Chapter 188

When Lou Yan asked this question, his mood was complex, but after asking, he strangely calmed down.
Considering that Fu Xuezhou had just killed the Anomaly Lord and protected him, he was willing to give Fu Xuezhou a chance to explain.
Come on, let him hear it, what “difficulties” Fu Xuezhou had, that forced him to destroy the world again and again.
Lou Yan thought somewhat sarcastically to himself.
But he didn’t expect that, as he was so calmly preparing to talk to Fu Xuezhou about this issue, and even started to consider whether he would still kill Fu Xuezhou, who was so heavily burdened with the issue if Fu Xuezhou really had some difficulties, Fu Xuezhou would say a few words that made him furious: “Not necessarily.”
Not necessarily?!
What does “not necessarily” mean?!
Lou Yan felt a surge of anger rising, and he sneered twice, turning his head to stare at Fu Xuezhou’s profile. “Fu Xuezhou, what do you mean? Are you saying that even if the Anomaly Lord is dead, you might still destroy the world again?”
“It’s too late to start over,” Fu Xuezhou turned his head to meet Lou Yan’s gaze, his pale and handsome face hidden in the swaying shadows of the trees, appearing dimly but clearly outlined in the darkness, his jawline cold and indifferent. Fu Xuezhou even smirked, “This is my last chance to start over.”
Lou Yan couldn’t bear it any longer. He suddenly sat up on Fu Xuezhou’s lap, grabbed Fu Xuezhou’s collar with both hands, and his veins bulged on his hands and forehead, roaring angrily, “Since this is your f*cking last chance, why the h*ll did you say ‘not necessarily’ to me?!”
Fu Xuezhou lifted his eyelids to look at Lou Yan, a hint of confusion in his eyes, seemingly puzzled as to why Lou Yan was so angry. “It’s just ‘not necessarily,’ I didn’t say I definitely want to destroy the world.”
Lou Yan was about to explode with anger, and his murderous intent towards Fu Xuezhou skyrocketed instantly. He forcefully pulled Fu Xuezhou’s face close to his own, temples throbbing with intensity. “Fu Xuezhou, you explain to me clearly! Did you destroy the world before to kill the Anomaly Lord?”
Fu Xuezhou was uncomfortable being pulled by Lou Yan. He casually held Lou Yan’s hand and lowered it, saying, “Yes.”
“Then since the Anomaly Lord is f*cking dead,” Lou Yan’s eyes were bloodshot with anger, his fingers trembling as he repeatedly emphasized the point he cared most about, “do you still have the d*mn possibility of destroying the world? And this time, if you destroy the world, there won’t be another chance to start over!”
After contemplating for a moment, Fu Xuezhou nodded slowly. “That’s right.”
Lou Yan’s fist slammed into Fu Xuezhou’s face.
Fu Xuezhou was hit hard, his mouth corner bleeding from a cut. He wiped the blood off with his fingers and looked up at Lou Yan with resignation. “Why are you so angry?”
Lou Yan lowered his head, his slightly long black curls covering his brows and eyes, casting a shadow over half of his face. Suddenly, he smirked a few times, releasing his grip on Fu Xuezhou’s collar and speaking coldly, “So the Anomaly Lord we just killed was fake?”
“If nothing unexpected happens, it is the real Anomaly Lord,” Fu Xuezhou calmly denied Lou Yan’s guess. “Its anomaly power is very strong, and only the Anomaly Lord can create a city like the Paradise.”
“So it’s real,” Lou Yan’s tone was anomaly, and his eyes under his black hair became colder and colder. He spoke in a light and dreamy tone, tinged with mockery, “I thought it was fake. I didn’t expect that I misunderstood it.”
Lou Yan lowered his gaze, looking at Fu Xuezhou beneath him. He stared deeply into Fu Xuezhou’s eyes, trying to see through the mind of this heartless monster, to understand how he could utter such absurd words, words that made Lou Yan want to kill him a thousand times over.
“Fu Xuezhou,” Lou Yan stiffly pronounced Fu Xuezhou’s name, his expression devoid of emotion. “You said you might not destroy the world. What circumstances would turn your ‘might not’ into reality?”
Fu Xuezhou raised his hand and touched the side of Lou Yan’s face. Lou Yan didn’t flinch, just coldly stared at Fu Xuezhou.
Fu Xuezhou’s fingers were long and distinct, his palm resting on Lou Yan’s chin, his fingertips able to touch Lou Yan’s eyes. He moved slowly and gently over Lou Yan’s eyes and eyebrows, brushing against Lou Yan’s dense eyelashes.
Lou Yan’s eyes were tickled by the touch, his eyelashes fluttering, brushing lightly against Fu Xuezhou’s fingers.
Finally, Fu Xuezhou reached the corner of Lou Yan’s eye. “When I’m bored.”
Lou Yan’s heart sank, as if a huge stone had dropped into an abyss. Through the tips of Fu Xuezhou’s fingers, he looked at this foreign person with silver hair. “When you… are bored…”
“Yeah,” Fu Xuezhou casually nodded. Lou Yan watched in disbelief as Fu Xuezhou calmly and indifferently uttered the most terrifying thought he had ever imagined, “The Anomaly Lord was the strongest anomaly in this world. In order to kill it, there have been 291 cycles of reincarnation. But now that it’s dead, the days ahead will become very dull. When I feel bored with this world, it no longer needs to exist.”
The most nauseating and terrifying statement had become a reality.
Lou Yan’s fingernails pierced the flesh of his palm, and he felt like he was plummeting into an abyss without a bottom.
In the beginning of his rebirth, he had wondered why Fu Xuezhou insisted on burning all humans alive when they were close to successfully ending the resurgence of anomalies. He had thought of many reasons, and reluctantly added a few “unavoidable” reasons to Fu Xuezhou’s “forced” actions.
But now, the fact proved that Fu Xuezhou would do so simply because he found it amusing, entertaining, simply because he could avoid being bored.
To him, this place was a huge playground.
Destroying the world was solely based on his personal preferences.
…
“Fu Xuezhou.”
Lou Yan suddenly asked, “Once Paradise completely collapses, can we leave?”
Fu Xuezhou nodded, then Lou Yan had a sudden idea. “Do you know how much time is left until the collapse of Paradise?”
Fu Xuezhou glanced around at the surrounding city, then listened for a moment before speaking, “40 minutes.”
“40 minutes, huh,” Lou Yan repeated, suddenly laughing. He reached up to undo the buttons of his collar, saying casually, “That should be enough.”
As he swiftly removed his clothes, relaxing his tense and rigid body, Lou Yan grinned at the silver-haired man who was watching him intently. “Let’s do it, Fu Xuezhou.”
Do it one last time, Fu Xuezhou.
“Here?” Fu Xuezhou blinked, surprised.
“Yeah, right here,” Lou Yan tilted his head, his long neck emitting a radiant glow under the moonlight. He turned around and tossed his discarded clothes aside, his back revealing curves from his shoulder blades to his waist. “We’ve never done it outdoors before. I heard it’s quite thrilling. Don’t you want to give it a try?”
The faint ghost marriage tattoo on Lou Yan’s back flashed in Fu Xuezhou’s eyes, but soon, Lou Yan turned around to face Fu Xuezhou. With one hand undoing his belt and the other casually brushing back the stray black strands from his forehead, revealing a smooth and fair forehead. Lou Yan smiled lazily, his lips seductive, “There won’t be Paradise anymore. Making love here would be quite commemorative, don’t you think?”
Fu Xuezhou’s gaze intensified as he looked at Lou Yan, but he made no move. “I’m injured.”
“Don’t tell me it hurts there, Fu Xuezhou,” Lou Yan leaned down, whispering in Fu Xuezhou’s ear, “It was pressing against me since I first flipped over onto you.”
Fu Xuezhou closed his eyes, his Adam’s apple rolling. A few seconds later, he suddenly grabbed Lou Yan’s chin and forcefully brought his face closer, pressing his lips against Lou Yan’s.
Lou Yan always easily aroused Fu Xuezhou’s desires.
Fu Xuezhou could never resist the temptation Lou Yan brought, especially in his anomaly state.
All his desires, obsession, focus, possessiveness, and the sinister desire for control were fully manifested in this kiss.
Lou Yan closed his eyes and passionately responded to Fu Xuezhou’s kiss. After a moment, he even bit Fu Xuezhou’s lips and tongue more fiercely, the invisible aggression seamlessly blending into the taste of blood.
In the distance, the fire raged on, and the walls crumbled.
The moonlight couldn’t penetrate the trees, blocked by the lush branches and leaves. Underneath the trees, the two people seemed like the most loving couple in this collapsing world, embracing each other tightly amidst the roaring wind, the flickering shadows, and the dancing sparks.
