Chapter 105

Lou Yan slept heavily, and when Li Sanxin knocked on the door to wake him up, he almost didn’t realize he was in the amusement park, thinking he was in his new villa.
“Yanzi, my boy,” Li Sanxin’s voice was lazy and deep after being well-rested, “Wake up, let’s brush our teeth and wash our faces, and then have a meal.”
Lou Yan rubbed his hair, yawned, got up, and opened the door. Li Sanxin also changed into the prison uniform. The shoulders and pant legs of the prison uniform were sewn with crooked white lines. Li Sanxin pointed to these two white lines, proudly saying, “I sewed them, how does it look?”
“Ugly,” Lou Yan gave him a disdainful look, tugged at his sleeve, and said, “The sewing is quite strong. How did these clothes get damaged?”
Li Sanxin put the clown mask in his hand on his face and compared it, “The hunter who wears this clown mask died, his arms and legs were torn off, and the clothes needed to be sewn before they can be worn.”
Lou Yan pulled hard again, and Li Sanxin quickly shook off his hand and jumped away, “Hey, hey, don’t pull so hard, what if you tear it? It took me an hour to sew it so well.”
Lou Yan sneered, “Weak.”
The two put on their masks and walked to the sink together. There were not many people along the way. Even if there were a few prisoners passing by occasionally, they would run away in fear when they saw them.
Li Sanxin sighed, “It feels great to be a hunter…”
When they arrived at the sink, they saw Lin You brushing his teeth. Lin You’s posture was straight, and he waved to them.
Lou Yan blinked, waved back, and almost thought he had seen a real prison guard.
Lin You looked upright and straight. He was more suitable to wear this prison guard uniform than anyone else. Others looked fake, but he looked more real than a real pigheaded prison guard.
There was a basket of disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste prepared, which was considerate. Li Sanxin stood next to Lou Yan brushing his teeth and suddenly remembered something. With his toothbrush in his mouth, he said, “Yanzi, if we kill the hunters and change into their clothes, will the anomalies see us? This is an amusement park, there should be anomalies watching us all the time, right?”
Lou Yan paused while brushing his teeth, spit out the foam, and remembered what the anomaly said when Fu Xuezhou tore his clothes on the high wall.
He rinsed his mouth with water and said, “The anomalies won’t watch this floor.”
Li Sanxin raised an eyebrow, “Are you sure?”
Lou Yan said, “Yes, I’m sure.”
Lou Yan didn’t know the movements of the anomalies, but he knew that if the anomalies were really watching this floor, Fu Xuezhou wouldn’t do those things to him in the bathroom.
Putting aside Fu Xuezhou’s possessiveness towards him, Fu Xuezhou himself wouldn’t want to make himself a tool for the anomalies to watch.
Lou Yan said, “Even if those anomalies can see us, so what? Since we’ve successfully changed, it means we can change. Prisoners turning into hunters, hunters turning into prisoners, such a good show, they will only like to see it.”
After Lin You finished brushing his teeth, he stood aside waiting for them. The three of them washed their faces, put on their masks, and walked cleanly to the restaurant.
Ye Buyan was eating in the restaurant. He hadn’t changed into a prison uniform yet, and his figure was still that of a normal teenage boy. There was only him sitting at the table in the whole restaurant. Lou Yan walked over and asked strangely, “Why didn’t I see anyone else?”
“They’re all gone. They left a few hours ago,” Ye Buyan frowned, concentrating on picking out the peppers from his dish and putting them on another empty plate, “Most of the prisoners have already left. They’re worried that the remaining floors will have the same situation as the second floor, and the later they go, the harder it will be.”
Lou Yan sighed, “What a pity…”
Ye Buyan looked up at him, puzzled, “What a pity?”
“They left too quickly,” Lou Yan took the plain noddles and egg handed over by Li Sanxin, and said casually, “I was thinking, we could gather all the prisoners together and escort them through the levels.”
Ye Buyan had never thought that there was such a possibility, and was stunned for a few seconds, then looked at Lou Yan with respect.
Li Sanxin sat down beside Lou Yan, pulled out a chair, and put a glass of milk beside Lou Yan’s hand. He also picked up a glass and took a sip. He caught a glimpse of Ye Buyan’s expression across the table, and suddenly choked on the milk, “Cough, cough, cough…”
He leaned over to Lou Yan’s ear and whispered, “Why is little classmate Ye looking at you like he’s looking at a hero?”
Lou Yan glanced at Ye Buyan, smiled casually, “He probably thinks I’m some kind of great hero.”
But Lou Yan wasn’t a great hero. He just wanted to try to bring all the prisoners to the eighth floor since they were all humans.
However, Lou Yan also knew that things wouldn’t be so simple. The anomalies in the amusement park wouldn’t want to see them all safely pass through the levels together.
If their hunters really stood on the same front as the prisoners, Lou Yan thought the anomalies would immediately take countermeasures. Either find a way to sow discord, or remove the protection of their hunter identities. But these were just Lou Yan’s speculations. Even if he knew there was probably no way to bring everyone through the levels, he still wanted to try.
But they were all too tired, which led to sleeping straight through until now, completely missing the time when other prisoners had made a move.
Lou Yan didn’t fuss about it. After quickly finishing their meal, the four of them accompanied Ye Buyan to change clothes, and they came to a closed door.
Upon opening the door, they saw two half-dead hunters lying inside.
The little girl was in a coma with bleeding from five orifices, and the middle-aged man was covered in wounds, with more output of air than input. When they heard movement, the middle-aged man turned his eyes cautiously and saw Lou Yan and the others, immediately trembling with fear and moving backward.
Lin You went in and picked up the little girl, holding her between his arms, and put the middle-aged man on his shoulder, carrying both of them out of the room.
The middle-aged man begged timidly, “Please spare me… I-I’m not a hunter anymore. I promise, I won’t tell anyone that you’re fake hunters…”
Li Sanxin chuckled, hugged the middle-aged man’s head and slapped him, “Speak up. If you dare to tell anyone that we are fake hunters, you’ll be the first one to die.”
Without the protection of their hunter identity, they would not only be killed by anomalies but also face retaliation from the prisoners. They had committed too many sins before. If any prisoner knew they were the real hunters, they would rush to kill them first.
The middle-aged man lowered his head in fear, unable to speak.
They walked out of the rest area and came to the lobby, where the magnificent hall revealed stairs leading to the upper floor. Lou Yan took the lead, Lin You followed with the two hunters, Ye Buyan followed, and Li Sanxin guarded the rear.
After about five minutes of walking, they arrived at the sixth floor.
The sixth floor was dark, and nothing could be seen clearly. Lou Yan opened his lighter and shone it around. The darkness swallowed the light of the lighter like a tide, but with the remaining faint light, they could still see the twisted and distorted paintings hanging on the walls in the darkness.
At the moment when he saw the paintings, Lou Yan smelled a faint smell of paint, realizing that this floor was originally an art gallery.
Lou Yan’s gaze swept around, and he saw the nearest painting to them slowly changing patterns. Bloody words appeared: “Hunter Passage.”
Below the words, there was a simple map showing the route and method to leave this floor.
Li Sanxin and the others also saw these sudden words and drawings. Lin You murmured, “Is this the benefit of being a hunter?”
The walkthrough was directly delivered to their hands.
After confirming that they had seen the words and drawings, these bloody words and drawings turned back into strange paintings. Lou Yan sighed twice and said to Lin You, “Lin You, put down the two hunters you’re carrying.”
Lin You threw the two hunters roughly on the ground, and Lou Yan took out his spinal whip to kill them, but Lin You stopped him, “I’ll do it.”
Lin You took out a dagger he had taken from the hunters and approached the middle-aged man and the little girl with a solemn expression.
The middle-aged man made a sobbing sound from his throat, “Don’t kill me, please don’t kill me…”
Lin You squatted in front of the middle-aged man, silently reciting the middle-aged man’s information, “Real name Zhou Yuan, codenamed Old Zhou, has a dual personality. Committed crimes for ten years, charged with human trafficking and production and sale of counterfeit drugs. Your crimes are enough to warrant the death penalty.”
The middle-aged man shrank his neck in fear, looking at him with some shock, “Who are you? Are you a police…”
Lin You then looked at the little girl, “Liu Jin, you’ve taken twenty-four lives. You enjoy killing children younger than yourself. You’ve also engaged in organ trafficking. Your crimes are also punishable by death.”
The little girl was unconscious and couldn’t respond to his words.
Lin You was silent for a while and said, “I can’t take you back to be judged by the law. At this special time, I’ll deal with you here.”
He raised the dagger, and the tip of the dagger reflected the orange light from the lighter. Lin You decisively slashed their necks, and the breath of the middle-aged man and the little girl became weaker and weaker until they disappeared.
Lin You reached out to check their breath and pulse, and when he confirmed that they were dead, he stood up and prepared to leave.
But as he took a step, Lin You heard a sound of flesh being torn. He looked down and saw the flesh of the middle-aged man being torn apart, and a black snake with dozens of heads crawled out of the crack.
The black snake made strange human-like cries, its crimson eyes greedily staring at Lin You, slowly crawling out of the middle-aged man’s body.
But before it could crawl out, a whip struck it, splitting its body in half from its position. The black snake screamed twice, struggling on the ground for a few times, and gradually stopped breathing.
Lou Yan walked over and said, “Be careful, this person has merged with an anomaly. Fortunately, this anomaly hasn’t fully recovered yet and is still very weak.”
Lin You nodded, smiled at him, and thanked him sincerely, “Thank you.”
Lou Yan waved his hand and walked forward to lift up the lower half of the black snake, which was still hidden in the middle-aged man’s body. Surprisingly, the lower half of the black snake’s body was like a fish tail, with large fins on top. Below the fins was a green heart still beating.
It turned out that this anomaly hadn’t completely died yet.
Lou Yan used the sharp end of the spinal whip to pierce the green heart. Immediately, the green, fishy-smelling blood flowed out from the heart, and half a minute later, the heart turned gray and stopped beating.
This time it was truly dead.
Lou Yan put away the spinal whip, took off the dirty gloves, and threw them aside, “Let’s go.”
The four of them successfully left the sixth floor following the previous instructions. However, as if the anomalies deliberately made them avoid other prisoners so that they couldn’t help them, they didn’t encounter any other prisoners on the entire sixth floor.
The same was true after they reached the seventh floor. Without any twists or turns along the way, they smoothly left the seventh floor and came to the elevator leading to the eighth floor.
And here, they saw a familiar figure.
Wearing a purple dress, with evil eye makeup, a tall black hat, and spiders crawling on his face. Shadow Reaper leaned on a gentleman’s cane, waiting elegantly in front of the elevator. When he saw them coming, he showed an exaggerated yet enthusiastic smile, “Oh, my dear guests, congratulations, you are the first batch of people to arrive here.”
He smiled and looked at the four of them one by one. From Lou Yan to Ye Buyan, he circled around them like a theater actor, showering them with ambiguous praises, “You guys are amazing! You’ve walked this path so brilliantly! We’ve enjoyed watching it so much! Especially you, my dear sir.”
Shadow Reaper stood in front of Lou Yan, who was wearing a blank mask. He reached out to touch the mask on Lou Yan’s face, squinting his eyes fascinatedly, his tone intoxicated, and his smile growing bigger and bigger, “You truly captivate and impress me, my dear… Mr. Lou Yan.”
