Mingzhu reacted quickly, feigning foolishness, “I’m thinking about what delicious lunch to make for Fourth Brother.” Then she smiled at Yuwen Chu, “And for His Highness, he’s been eating porridge for two days straight. It’s time to change it up. I’ll have the kitchen make silver thread noodles for you.”
Fu Mingzheng snorted, “It seems like you’re not seeing who I’m doing it for. Don’t give him silver thread noodles.”
Yuwen Chu glanced at him and said to Mingzhu, “I want to eat silver thread noodles, and I want to eat the ones you cook. Of course, if you’re tired and don’t want to make them, forget it.”
