Chu Xuhuan showed no reaction, but Dong Du knew there would be a surprise when they left.
However, this surprise seemed somewhat unexpected.

“Me?” Dong Du paused before realizing this guy must have received brainwashing from Xia En. They were both victims, and Dong Du didn’t want to argue. He continued to pat his shoulder. “If you’ve noticed, that’s good.”
“Yeah.” Meng Ruan rubbed his eyes. “Thank you.”
Chu Xuhuan observed the whole process with a mysterious expression. He forgot about retaliating against Xia En for using him, thinking about doing it next time. He then saw Dong Du helping up the exhausted Meng Ruan. “Alright, alright, an alpha crying like a useless person. Let’s go, leave this place to those who can handle it. Qi Lin, come help me support him!”
Qi Lin came over, looking dazed. “Oh.”
Chu Xuhuan, finding this place useful, took a deep breath, then shifted his gaze to Xia En. “You’ve been silent for a while. It’s been a long time. You seem different from before.”
