At 7:20 in the morning, Lou Yan struggled to get up and drove his boyfriend to school.

The noisy chatter annoyed Fu Xuezhou. He restrained the faint smile on his face and calmly looked around at his classmates with his serene, pitch-black eyes. The surrounding students felt as if their necks were being squeezed, and they nervously took two steps back, their voices abruptly silenced.

Only then did Fu Xuezhou calmly speak, “He is my boyfriend.”

On the way, Fu Xuezhou opened the paper bag and found a bag of candies and a stack of bills inside.
A smile slowly spread across Fu Xuezhou’s eyes as he picked up one of the candies and casually put a green one into his mouth.
The sweet and sour taste of green plum filled his tongue.
Fu Xuezhou pushed the candy to the right side of his cheek with his tongue, looked up at the clear sky, and watched the bustling teaching building. A heart that had been drifting for who knows how many years suddenly settled down.
He wasn’t alone.

After a busy hour back at the company, Lou Yan finally had time to check his phone, only to find a friend request from an unfamiliar person on WeChat.
With a glance at the profile picture and the nickname, Lou Yan knew it was Fu Xuezhou. He agreed and casually typed a line: [Got your phone?]
He thought Fu Xuezhou would be in class and wouldn’t reply immediately. But to his surprise, seconds later, Fu Xuezhou leisurely sent a message.
[。: Mmm. Are you at the company now?]
[Lou’s Chief Lou : I arrived a while ago. But are you playing with your phone in class right now?]
[。: Can’t understand the class.]
Lou Yan clicked his tongue: [What don’t you understand? Show it to me.]
