Moisture gathered in Ye Ran’s eyes, misting his reddened eyelids. His gaze was still a bit dazed, but he could already feel that scalp-tingling sensation.
Shen Shi always gave him a deeply unsettling sense of aggression at certain moments like now. He held him in a tender, lingering embrace, yet there wasn’t the slightest trace of a smile in his eyes. He simply stared at him, gaze heavy, as if trying to see straight through him, to figure out exactly what he was thinking.
Ye Ran began to feel afraid, not daring to say anything like that again. He obediently leaned into Shen Shi’s arms, his sweat-sheened skin pale and soft, warm to the touch like living jade.
Feeling him stiffen, Shen Shi seemed to realize his fear. His expression paused; he lowered his jaw to Ye Ran’s shoulder and explained in a soft, hoarse voice: “Baby, don’t say things like that again.”
Ye Ran mumbled, “…I was just talking.”
“Even ‘just talking’ isn’t allowed.” Shen Shi pinched his fingertips lightly. His eyes lowered as he asked calmly, “If I always talked about breaking up or long distance, would you be happy?”
Ye Ran thought for a moment. He was currently in a phase of being glued to Shen Shi, spending almost all 24 hours of the day together, except for sleeping.
Shen Shi spoiled him, but it was a different kind of spoiling than what he received from Father Ye or An Yu. Every day, Ye Ran was soaked in his gentle yet forceful affection, quietly being raised into many new habits of relying on him.
“…No,” he said. Just imagining it made his heart ache. He couldn’t help rubbing his cheek against Shen Shi’s. His soft hair brushed against Shen Shi’s jawline, and Shen Shi’s eyes softened as he listened to Ye Ran murmur, “I won’t say that again.”
“Mm.” Shen Shi tilted his head and kissed his soft cheek. He didn’t continue the topic that made them both unhappy. “There’s an astronomy club gathering the night after tomorrow. Do you want to go?”
Ye Ran frowned. “Are you going?”
Shen Shi said, “I’ll follow your lead.”
Thinking of Liang Feng and Lin Ziqian from the astronomy club, Ye Ran’s frown deepened. Since returning to school this year, the two had become much more low-key and had never bothered him again. But Ye Ran felt a visceral disgust toward them.
“I don’t want to go,” he said. “It’s boring.”
Shen Shi let out a quiet laugh. “Then what’s interesting?”
Ye Ran thought for a moment. If he had to say it, the most interesting thing would definitely be lying in bed playing on his phone and watching videos but of course he couldn’t say that.
His gaze drifted. “What about you? What do you think is interesting?”
“I think,” Shen Shi said unhurriedly, “doing intimate things with you is interesting.”
“…” Ye Ran stared blankly for two seconds, then snapped out of it. He tilted his head up and slapped a hand over Shen Shi’s mouth, both angry and embarrassed. “Why are you always like this!”
Shen Shi caught his hand. The soft fingertips already had faint marks from Shen Shi’s earlier teasing. He kissed them again, his tone casual. “What did I do?”
“You know perfectly well what you did!”
“I don’t.” Shen Shi paused, then seemed to suddenly comprehend something. He lowered his eyes lazily toward Ye Ran. “Do you think so too?”
Ye Ran felt like he’d been splashed with dirty water for no reason. “I do not!”
“You do.” Before he could argue, Shen Shi’s lips curved slightly. Under the light, his elegant, sharply defined features were like they were covered in a faint glow. His eyes were dark, his hair black as ink. His long, pale fingers lifted slightly as he touched a ribbon, fiddling with it gently.
The ribbon was soft, with a small bell attached at the end. A long piece hung down from the edge of the blanket, draping casually off the bed.
The little bell jingled lightly.
Ye Ran’s pupils tightened and then slowly filled with a hazy layer of confusion and moisture. His lips involuntarily parted, and a soft sob escaped his lips. His slender neck drooped, his black hair fell loose, and water trickled down his lips.
Shen Shi patted his lower back, his Adam’s apple bobbing slightly. He just stared at him, his tone indifferent: “I just taught you, baby.”
Ye Ran’s breathing trembled, bewildered. Tears welled up in his eyes, and his entire face was flushed and wet. He supported himself against Shen Shi’s chest, his mind blank for a minute before he slowly remembered. He squinted his wet, red eyes and awkwardly kissed Shen Shi’s face.
His kisses were light and haphazard. After kissing Shen Shi’s face, his lips trembled. His soft, fleshy lips were like plump cherries, overflowing with juice. He suppressed a sob, opened his mouth, and kissed Shen Shi’s lips.
Very soon, the room filled with the soft sounds of kissing.
After a moment, Shen Shi laughed, as though amused. His voice coaxed gently: “So good, baby.”
“Did you eat candy?” His voice gradually deepened, taking on a stern tone. “Open your mouth wider, let me see… Hmm, what’s this?”
He sucked on Ye Ran’s swollen, bright red tongue, his eyes dark and fierce, licking it deeply, and demanding in a menacing tone, “Who told you to eat it?”
Ye Ran was kissed so hard that tears streamed down his face. His eyelashes were wet with moisture, and he cried in a daze, looking pitiful. He shook his head, unable to escape, and could only sob and apologize, “I’m sorry, I don’t know… I don’t know either.”
“Just an apology?” the man in front of him asked coldly, his hands gripping his waist and lifting him up slightly. Ye Ran’s tears fell even faster, his body limp and powerless, like a puddle of water. “I taught you what to do in a situation like this.”
Ye Ran’s mind was a complete mess; he couldn’t remember anything. His eyes were wet with tears, and he was dazed. He obediently kissed Shen Shi, saying, “I forgot… I’m sorry, I forgot again…”
He looked so pitiful, yet even so, he still clung to Shen Shi, his gaze still gentle and dependent. Shen Shi loved seeing him like this most. His Adam’s apple bobbed, and he said to him, “How could you forget again, baby?”
Ye Ran was lifted up by his waist, and in his hazy state, he touched a patch of hot, hard skin. Shen Shi’s bathrobe was loose and open, revealing the strong, smooth lines of his shoulders and back. He gently kissed Ye Ran’s forehead and led him into the bathroom.
“I’ll teach you one more time,” Shen Shi said with a smile, the vibrating bell ringing in his ear, “This time, last a little longer.”
….
Friday night.
Ye Ran slept for the entire afternoon. His mind was gradually clearing.
His body felt clean and fresh, the blankets warm and soft. Shen Shi was still asleep beside him, his black eyes closed. His complexion was pale; his high nose bridge made his features look sharp and cold. Even in sleep, he looked hard to approach.
Ye Ran thought about what happened that afternoon in the bathroom. He blinked, his face burning with shame. Despite everything, Shen Shi had still been gentle with him, worried about his body, he only tended to Ye Ran once, then reluctantly coaxed him for half the afternoon. Right before falling asleep, Ye Ran had still heard Shen Shi’s low, strained voice from holding himself back.
Thinking of that, Ye Ran lifted his head and gently kissed the bridge of Shen Shi’s nose.
Shen Shi seemed to sense it. He didn’t move, but the corner of his lips curved slightly.
Ye Ran didn’t notice. Fully awake now, he nestled into Shen Shi’s arms. Shen Shi’s arm rested over his waist, and his broad, warm chest pressed against Ye Ran’s back. Ye Ran reached for his phone beside the bed, currently charging, and saw that he had 99+ new messages.
So many messages?
He clicked his tongue and opened the latest one, only to see the vice president’s message: “Everyone, shut up.”
Ye Ran: “…!”
His mind snapped to attention. He immediately began scrolling up through the chat history, searching for the beginning. After almost three minutes of scrolling, he finally found the source.
Gossiping, it’s human nature.
The astronomy club had originally planned to meet on Saturday, but since a few other classes also had gatherings that day, the president decided to move the event to Friday. The members all agreed and showed up punctually at the Swan Hotel.
At dinner, although some members weren’t very familiar with one another, the atmosphere was still fairly pleasant. Afterward, they went to a private room on the top floor to sing karaoke. Midway through the singing, after everyone had drunk too much, one guy took advantage of a “truth or dare” round to confess to the girl he liked.
The girl blushed, embarrassed, but since she truly had no feelings for him, she politely declined. She never expected the guy to laugh it off and say things like, “Come on, I just picked some random girl to complete the dare, you’re taking it way too seriously,” “Don’t overthink it, I don’t even like you,” and “Sorry, did I make you misunderstand? Haha.”
Just reading the retelling in the group chat made Ye Ran angry.
The girl’s eyes had turned red with fury, while the guy nonchalantly urged everyone to keep playing.
The girls in the club immediately snapped back at him, mocking him openly, throwing sharp remarks, and one of the more straightforward girls even pointed at his face and cursed him out. The girls stood united, and the guys on that side, embarrassed, just stood by awkwardly.
But the guy, fuming after being scolded, suddenly flipped a table and tried to start a fight. The situation instantly blew up. Over twenty people in the room tried to break it up and calm everyone down, and only after half an hour did things finally settle.
It didn’t end there. That night, one of the girls made an anonymous post about the incident on the campus confession wall. Though it was anonymous, everyone in the astronomy club could tell who it was about. When the guy saw it, he immediately took a screenshot and sent it to the group, demanding to know who had posted it.
The girls, already full of bottled-up anger, weren’t about to back down. The group chat erupted again, turning into a full-on argument.
The vice president’s message that Ye Ran saw came just as the fight had escalated from bickering to open insults.
[Vice President – Guan Ran]: Enough. Stop arguing. Jiang Xu, don’t you even know whose fault this is?
[Jiang Xu]: Whatever. I’m done talking to you women. I’ll just quit the club, okay? I already said I was drunk and acting stupid, what, that’s still not enough for you? Women are always making a fuss.
[Member A]: Oh, so now it’s “I was drunk and acting stupid”? What, next time you kill someone drunk, you’ll tell the court the same thing? You’ve just been a coward for too long, and now it’s spilling out.
[Jiang Xu]: *** You idiot.
[Member B]: Oh, look who’s mad now. Weren’t you acting tough a second ago? Just get out already. How does the astronomy club even have someone as brain-dead as you, confess, get rejected, and then throw a tantrum?
[Jiang Xu]: Who asked for your opinion, huh?
[An Yuan]: Jiang Xu, do I have the right to speak? You make me sick. Just thinking about how you once confessed to me makes me want to go to a temple to cleanse my bad luck.
[Jiang Xu]: Wow, you really think too much. I already said I never liked you. Don’t flatter yourself. A girl as ugly as you? I’d have to be cursed to like you.
[An Yuan]: Stop polluting the world, you piece of trash. Go crawl back into your mother’s womb and try again.
…
Ye Ran frowned deeply as the group chat started another round of insults.
Suddenly, he felt a warm breath near his ear. Shen Shi had woken up at some point. His eyelids were still drooping with sleep, his chin resting lightly on Ye Ran’s shoulder as he wrapped his arms around him. Looking down with that drowsy air, he asked softly, “What’s wrong?”
“Oh, something happened at their gathering,” Ye Ran briefly summarized, still fuming. “That Jiang Xu guy is really—”
Shen Shi didn’t really care about other people’s drama. He just listened quietly, and then asked, “Wasn’t the gathering supposed to be tomorrow?”
“They moved it up a day,” Ye Ran replied, glancing at the clock on the wall. “It’s nine o’clock. Let’s go out to eat too.”
Since last night, the two of them had only eaten twice and both times not at proper mealtimes.
Shen Shi nodded and got out of bed.
He pulled on a pair of gray sweatpants, loosely tying the drawstrings, then slipped on a black hoodie. With his long fingers, he picked up another set of the same outfit in a smaller size, glanced at Ye Ran who was still glued to his phone reading gossip and waited patiently.
Since Ye Ran hadn’t attended the gathering, he didn’t really have grounds to comment. When he saw the situation finally ending with Jiang Xu quitting the club and apologizing, he set his phone down with satisfaction, got dressed, and shuffled to put on his shoes, hair still a messy tangle.
Shen Shi went to the bathroom, fetched a comb, and smoothed out Ye Ran’s hair for him.
Ye Ran, looking serious, made him squat down and carefully combed his hair in return.
The two of them walked out of the hotel together, shoulder to shoulder. Maybe it was just his imagination, but as they passed through the lobby, the hotel manager came up warmly to greet them and politely asked if there was anything about the stay that could be improved.
Ye Ran averted his eyes awkwardly, thinking, Does “the bathtub’s too small” count as feedback?
Shen Shi simply cast a cool glance over, said “No need,” and directly took Ye Ran’s hand, leading him out.
They found a small local diner nearby. It was crowded, the TV was playing an idol drama, and the atmosphere was relaxed.
Ye Ran ordered a bowl of clear broth noodles. As he ate, he chatted with Shen Shi. The steam from the noodles misted over his face, softening his bright eyes and lips. Under the glow of the streetlights and the distant sea of lights outside, his smile seemed to melt right into the night. Shen Shi reached out, pinched his cheek for no reason, leaving Ye Ran staring at him in confusion.
After their meal, neither of them went straight back to the hotel. Instead, they strolled leisurely through the night streets.
The evergreen trees lining the sidewalk were budding with fresh shoots—the tender green of new leaves heralding the arrival of spring. Couples, families, and groups of friends all ambled along like them. On both sides of the road, bright shop signs lit up small boutiques, print shops, and fruit stores, little pieces of ordinary life glowing quietly in the evening air.
Everywhere was filled with the scent of life.
Not far away was Spring Lake, the centerpiece of the central garden.
Spring Lake was vast, with boats drifting across its surface, each adorned with lanterns. Their soft glow shimmered over the water like scattered fragments of light. Outside the railings, clusters of adults and children chatted cheerfully, admiring the view and filling the night with warm laughter.
Ye Ran took a few steps, his eyes lighting up. Suddenly, with a mischievous grin, he jumped onto Shen Shi’s back.
Shen Shi immediately steadied him, not flustered at all, and started walking toward the lake with Ye Ran on his back, unhurried and calm. Ye Ran wrapped his arms around his neck, his soft, cool cheek brushing against Shen Shi’s as his eyes curved with laughter. “Charge!”
Shen Shi laughed under his breath as he began to run, voice steady even as he moved. “Charge where?”
The damp breeze from the lake brushed across their faces.
Lying comfortably against his back, Ye Ran said, “Charge to the lake!”
“As you command,” Shen Shi replied.
Knowing how easily Ye Ran embarrassed, he made sure to find a dim corner out of the reach of the streetlights, where they wouldn’t be easily seen. Couples, men and women alike, were scattered all around them, whispering and laughing sweetly. The two of them were striking to look at, and so close they almost seemed inseparable. The nearby young people, worldly and amused, only exchanged knowing smiles and didn’t stare.
After a while, Ye Ran began to feel shy and tried to get off.
Shen Shi’s voice drifted through the lake breeze, slow and mellow: “Want to go rowing?”
Ye Ran’s attention was instantly diverted. He looked toward the lake, where lantern-lit boats floated. Each carried about twenty people, children waving their glowing lanterns, their faces bright with joy.
Ye Ran shook his head. “Nah, there are too many people.”
“Alright.” Shen Shi glanced over and, seeing every boat already full, withdrew his gaze. “We can come back another time when you feel like it.”
“No need. This place is so far from school.”
Spring Lake lay in the southern part of the city. A bit farther south were the hot spring resorts.
The whole area was highly developed, plenty of leisure and entertainment spots. There were gardens, hot springs, country inns, amusement parks, even a few riding clubs and villa complexes for gatherings.
It was worlds apart from the Ye family’s home, one in the south, one up north.
Shen Shi didn’t seem to mind. “Next time there’s a long weekend, I’ll bring you here for a few days.”
Ye Ran smiled with pursed lips, saying nothing. In the dark, he turned his head slightly and placed a soft kiss on Shen Shi’s cheek.
Shen Shi’s brows lifted, his dark eyes filled with quiet amusement. He murmured coaxingly, “One more.”
With so many people around, Ye Ran didn’t dare. He whispered, “I’ll kiss you when we get back.”
Shen Shi said, “Two when we get back.”
“Huh? No.”
“Then three.”
Ye Ran turned his face away, hair tousled lightly by the wind. Suppressing a laugh, he reached out to cover Shen Shi’s mouth. “No.”
Shen Shi tilted his head down slightly, letting him cover his lips.
The moment Ye Ran’s palm brushed against them, a soft smack sounded. Shen Shi had kissed his palm, his eyes gentle and smiling beneath his lashes.
Ye Ran’s ears flushed red. Guilty and flustered, he glanced around to make sure no one saw. “There. We’re even now.”
“How is that even?” Shen Shi lifted his eyelids, looking at him lazily.
“You kissed once, I kissed once. We’re even,” Ye Ran said.
“Oh?” Shen Shi drawled. Then, lowering his head again, he kissed Ye Ran’s palm a second time. “Now you owe me one.”
Ye Ran instinctively drew back his hand, dazed for a moment before bursting into quiet laughter.
Shen Shi smiled too, turning to nuzzle Ye Ran’s cheek. “What’s so funny?”
“I don’t know.” Ye Ran couldn’t stop laughing, muffling his grin against Shen Shi’s shoulder, his eyes curved like crescents.
Just as Shen Shi was about to speak again, a sudden collective gasp rippled through the crowd.
“Wow—!”
They turned at the same time. Over the expanse of Spring Lake, thousands of drones rose slowly into the sky. Before the crowd’s wide eyes, they arranged themselves into the shape of a flower petal.
Cheers erupted as people realized what was happening. Excited voices filled the air, faces lit by the glowing lake and the reflection of lanterns from the boats, children’s laughter bright and clear.
It was a drone light show.
The drones shifted from a flower petal into an arrow piercing a heart, then into a delicate hand wearing a white lace glove. Slowly, a ring slid onto its ring finger. Moments later, the drones rearranged into glowing words—
[Nana, will you marry me?]
“Whoa—!” someone shouted. The onlookers caught on instantly. “Nana! Your boyfriend’s proposing to you!”
“This proposal is insane!”
“So pretty… How much would that even cost?”
“Based on the number of drones and transitions, probably around 800,000 yuan.”
“Eight hundred thousand?!”
“Some people can’t even afford an 80,000 dowry, and others drop 800,000 on a proposal without blinking. Life really isn’t fair.”
Ye Ran slid off Shen Shi’s back, tilting his head up. The shimmering drone lights danced across his face, lighting up his long, narrow eyes. Under the faint glow, his lashes were thick, his soft red lips curved into a smile, so vivid and beautiful he looked like a painting.
Shen Shi couldn’t help himself, he leaned down and kissed Ye Ran’s eyelid.
Ye Ran froze, eyes going wide. Once he confirmed that everyone was still focused on the drone show and hadn’t noticed them, he relaxed, shoulders finally loosening. “During New Year,” he said, “someone proposed with drones near our place too.”
“Was it nice?” Shen Shi asked.
“Yeah,” Ye Ran nodded, embarrassed. “I even went to pick up the candy afterward.”
He’d only managed to grab a few pieces while An Yu, surrounded by a bunch of kids, had charged into the crowd and singlehandedly became the “candy champion” of the entire villa district.
Nearby, a couple was chatting.
“People with money treat eight hundred thousand like a couple hundred.”
“Of course. You see those houses over there?” Not far from Spring Lake was a cluster of luxury residences—one of the priciest communities in the capital. From there, you could see both the lake and the central park: peaceful yet central, every inch prime real estate. “The houses there start at ten million. To them, a few hundred thousand is just pocket change.”
The girl laughed with envy. “Then we’ll just have to work hard and buy a few houses in the future.”
“Fine, I’ll buy you a whole building,” the boy joked back.
“Already making big plans?” the girl asked.
“No, this is called looking forward to the future,” he said.
Ye Ran hadn’t heard their conversation. He was too focused on the drones, wondering whether there would be more performances. Shen Shi, however, lifted his eyes thoughtfully and glanced toward the residential complex standing in the mist in the distance.
The drone show ended quickly, and the two of them returned, satisfied.
Hand in hand, they strolled along the roadside, chatting occasionally.
By the time they got back to the hotel, it was already past eleven.
After showering, Ye Ran naturally snuggled into Shen Shi’s embrace. The bedside lamp cast a warm, golden glow, illuminating this small corner of their world.
The blanket smelled faintly of chamomile. Ye Ran’s hair had just been dried, faintly scented with lemon. Shen Shi still hadn’t put on a shirt; his upper body was covered by a thin layer of muscles, warm and solid. Ye Ran leaned against him, watching a popular spy thriller on the tablet together.
Gunfire and chaos filled the screen, tension mounting.
Ye Ran held his breath lightly, tense with anticipation. Shen Shi watched casually, absentmindedly stroking his waist, eyes lowered, a decision forming.
***
At the same moment, in Shanghai.
On the first floor of an international hotel, waltz music drifted through the lobby as guests mingled, glasses clinking in the lively crowd.
Shen Hanqing stood with his assistant, who carefully introduced the profiles of several business partners.
He gave a faint “hm” in response, expressionless.
Mother Shen had already found familiar friends. Several well-groomed ladies whispered politely to one another, their conversation delicate.
Just as the assistant was about to speak, he noticed Shen Hanqing’s expression soften slightly. A billionaire businessman held a glass of red wine and stepped forward, calling out, “Huaishan.”
The assistant looked over and saw a middle-aged man, serious and formal in a suit, but still retaining the handsome features of his youth.
Ye Huaishan turned at the sound of his name. Upon seeing him, his expression softened. The two old friends hadn’t met in years, but a recent business deal had reunited them. They had a small gathering a few nights prior, catching up on all that had happened over the years. Shen Hanqing then learned that Mother Ye had already passed away.
The Ye and Shen families had graduated from the same university back in the day.
For certain reasons, the four had been close during their university years. But that was a different time, communication was limited. Before graduation, they shared their plans and addresses, but over the years, with moves and changing times, they gradually lost contact.
When Mother Shen learned of Mother Ye’s passing, she cried the entire night at home, exhausted, and said she would have to visit Beijing soon to pay her respects.
Ye Huaishan walked toward Shen Hanqing, smiling faintly. “Even someone busy like you comes to this kind of banquet?”
“There are a few business partners here,” Shen Hanqing said, patting his shoulder. “Let’s have a drink after it ends.”
“Alright. I have to discuss contracts tomorrow, so I’ll drink less tonight.”
Shen Hanqing shook his head helplessly. “You should rest a bit too.”
Ye Huaishan said nothing further. “We’ll talk when there’s time.”
The company and Ye Ran were the last attachments left by Mother Ye. He had no energy left to handle anything else.
Thinking of Ye Ran, Ye Huaishan paused, then asked, “I remember your child is studying in Beijing too.”
At the mention of children, Shen Hanqing’s smile faded noticeably. He pressed his lips together and murmured, “He’s at Beijing University, studying finance. Stubborn little guy, hasn’t softened even once in years.”
Ye Huaishan laughed. “Just like his father, then.”
Shen Hanqing chuckled dryly. “Not like me. I wasn’t that reckless when I was young.”
Ye Huaishan was somewhat surprised to hear Shen Hanqing say that.
“My kid’s at Beijing University too. When there’s a chance, we should bring the kids together so they can meet.”
“I was thinking the same thing,” Shen Hanqing said, his smile restrained. Thinking of Shen Shi’s cold, impatient temperament, he worried that this meeting might not go smoothly for the Ye family’s child. “We’ll arrange it then.”
Ye Huaishan nodded. “Alright.”
They chatted idly, eventually turning to talk about their children.
Hearing that Ye Ran had been obedient and well-behaved from a young age, Shen Hanqing’s smile nearly faltered.
Shen Shi, the first person to ever make him taste defeat, had been headstrong since age three, refusing classes and running away from home. By high school, he had become rebellious, daring to do anything. Nearly twenty years later, through multiple interactions with Shen Shi, Shen Hanqing clearly saw how outstanding his son was, but also how proud, arrogant, and unyielding.
He felt proud of Shen Shi, but also anxious for his future.
If Shen Shi maintained his high-handed attitude forever, he would eventually face harsh consequences.
However, since entering university, Shen Shi’s personality had begun to soften, becoming more composed. It was a significant change from the past.
Perhaps he had met peers even more talented than himself and finally learned how to study and reflect.
Thinking this, Shen Hanqing comforted his own aching heart.
He exhaled softly and pulled out his phone. “Send me your child’s….” WeChat first.
But his words faltered. His gaze froze on a WeChat contact that hadn’t appeared in years.
[Shen Shi]: Are you there?
A pause, then a tentative follow-up:
[Shen Shi]: Dad
Shen Hanqing: “?”
Shen Hanqing: “…Something’s off.”
His instincts from years in business told him not to reply. But Shen Shi seemed to know he had seen the message and continued.
[Shen Shi]: I want the lakeside mansion in Beijing.
[Shen Shi]: How much? I’ll transfer it to you.
Shen Hanqing: “…”
Shen Hanqing: “…………”
“What’s wrong?” Ye Huaishan hadn’t heard what he said earlier. Seeing his expression look strange, he glanced over in confusion. “Drank too much?”
The corner of Shen Hanqing’s eye twitched. He naturally lowered his phone and said expressionlessly, “It’s nothing.”
Unbelievable.
There’s a thief in the family.
