Aristocrat Boys School Chapter 119

Chapter 119 Uproar

<Previous Chapter<Table of Contents>Next Chapter>

The banquet was carried out in an orderly manner. The dazzling crystal chandeliers illuminated the entire venue. All the guests were smiling, and their bright faces and clothes made the banquet harmonious. Jian Chi made an excuse to get snacks, but in reality, he didn’t want to be sandwiched between Ji Huaisi and Shen Shuting. The waiter passed by with alcohol and asked him if he needed it, Jian Chi wanted to refuse, but a hand took a glass of champagne from behind him and said ‘thank you’ in a low voice.

The fluff on the back of Jian Chi’s neck stood up, and without looking back, he already had the urge to walk away, holding a plate of cakes that he hadn’t had time to eat. He silently moved a few steps to the side, Bai Yinian called out to him: “You saw me and wanted to run away?”

“It turned out to be Mr. Bai, what a coincidence,” Jian Chi pretended to be surprised, covering up his sneaking away just now, “I thought it was someone else and didn’t pay attention. I was going to sit down for a while, so I’m sorry. .”

Bai Yinian swayed the champagne, a black mechanical watch was exposed on his slender wrist, and he lowered his head and took a sip, “You still look more pleasing to the eye when you don’t make an expression.”

Jian Chi holding the plate of cake: “…” His acting was in vain.

The lips behind the alcohol glass were indistinctly hooked upward, and when he put down the champagne, Bai Yinian’s expression returned to his usual coldness, “I thought you had seen me a long time ago, when I entered the venue just now, I noticed you at a glance. “

Jian Chi could hear the meaning of Bai Yinian’s words, especially after two kidnappings, the practice of checking the background of these rich people had left a deep shadow on Jian Chi. He always felt that Bai Yinian had long known the entanglement between him and Ji Huaisi, his voice became lower, “Mr. Bai’s eyes are very good.”

“What did you say?”

“Nothing,” Jian Chi said, “I’ll go first.”

Bai Yinian let out a short chuckle that immediately melted into the air, “Do you think I can’t tell you are scolding me?”

Jian Chi couldn’t understand how much Bai Yinnian cared about him when he was trapped in the Bai house, except that Bai Yinnian, who was drunk the night before he left, made some strange actions, but as a drunk person, Jian Chi can barely accept it. Now after a period of time, Jian Chi thought that it was the best to get along with him as a stranger if they met again, but they didn’t have any tacit understanding. Jian Chi didn’t know why he wanted to speak with him.

Bai Yinian could sense he couldn’t wait to leave. He narrowed the distance between him and Jian Chi, and became a little closer than just now. Jian Chi subconsciously looked at Ji Huaisi, who was socializing with people not far away. Just now, he was able to escape successfully thanks to someone who recognized Ji Huaisi, the three of them. After all, if they can’t speak in front of their old mans, it was also good to be familiar with their sons. At this time, the people in front of Ji Huaisi had changed, and Jian Chi was about to step back and open the distance between him and Bai Yinnian, when a low voice seemed to pass through his ears.

“Are you looking at your little boyfriend? Does he know about your relationship with Shen Shuting and Shao Hang?”

Jian Chi resisted the urge to greet Bai Yinnian with the cake, gritted his teeth and whispered, “Why can’t I understand what you’re talking about?”

Bai Yinnian frowned, didn’t answer Jian Chi’s rhetorical question, but said something unrelated.

“I am twenty-seven this year.”

The implication, ‘you’ called him old.

A string of ellipses appeared in Jian Chi’s mind, not knowing what Bai Yinian was thinking about, not to mention that twenty-seven was not too old for a high school student. It was already a great respect that Jian Chi didn’t call him uncle. In fact, at first, Jian Chi did want to call him Uncle Bai Yinnian, but he couldn’t say the words, so he changed it to the more polite and distant ‘Mr. Bai’.

“If nothing happens…”

Staying for one more minute would be a torment for Jian Chi, and there was a risk of Ji Huaisi turning back at any time. Although he had nothing to do with Bai Yinnian, there must be an explanation of the cause and effect at that time. Jian Chi didn’t like this kind of trouble. He took a step back and returned to the normal social range. Seeing that Bai Yinian didn’t stop him and his eyes seemed to look behind him, Jian Chi turned back, and the plate in his hand almost fell to the ground.

Shen Shuting stood not far away and stared at them coldly. His eyes fell on Jian Chi, revealing a gloomy and questioning gaze. Jian Chi thought to himself that he had only said a few words to Bai Yinnian, and didn’t even touch the hem of his clothes.

“He looks very angry,” Bai Yinian’s voice came from behind slowly, “I know a way to make him even more angry, do you think he will come over?”

Jian Chi was vigilant, “What do you want to do? “

As soon as the last word fell, Jian Chi felt a hand on his waist. Bai Yinian walked up to him at some point, and hugged Jian Chi’s waist intimately, while the other hand held champagne. He raised his greetings towards Shen Shuting and curved his lips politely.

Jian Chi’s body froze, and his waist was held tightly by Bai Yinnian. In Shen Shuting’s eyes, it was like a bare provocation, his eyes were dark green, and he strode in the direction of the two.

Jian Chi’s heart was beating fast, and he heard Bai Yinnian whisper in his ear, “Look, this method is very effective.”

Bai Yinian deliberately came to retaliate against him.

Because not only did he not achieve the goal of making Shao Hang suffer, but he also paid his medical bills to wipe his younger brother’s ass. Jian Chi reasonably suspected that Bai Yinnian wanted him to make a fool of himself to relieve his hatred.

Shen Shuting’s reaction was not unexpected at all, he pulled Jian Chi from Bai Yinian’s arms, and the movement caught the attention of the people around him. It was as if Shen Shuting didn’t realize it, he stared at Bai Yinnian with undisguised oppression in his eyes. Before he could speak, the microphone on the stage transmitted a middle-aged man’s voice through the loudspeaker to every corner of the banquet, attracting everyone’s attention.

Jian Chi looked up and looked over.

Fu Zhenhao stood in front of the microphone in neat clothes, and it could be seen that his figure under the suit was still in good shape, but no matter how alert he was, he couldn’t hide his slightly frivolous and old-fashioned face. The unrestrained indulgence in youth was not an emptiness that can be made up for in old age. This was why Jian Chi thought he was Fu Zhenhao at first glance, and it turned out that he was not wrong.

“Thank you for coming to the banquet during your busy schedule. I am here to express my sincere thanks to you on behalf of the Fu family…”

The opening remarks of a series of congratulatory speeches ended, and the audience clapped. Fu Zhenhao received the applause and waited. After the applause gradually dissipated, he cleared his throat, “I know everyone must be curious about the purpose of this banquet. I’m ashamed to say that before I met my wife, I was young and vigorous and owed a lot of stupid debts. In recent years, I couldn’t help but look back on the past, sighing and regretting it. I think everyone made mistakes when they were young, but few people can get the chance to redeem their sins. Now, I have this opportunity. In order to make up for the mistakes I made in the past, I will not have regret my life. After discussing with Minghui, I decided to hold this banquet. I hereby solemnly tell you that from now on, Wen Chuan will be the eldest son of my Fu Zhenhao, a member of the Fu family. He had been wandering abroad for 20 years and now he has finally returned to the Fu family to be reunited with our family. Wen Chuan, do you want to come up and say a few words?”

Hsi voice fell, and the audience was in an uproar.

There were only a few people who knew the inside story. When Fu Zhenhao dropped the bomb that ignited the lead, everyone was shocked. What they were surprised was not that Fu Zhenhao had an illegitimate child – it was completely unimportant for people like them. What they were surprised was that this illegitimate child was so solemnly introduced to everyone by Fu Zhenhao, and it was more subtle that the title was ‘Wen’ instead of ‘Fu’. There was already a faint hunch that the Fu family’s stock market will experience ups and downs after tonight, and the position of the Fu family’s next heir will become more and more intriguing.

However, Jian Chi felt disgusted by Fu Zhenhao’s speech just now. Saying his corrupt private life was a mistake of youthful arrogance, to leave a son who had been left out for 20 years, if he listened to the whole thing without thinking, he would really be moved by Fu Zhenhao’s sincere attitude, but Jian Chi clearly saw that Fu Zhenhao avoided the important matters, and his own responsibility was minimized, almost to nothing. He simply brought everyone’s attention to the touching ‘family reunion’, picking it off cleanly.

The palms gradually subsided after the climax, it was only until there was silence did they realize Wen Chuan not coming to the stage. Many people whispered, all of them couldn’t hold back their excitement to see the new eldest son. Fu Zhenhao, who was on the stage, seemed to be looking at his watch with a sullen face. There was a sudden commotion among the guests. In the direction of the noise, a tall and slender figure walked to the center of the stage from among the guests who automatically opened up a road. When Wen Chuan stood beside Fu Zhenhao, everyone couldn’t help holding their breath.

Their reaction was the same as when Jian Chi saw Wen Chuan for the first time.

Wen Chuan was wearing a pure black suit, buttoned to the top showing his Adam’s apple. The long hair was tied behind the head, and his facial features that were fixed up revealed a more thrilling and intuitive beauty. No one would confuse him with a woman. The heroic spirit in his eyes and the cold feeling of refusing others made people clearly understand his identity, but this recognition not only did not weaken the surprise, but even made people unable to look away, as if he was a complex combination of danger and beauty. Without one of them, he would not have such a great charm.

In the silence of the audience, Wen Chuan came to the microphone, the loudspeaker caught his breath, and the deep voice was amplified a hundred times and flowed into everyone’s ears. It was undoubtedly a double feast for sight and ears. Only Jian Chi could hardly focus on Wen Chuan’s grand appearance, his heart couldn’t help beating fast, because he was nervous, because Wen Chuan was about to say something. Shen Shuting seemed to feel Jian Chi’s strangeness, and the hand pinching his wrist increased in strength.

“My name is Wen Chuan.”

This was Wen Chuan’s first sentence. After he finished speaking, he circled the entire banquet hall until he landed on Jian Chi next to Shen Shuting, sending through a small wave for a moment.

“Fu Zhenhao is right. He owes a stupid debt and is sorry to both me and my mother. Now, he wants to make up for the mistakes he made when he was young, so I’m standing here.” Without taking Fu Zhenhao’s face into consideration, some words were self-deprecating. Fu Zhenhao’s originally satisfied face instantly turned ugly.

And more people noticed that the emotionless ‘Fu Zhenhao’ in Wen Chuan’s phrasing was not ‘father’, let alone a polite and respectful ‘Mr. Fu’.

Something seems wrong?

Jian Chi was also stunned.

Wen Chuan looked into his eyes deeply, opened his mouth for the third time, and transmitted every word to everyone’s ears through a loudspeaker.

“But he said the last sentence wrong. I won’t go back to the Fu house, let alone be his son. My surname is Wen, and I will never become Fu.”

  3. Csycrus says:

This is a novel setting so this is cool and badass but if he actually does something like this, his career and future options are basically done for. It’d be a miracle if he could even earn minimum wage. But this is a feel-good type of plot so it’ll work out, I’m sure.
