It turned out that every piece of temper snow stone here was stained with the blood of Helian Rongchuan’s mother.

Helian Rongchuan continued: “Later, my Royal Father enthroned for a long time, needed to send a prince to Nanyao to be a hostage in order to keep his Kingdom blessed. But there was only one prince on my father’s side, thus he was naturally reluctant. So It suddenly occurred to him that in the foothills of Mount Qixia, he had a son who was just right for the job. That son was me.”

“He didn’t expect that although I was poor at the time, I was unwilling to leave Qixia Mountain. I did not want to leave the cave. Until they agreed to one condition.”

“The condition was to seal the cave where my mother was, and no longer dig the temper snow stones in this cave to protect my mother’s bones under the boulder. But he has changed his mind about this a while ago.”

Helian Rongchuan’s eyes had a hint of bitterness flash by quickly:

“In the past few years, my so-called Royal Father has been wholeheartedly trying to build a Xiuxian platform with gold pillars and white jade beams. Where does the money come from? From selling the stones. The temper snow stones in Dongyun Mountain are almost all sold, but it is still not enough. So he thought of the cave that was sealed away and not yet mined.”

Yan Changqing looked at the black boulders piled up in the middle of the deep pit. In fact, he knew very well in his heart that Helian’s robbery of the ship must not have been done by him alone. Therefore, the whole thing was not done just for the sake of robbing the ships. But now that he has come to understand a lot of things, he was no longer able to take away the temper snow stones covered with blood and tears.

Helian Rongchuan slowly removed the sabre around his waist and handed it to Yan Changqing.

“I’m sorry about the Hundred Cliff Stronghold and the Jiaolu river incident. I had said I will give you an opportunity. This moment, right now, is the opportunity.”

It was a very beautiful scimitar with diamonds and a purple pattern on the handle. The crystal was inlaid in the shape of a gorgeous eagle piercing a cloud pattern. Yan Changqing still remembered when he saw this knife for the first time: him better off dead at that moment than insulted by that unhinged Nanyao person.

Yan Changqing raised his eyebrows: “Do you think I wouldn’t dare?”

The scimitar was unsheathed, and the sharp edge reflected Yan Changqing’s eyes which were as cold as winter snow.

It was a touching story.

Helian Rongchuan smiled lightly, unbuttoned his shirt, and revealed his chest: “I know you dare. So, come.”

Yan Changqing looked at him coldly.

It didn’t matter how strong he was, as long as he stabbed his heart, it would only take one try.

A flash of silver.

The sharp blade plunged into Helian Rongchuan’s chest. Blood flowed down the spine of the knife down Yan Changqing’s fingers. As long as one didn’t look carefully, one wouldn’t be able to see that the hand holding the knife was shaking just a little.

Helian Rongchuan didn’t blink, and he also didn’t call out in pain. There was still a smile at the corner of his mouth.

“Isn’t Master Yan’s knife very powerful? Why didn’t you get it right when you were so close?”

Yan Changqing looked down. The scimitar he held was just two inches above the heart, and close to the collarbone. He was only touching the tip of the knife to Helian Rongchuan’s chest, with not even enough force behind it.

Yan Changqing’s heart skipped a beat. Yeah, why didn’t he get it right?

His right hand was suddenly covered by Helian Rongchuan, and two hands were now holding the handle of the knife together. This time, the tip of the knife was aimed at the heart.

Helian Rongchuan took a sudden step forward, and the sharp blade was about to pierce in.

Yan Changqing’s pupils shrank sharply, and he felt as if the blood in his whole body solidified in an instant. In an instant, he used all of his strength and pulled the scimitar backwards!

Cang!

When the scimitar landed on the ground, Yan Changqing staggered, panting violently. He rushed up to give Helian Rongchuan a firm punch.

“Are you crazy?!” He didn’t even realize it, but his voice was almost a snarl.

However, as soon as he shot out, his wrist was tightly grasped by Helian Rongchuan.

“I am crazy.” Helian Rongchuan smiled and looked at Yan Changqing, his dark brown eyes were full of joy and tenderness: “Before I met you, I never thought I would fall in love with a man and that man would be the general of the neighbouring country.”

Yan Changqing’s eyes widened. He felt his heart beat violently, it almost jumped out of his mouth.

Is this… a confession?

Helian Rongchuan’s fingers affectionately squeezed Yan Changqing’s ear tips which turned red, and he smiled softly: “Master Yan is shy.”

Before Yan Changqing could answer, Helian Rongchuan lowered his head and kissed him.

The kiss was tender and a bit domineering. Helian Rongchuan’s tongue drove straight in, sweeping past Yan Changqing’s teeth and invading his soft mouth. A warm and ambiguous breath, like a fluttering feather, comforted his tight nerves. Yan Changqing’s brain blanked out completely for a moment, and it took him a long time to react. He was anxious and angry. He lifted his right elbow against Helian Rongchuan’s chest and pushed him away hissing in pain.

“It hurts.”

Helian Rongchuan frowned and his face was a little pale as if Yan Changqing’s push on him touched his fresh wound.

Why didn’t he call out in pain earlier?

Yan Changqing didn’t dare to push against him again. But Helian Rongchuan given an inch took a mile. He backed Yan Changqing up to the stone wall successfully cornering him.

“You– ?!”

Helian Rongchuan looked down at Yan Changqing’s angry and embarrassed face. The corners of his mouth couldn’t help but lift in a smile. His General Yan had the coldest temper and the softest heart.

The shallow stabbing of the knife just now was not painful to him, but rather sweet.

His Yan Changqing couldn’t bear to see him die.

“I’m sorry, Changqing. From now on, I will never deceive you again.”

Yan Changqing turned his head away and snorted coldly.

“In addition—” Helian Rongchuan didn’t finish the sentence, deliberately prolonging the ending. He didn’t speak the second half of it for a long time.

Feeling a warm breath lingering around his neck, Yan Changqing couldn’t bear it anymore. Frowning, he said, “What else?”

“Also–General Yan is so sweet.” As soon as the voice fell, Helian Rongchuan gently kissed Yan Chang’s beautiful and slender neck.

In the extremely narrow corner, he couldn’t move at all. His pronounced Adam’s apple was gently licked, and Yan Changqing only felt himself shiver uncontrollably.
