Mingzhu grabbed Yuwen Chu’s sleeve tightly, her voice barely audible, “You treat me well, and I’ll treat you well too. Although I’m sick and can’t serve you, I still have hands…” After saying this, she felt herself blush all over, feeling embarrassed, and buried her face in the blanket, wishing she had never said that.
Just as she was about to suffocate, she heard Yuwen Chu chuckle softly, the laughter gradually getting louder, and his whole body shook with laughter. Mingzhu, embarrassed and angry, pulled the blanket over her head, turned her back, and crawled deeper under the covers like a dog ignoring its tail.
The more she crawled, the sadder she felt, and the more embarrassed she felt. At the moment of self-pity, the blanket was suddenly lifted, and Yuwen Chu laid heavily beside her, staring at her intently and said in a low voice, “I’m in a very bad mood today, so someone has to keep their promise, or else, we’re not finished!”
Not finished with her? Mingzhu’s mood suddenly improved a lot. She whispered, “I’ve been very gentle and considerate these past few days, and I haven’t done anything wrong. Even if Your Highness is upset, you shouldn’t take it out on me. If you don’t finish with me, I have a bad temper and will fight back. Then, Your Highness will be even more upset, right?”
Yuwen Chu roughly pulled her over, breathing heavily as he said, “You’ve offended me! Hurry up and fulfill your promise, or else you’ll see!”
“Where did I offend Your Highness?” Mingzhu bit her lip, cautiously reaching out her hand and lightly touching the tense little Yuwen Chu. She quickly withdrew her hand, fearing to play with fire and provoke him into going crazy.
Yuwen Chu, however, was too lazy to argue with her. He abruptly grabbed her hand and pressed it against himself, then leaned in to kiss her, his movements somewhat rough. Mingzhu could feel that he was actually struggling to control himself, and she could sense that there was a moment when he almost couldn’t hold back, nearly biting her lips and tongue, but he always managed to hold back at the last moment when she thought he couldn’t bear it. He trembled, breathing heavily, covered in sweat, holding her tightly, silent and unmoving.
Mingzhu suddenly welled up with tears. She thought that even the best husband could only do so much. Among the men she knew, especially those who had been high and mighty since childhood, probably none could be like him. Even though Yuwen Chu had never told her outright how much he loved her, she knew it now. He cherished her and respected her.
Mingzhu impulsively hugged Yuwen Chu back, tears in her eyes as she kissed him. At this moment, she was willing, even if she was scared, she was willing. Yuwen Chu immediately noticed her change, and before Mingzhu could react, she was pushed down onto the bedding.
The fiery kiss landed quickly on her lips and ears. Mingzhu felt an unnamed fire suddenly burning fiercely in the depths of her heart, so fierce that it almost penetrated her bones and skin. Unconsciously, she tightly hugged Yuwen Chu’s neck, staring at him with wide eyes.
A faint blush appeared on Yuwen Chu’s face, and his eyes shimmered. He seemed to be focusing on her, yet also seeing through her. There were too many emotions in his eyes for Mingzhu to understand completely, but she clearly saw intense desire. Unlike Yuwen You’s madness mixed with strong hatred, his expression was pleasant, expectant, and desirous, yet also non-negotiable and inevitable.
In a strange impulse, Mingzhu once again embraced his head, gently kissing his eyes. The trembling eyelashes and slightly cool lips met, quickly igniting a spark. With her usual patience and tenderness, the pain and discomfort quickly faded away, replaced by an inexplicable taste. Mingzhu felt as if she were drifting on a light boat, bobbing along with the waves, with gusts of wind and clouds rising and falling. All she could hear was Yuwen Chu’s rapid breathing, the scent of alcohol fading away, replaced by the faint, cool fragrance of his body. Though it was a faint and cool scent, it now seemed overpowering, drowning out any other smell.
She couldn’t hear any sound other than his, couldn’t see anything other than him. For a moment, she felt like she had forgotten everything before, her mind filled only with the handsome man in front of her, passionate and domineering yet gentle and attentive, trying his best to win her heart.
Half-opening her eyes, Mingzhu gazed at Yuwen Chu in astonishment. In the dim yellow light, his smooth and powerful figure resembled a cheetah, brimming with restrained energy as if ready to burst forth at any moment, yet exuding a calm elegance. His deep black eyes sparkled with starlight, captivating her heart. Mingzhu sighed softly, reaching out to cover Yuwen Chu’s eyes. She didn’t want him to look at her like that, but Yuwen Chu smirked, his lips curving into a low smile. “Are we continuing the game from a few days ago?”
His voice was husky and low, the last syllable rising slightly, as if it carried a hook. Mingzhu’s heart skipped a beat, almost feeling breathless. She was about to say “no,” but before she could, a soft and fragrant silk fell onto her face, covering her eyes tightly. Unable to see him, she could only hear his increasingly heavy breathing, making her even more nervous. Her heart tightened suddenly, feeling a tug at her waist, like a piece of ice suddenly thrown into a blazing charcoal brazier. With a sizzle, it melted away completely.
She screamed hysterically, waving her hands like a drowning person, grabbing Yuwen Chu’s strong shoulders and clinging to them desperately, crying out, “Don’t…” But all she got was a warm and lingering kiss, swallowing all her fear and cries, leaving only a trembling soul.
The silk covering her face was removed, and the previously dim light now seemed glaring. Mingzhu covered her eyes with her hand, stealing a glance at Yuwen Chu through her fingers. He knelt beside her calmly, watching her quietly with a satisfied smile, his white inner robe half-open, revealing his strong chest.
Thinking of the hot and intoxicating feeling when their skins touched just now, Mingzhu’s heart twisted again. She didn’t dare to look any longer, turned over and curled up in the blanket, refusing to speak.
Yuwen Chu leaned down and blew gently in her ear, whispering, “Do you still like it?”
So annoying, so shameless! Who constantly brings up this kind of thing and keeps asking about it? Mingzhu was filled with resentment, burying herself deeper under the covers. Thinking about the uncontrollable scream she let out earlier, she felt even more ashamed.
