an air of hostility emerged. He stared sharply at Chi You and barked, “What are you looking at? Go shower, now.”
The black-haired youth lifted his chin, his boots thudding on the floor as he walked forward with forceful steps. “You have ten minutes.”
After all of Jiang Luo’s different “scenarios,” Chi You had become an expert in role-play. He could seamlessly immerse himself in any role and play along with enthusiasm.
He let out a sigh and obediently stood up. As he walked past Jiang Luo, he took his hand and kissed it gently. “Yes, Officer.”
He strode into the bathroom.
As water splashed inside, Jiang Luo nimbly stepped outside, broke a long tree branch, stripped off the leaves and bark, revealing the pale wood underneath.
He swung it—cutting through the air easily. Flexible, strong. Perfect to serve as his “disciplinary whip.”
Satisfied, Jiang Luo returned to the room. His eyes happened to catch a book on the nightstand—white cover.
He’d seen this one around Chi You’s place before. Some nights, Chi You would quietly pull it out to read.
Curious, Jiang Luo flipped it open with the stick still in hand—and saw an entire page filled with dense English text.
Tch… it was in English?
Trying to be pretentious?
He was just about to shut it when two words caught his eye.
“Pornanchor…”
Jiang Luo’s expression instantly shifted.
Wasn’t that… something like a porn host?
He immediately recalled the night when Chi You had nearly driven him crazy.
…Don’t tell him Chi You learned all that from this book?
Jiang Luo skeptically read on. Two lines in, and his face changed.
F*ck.
His expression was on the verge of collapse.
He had learned from this book!
Jiang Luo quickly flipped through more pages. The more he read, the more he felt his worldview being expanded. D*mn. D*mn! He was completely floored by Chi You.
No wonder he kept coming up with new tricks. No wonder he had installed mirrors on two walls.
Jiang Luo’s eyes didn’t blink as he flipped more pages. He was now seriously tempted to burn this corrupting book.
The sound of running water stopped. Jiang Luo glanced at the clock—only three minutes had passed. Chi You had finished showering that fast? That was insanely quick. Jiang Luo immediately tossed the book under the bed, intending to destroy it later.
Just as he stood up, Chi You pushed the door open and walked out. Compared to Jiang Luo’s fully covered state, the ghost was much more relaxed—only a towel wrapped around his waist, revealing his lean, muscular torso.
“Very good. You completed my order ahead of time,” Jiang Luo’s expression softened slightly, then quickly turned cold again. “What are you standing there for? Do I need to invite you into bed?”
Chi You smiled. “Yes, Officer.”
He walked over and sat on the bed. Jiang Luo stood in front of him, tapping the branch against his palm, his gaze cold and examining.
Under that gaze, Chi You felt like a small soldier—weak, but audacious enough to covet his commanding officer.
He willingly accepted this role. He sat up straight, but his eyes were far from obedient. His ambitious, aggressive gaze locked onto Jiang Luo’s body.
Jiang Luo smacked him with the branch without mercy, leaving a red mark on his chest.
“Watch your eyes.”
The scolded “soldier” regretfully withdrew his gaze. “Yes, Officer.”
Jiang Luo gave a cold snort and lifted Chi You’s chin, making him look toward the two mirrored walls.
“Explain. Why are there mirrors in your room?”
Chi You replied, “I just wanted you to see how cute your reactions are, darling.”
Jiang Luo’s eyes narrowed. “Don’t get familiar with me.”
The ghost adjusted quickly. “I only wanted you to see how beautiful you are, Officer.”
Jiang Luo squinted, lowered the whip, and began sizing up Chi You’s body. He suddenly said, vaguely, “Your figure’s not bad.”
His expression was already showing interest.
The ghost caught on instantly. As the favored “soldier,” he boldly reached out and touched Jiang Luo. This time, Jiang Luo didn’t push him away.
“Officer, you’re even more open than I imagined,” Chi You pressed Jiang Luo down onto the bed. His brows lowered dangerously, voice heavy, “Don’t tell me… you’ve allowed other soldiers to do this too?”
Jiang Luo hadn’t expected that extra line. The blood in his veins quickened. His face turned cold as he tried to sit up, having lost interest in this disobedient soldier. “That’s not a question you’re allowed to ask.”
That answer, of course, suggested others had been allowed.
Chi You forcefully pinned him back down, his fingers gripping Jiang Luo’s throat.
“You’re not being obedient.”
His cold fingers traced Jiang Luo’s artery slowly. “From now on, don’t go near anyone else but me.”
Jiang Luo snorted. “Says who?”
“Says none of them are better than me.” Chi You lifted his chin and kissed him. “Says if anyone dares approach you, I’ll kill them.”
Jiang Luo laughed. “Then come try.”

The malicious ghost’s heartbeat grew stronger and more chaotic. His eyes were dark, burning with intense and almost unhealthy obsession.
The water dripped from the bathroom. A breeze blew through the window. Though it was summer, the ghost city was cool and dim.
That kind of chill, oddly enough, felt comfortable to Jiang Luo.
Jiang Luo said, “Don’t forget—”
Chi You irritably got up, face blank, and reached for the nightstand. The ghostly wind pulled the drawer open. After retrieving what he needed, Chi You leaned back down, ready to embrace ultimate pleasure.
But the next second, the malicious ghost froze in disbelief.
He looked down. His face instantly turned pitch black.
Jiang Luo reacted quickly. Who knew from where, but he whipped out his phone and captured several pictures of Chi You’s current dumbfounded face.
He laughed arrogantly. “Hah! Try taking ugly photos of me again!”
Jiang Luo had been waiting for this moment. Ugly pictures? Nothing’s worse than realizing you can’t even get it up before the real action begins!
He held back his laughter, glanced downward deliberately, and said with exaggerated concern, “Oh no, Chi You… why aren’t you working?”
Jiang Luo’s face twisted with effort to hold back his mirth. The phone’s video function was still dutifully recording every micro-expression on the malicious ghost’s face.
From shock, to fury, to disbelief, to a bruised combination of green and black—he looked like a palette of emotional chaos.
“Chi You…”
Jiang Luo barely held it in, looking at him with fake sympathy, his eyes brimming with concern. He patted Chi You’s shoulder gently and comforted him, “It’s okay. This condition is treatable. When we get back, I’ll ask around for a spiritual charm for men’s health. If that doesn’t work, we can go scientific. We’ve got money—let’s invest in a research institute to develop ED treatments.”
He added righteously, “A real man dares to face his… shortcomings. Even if you’re not working, I won’t look down on you. After all… I still work just fine.”
Chi You: “……”
