Gu Yunli walked to the entrance of the villa, opened the door, but no one walked out. Only a side view of Gu Qingchuan sleeping on the sofa could be seen. This raised the guards’ alertness; they held special rifles, with two entering through the front door and others checking the windows in the backyard.

Standing at the door, Gu Yunli gave a slight smile in the direction of Gu Liyu. In the shadow, he exuded a cold, melancholic beauty.

The guards who entered noticed that Gu Liyu was still awake and immediately approached him, “Where is Gu Yunli?”

This young man looked at them as if nothing had happened, half-tilting his head, radiating a calmness that instilled awe.

In an instant, the entire villa seemed to be drawn by a tremendous force, collapsing wildly from all directions with Gu Liyu at the center. The scent of ambergris overwhelmed them.
