She suddenly became so proactive, which surprised Yuwen Chu somewhat. He smiled softly and said in a low voice, “Are you serious?”
If you’re going to do it, do it thoroughly, or else don’t get married. Mingzhu smiled enchantingly, hanging on his neck with a feigned grievance, “I swear by heaven and earth. You actually don’t believe me?”
Yuwen Chu lowered his eyes and silently watched her, a smile still lingering at the corner of his lips, but the faint sparkle in his eyes gradually dimmed. Mingzhu instinctively felt that she had somehow upset him again, but after thinking it over carefully, she couldn’t understand why. This made her a bit angry.
She couldn’t pretend to be affectionate, but he could? Did he prefer her to give him the cold shoulder instead of being affectionate and saying nice things to him?
Feeling embarrassed and frustrated after trying so hard to please him and not getting the desired response, Mingzhu felt a mixture of awkwardness and resentment. She reached out and poked his face, saying, “You just said you were happy a moment ago, why the sudden change of heart? Your Highness is really difficult to please.”
“Do you know that I’m not happy?” Yuwen Chu smiled, showing his white teeth, giving off a feeling of gnashing his teeth.
Mingzhu said half-truthfully, “How could I not know? The Momo came to teach etiquette that day and said that a husband should be revered as heaven. Moreover, with your noble status, we are husband and wife in bed, but master and servant under the bed. In the future, I will have to live according to your mood. If I don’t know whether you are happy or angry, how can I live?”
Before she could finish her words, she was pushed down onto the bed by Yuwen Chu in one fell swoop. Her heart began to beat violently again, almost bursting out of her throat. The smile on her face could no longer be maintained, and she could only panic and swallow her saliva. Seeing that her clothes were disheveled, she hurriedly tried to cover them up.
Yuwen Chu bent down, staring into her eyes, and said in a deep voice, “Since you know, why not please this prince?”
Mingzhu stared at him for a moment, suddenly feeling angry, and pushed him hard, scolding, “We are equal as husband and wife. I’m not here to be your servant. Why should I please you? Why don’t you try to please me?”
“Well said. Anything else?” Yuwen Chu still smiled, but Mingzhu felt a sense of oppression and couldn’t bear it. She swallowed her saliva and tried to remedy, “Shouldn’t this kind of thing be mutual? If a man wants to gain benefits, he should please the woman. When the woman is happy, everyone is happy. Ignoring the other’s feelings and only thinking about oneself is despicable…”
At this point, Mingzhu didn’t have the courage to continue. She turned over in bed, feeling somewhat guilty, and said with a forced smile, “Forget it, you wouldn’t understand even if I told you.”
Yuwen Chu laughed and reached out to hold her shoulder, gently turning her over to face him. “Who says I don’t understand? I just don’t know what you’re thinking. Since you’ve said it clearly, how do you want me to please you?”
Mingzhu suddenly felt a tingling sensation in her scalp, feeling like she had dug a pit for herself to jump into. Unable to help licking her lips lightly, her voice was almost inaudible, “How would I know? I’m not a bad person like you.”
“Well, Your Highness is indeed not as bad as I am. Then let’s try slowly. There must be a way you like.” Yuwen Chu’s voice became hoarse, and Mingzhu felt a slight chill on her abdomen as he lifted her outer robe. She couldn’t help but tremble. “Shh… don’t be afraid.” Yuwen Chu covered her with his body, gently kissing her lips, not deep, just gently and slowly kissing her inch by inch, from her lips to her cheeks, then to her eyes and forehead.
Trembling, Mingzhu could feel his maximum tenderness and patience, but she still couldn’t help but feel afraid. Quiet as it was, she could hear his breathing becoming more and more irregular. She closed her eyes and tremblingly found his belt, gently undoing it.
That’s how it is. If he treats her gently, then she must also treat him gently. Setting aside emotions, if he doesn’t disappoint her, then she cannot disappoint him either. This way, even if he cannot make use of her, she has still made an effort.
Yuwen Chu sighed softly, cupping her face in his hands and murmuring, “Look at me.”
Mingzhu gritted her teeth and looked at him, once again seeing the dazzling starlight in his eyes. She couldn’t deceive herself. Yuwen Chu was so handsome, without the childishness of a boy and not yet weathered by time. What he had was the dazzling brilliance of a young and heroic man in his prime.
Mingzhu caressed his face, feeling that at least in this moment, Yuwen Chu liked her. She took the initiative to lean in, gently kissing Yuwen Chu’s lips. Then a thought popped into her mind: “It’s hot.”
Yuwen Chu’s eyes shimmered, and he took a deep breath, decisively holding Mingzhu’s head and kissing her deeply. His movements were somewhat rough and urgent, like a storm, leaving Mingzhu no room to evade. For a moment, Mingzhu felt like she was almost suffocating, on the verge of fainting. Unconsciously, she grabbed his arm tightly, her chest heaving violently, as if drowning, wanting to push him away but gripping him tighter instead.
Yuwen Chu silently stared into her eyes, lightly biting her lips whenever she tried to close her eyes due to embarrassment or dizziness, and commanding, “Look at me.”
Look at me, remember who I am.
Mingzhu didn’t hear the rest of his words, but this phrase inexplicably floated into her mind. She thought, perhaps this was a man’s possessiveness, right? However, as she drifted off for a moment, she felt a sharp pain on her shoulder, making her gasp, “You hurt me.”
Yuwen Chu stared at her with slightly reddened eyes. “No losing focus allowed.” Perhaps feeling that his expression was too serious, he quickly smiled, “Otherwise, do you find my efforts to please you insufficient? I’ll try harder. If you like it, remember to let me know.”
He leaned down to gently suckle on her chest, and Mingzhu felt as if a heavy hammer had struck her heart, making her want to scream. But before she could scream, she was attacked from another side.
Yuwen Chu lifted his head and looked at her with sparkling eyes. “Do you like it?”
Mingzhu felt both embarrassed and annoyed. “Shameless!”
Yuwen Chu chuckled. “I heard that when a woman curses a man as shameless, she actually prefers men who are even more shameless. Is that true?”
“Who told you such nonsense!” Mingzhu bit her teeth and pinched him, resentfully saying, “You shameless rogue! I like gentlemen!”
“So fierce.” Yuwen Chu sighed theatrically, then suddenly licked Mingzhu’s earlobe. Startled, Mingzhu jumped up, wanting to escape. Yuwen Chu grabbed her ankle and pulled her towards him, chuckling softly, “So it’s here.”
Mingzhu felt very afraid, extremely afraid, not because she was afraid he would harm or hurt her, but because she felt that something big was about to happen. Perhaps it was because her opponent was too cunning and sinister. She didn’t mind him touching her, and there was even some anticipation and excitement. She hadn’t forgotten what she was here for. She wanted him to need her, not the other way around. If she started fantasizing about him and needing him, she would already be at a disadvantage.
