Thousand Miles of Heaven Chapter 8

Ch 8 “……be gentle.”

At the end of You Shi (5-7pm), the gate of King Ke’s mansion opened wide.

Because of the delay on the way, twilight had already fallen when they arrived in the capital. Xie Chaoyuan did not follow the imperial carriage to the palace, and the prince’s carriage returned directly to it’s palace.

This palace was located in the southwest of the imperial palace. Five years ago, Xie Chaoling was the crown prince, and the princes were made kings. Xie Chaoyuan moved here when he was eleven years old.

The carriage entered the mansion and stopped at Xile Tang on the east road where Xie Chaoyuan lived.

Xie Chaoling got out of the carriage and glanced around. It was the same as Ting Song Zhai. It looked deserted. This little Highness was only sixteen years old and the people he brought to serve him didn’t have much liveliness, it made Xie Chaoling extremely uncomfortable.

“Will I live here in the future?”

“Is there a problem?”

Xie Chaoyuan held Xie Chaoling’s hand: “Go in and have a look.”

This was the third courtyard on Wangfu East Road. Xie Chaoyuan’s usual residence had five main rooms, one in the middle and two warm pavilions in the east and west, divided into inner and outer rooms.

“I thought His Highness would arrange another yard for me to live in.” Xie Chaoling said.

Xie Chaoyuan smiled and said, “Why arrange another yard? The king lives in Dongnuan Pavilion, and the west side is reserved for the prince’s consort, so you can live with peace of mind.”

Xie Chaoling disapproved: “Since it is for the prince consort, does Your Highness dare to report my name to the court to be officially wed?”

“Is this what Linlang wants?” Xie Chaoyuan being grasped by him, promised solemnly, “There will be that one day.”

Xie Chaoling felt that Xie Chaoyuan was talking about a dream, ignored him, and pushed open the door of Xinuan Pavilion to go in.

Xie Chaoyuan had already ordered someone to clean and decorate the place, burn the sweet fragrance according to Xie Chaoling’s preferences, and decorate the house with flowers. Xie Chaoling had nothing to dislike and thanked Xie Chaoyuan.

“The bathroom is on the west wing, I’ll take you there after dinner.” Xie Chaoyuan reminded him.

After sitting in the carriage for a whole day, Xie Chaoling was tired and hungry. He was so tired that he was too lazy to think about anything.

At Xu Shi (7-9p), when he was full, Xie Chaoyuan led Xie Chaoling to the bathroom.

Xie Chaoyuan enjoyed it very much. All the rooms in the west wing were opened up to form a bathroom. The pool made of white jade took up half of the room, and the water was running and steaming hot.

Knowing Xie Chaoyuan’s thoughts, Xie Chaoling was still magnanimous in front of him. He didn’t need anyone to wait on him, so he took off his clothes and stepped into the bath.

The hot water wiped away his fatigue, Xie Chaoling sat down against the pool wall, closed his eyes, and gradually relaxed.

Xie Chaoyuan was attracted by the lines of his shoulders and neck, and knelt down behind him, gently wrapping his fingers, rolling up the ends of Xie Chaoling’s slightly damp hair.

“Linlang, are you deliberately seducing this king?”

Xie Chaoling was drowsy. Hearing this sentence, it took a beat before he remembered something, and said speechlessly, “Your Highness is thinking too much.”

Xie Chaoyuan laughed in a low voice. Crown prince brother’s temper, he didn’t know whether to say his heart was too great or he knew how to speak too well.

“This king will help you wipe your back.”

Xie Chaoling wanted to say no, he was too embarrassed to bother His Royal Highness King Ke to do it himself, but being pushed and rubbed on his shoulders and neck very well, the place where he was sitting in the carriage felt a lot better immediately, so he didn’t struggle anymore.

“I didn’t expect that His Highness could do the work of serving people.” He said casually. He was doing a really good job.

Xie Chaoyuan explained: “His Majesty is suffering from a head disease. This king learned a bit from the imperial doctor, and occasionally helped the old man to massage. If not, how can I coax the old man to be happy and condone this king’s mischief outside.”

Ignoring Xie Chaoyuan’s last sentence, Xie Chaoling complimented him: “Your Royal Highness is a dutiful son.”

Feeling comfortable, Xie Chaoling felt more and more sleepy. In order to divert his attention, he turned to lie on the edge of the bathtub and looked up at Xie Chaoyuan.

Xie Chaoyuan also looked down at him.

In the mist, Xie Chaoling’s reddish face was so beautiful that he couldn’t take his eyes off of him.

At first, he just wanted his crown prince brother to notice him too. Later, he wanted to monopolize this person and make this person only belong to him.

Xie Chaoling didn’t need to be the crown prince who was above ten thousand people, he just needed to be his Linlang.

Being stared at by Xie Chaoyuan like this, Xie Chaoling secretly thought that it was not good.

“Your Highness, what are you thinking?”

“What are you thinking about?” Xie Chaoyuan asked him back.

Xie Chaoling hesitated for a moment, and said, “Your Highness, why don’t you arrange another place for me, I heard that there are many beauties in your house, isn’t it going to cause trouble for me to live with you? And in the future, when you favor others in the room, wouldn’t it be embarrassing if I was listening next door?”

Xie Chaoyuan pinched his chin with one hand, his eyes dangerous: “Where do you want to go?”

“…anywhere is fine.”

“You just don’t want to stay by the king’s side, do you?”

Xie Chaoling thought that he was going to suffer, but Xie Chaoyuan had already grabbed his wrist and pulled him up from the water.

“Your Highness…”

The aura of the little wolf cub was fierce and he gritted his teeth: “This is King Ke’s mansion, you can’t escape.”

Not giving Xie Chaoling a chance to refuse, Xie Chaoyuan pressed him on the cold white jade slab and leaned over to kiss him.

This was not the first time Xie Chaoyuan had kissed him, but Xie Chaoling clearly felt the hostility in this rampant kiss. He was naked and pressed under Xie Chaoyuan, unable to escape.

His lips soon tasted blood. Xie Chaoling took a bite, Xie Chaoyuan felt pain on the tip of his tongue, but he refused to let go of the person, and the kiss became deeper and more urgent.

Before suffocating, Xie Chaoling finally turned his head to the side, gasping for breath.

“Does Your Highness have to do this?” he asked hoarsely.

Xie Chaoyuan stroked his cheek, Xie Chaoling was not only flushed red from the heat, but also had red eyes.

Xie Chaoyuan had never seen Xie Chaoling like this. Crown Prince elder brother had always been warm-hearted and confident, always with a proper smile on his face, as if he was wearing a mask, but now, he was lying naked in his arms, his eyes reddened with grievances because of being bullied, and he was no longer the aloof and omnipotent crown prince.

Xie Chaoyuan stared at him, the beast that had been imprisoned for a long time in his heart was about to break out of the cage.

“Does Your Highness have to do this?”

Xie Chaoling asked him repeatedly, his reddish eyes glistened with water, and the tip of his nose was also red. There was a small mole on the left side, as if the finishing touch on a perfect picture, exceptionally seductive.

Xie Chaoyuan lowered his head, kissed him, and then went down to kiss Xie Chaoling’s lips again.

Xie Chaoling stopped biting him. He closed his eyes, his eyelashes kept trembling, and he allowed Xie Chaoyuan to kiss him without responding.

The person under him was tense. Xie Chaoyuan stopped and said hoarsely against his lips: “Linlang, can you be my person?”

Xie Chaoling didn’t open his eyes, and spat out a vague response: “If I say no, will His Highness let me go?”

Xie Chaoling stopped talking and resisted with silence.

Xie Chaoyuan raised his hand, and the belly of his thumb slowly rubbed his red and bloodshot lips, his eyes darker.

A silk scarf wrapped around Xie Chaoling’s body, and Xie Chaoyuan picked him up.

Xie Chaoling let down his long hair to cover his face. He leaned against Xie Chaoyuan’s arms and didn’t move. He heard the sound of Xie Chaoyuan’s heartbeat. It was strong and thumped repeatedly.

He knew he couldn’t escape tonight.

Throwing the person onto the bed, Xie Chaoyuan pressed down. Xie Chaoling stretched out his hand against his shoulder, his throat rolled: “Does it have to be tonight?”

Xie Chaoyuan took his hand and touched his lips to it lightly: “From the first day you came to this king, you should have known that this day would come sooner or later.”

Xie Chaoling tried to argue: “I don’t remember anything, I was given to you through force.”

“Aren’t you happy?”

Xie Chaoling wanted to say that he was unhappy, but he didn’t say anything.

Because of Xie Chaoyuan’s madness, if he said that he was not willing, it would be asking for trouble, and he might be bitten by this wolf cub immediately.

Being stared at by Xie Chaoyuan, Xie Chaoling turned his mind a few times, then finally turned his face away and closed his eyes.

Xie Chaoyuan’s breath fell on his neck. Even with his eyes closed, Xie Chaoling could feel as if he was being targeted by a snake, and he would be eaten up at any time. He instinctively wanted to escape, but there was no way to escape.

“Linlang, are you nervous?” Xie Chaoyuan said in his ear.

When Xie Chaoyuan pinched his face and turned back, the tight string in Xie Chaoling’s mind finally broke, and the unsheathed short knife touched Xie Chaoyuan’s abdomen.

It was Xie Chaoyuan’s knife, which he kept beside the pillow. Xie Chaoling touched it when he was thrown onto the bed just now.

Xie Chaoyuan’s eyes looked down and he paused, no emotion could be seen in his dark eyes. Looking up again, even though Xie Chaoling tried his best to hide it, he could still see a slightly panicked look in his eyes.

This was the first time Xie Chaoling showed such an expression in front of him.

Xie Chaoling knew that he shouldn’t have done this. This would be an assassination and his life might be lost, but at that moment just now, instinct overcame reason, so now the knife was in his hand.

Being stared at by Xie Chaoyuan, Xie Chaoling swallowed: “Your Highness, you forced me.”

After a moment of confrontation, Xie Chaoyuan suddenly laughed. He grabbed the blade in his hand, and pulled it out of Xie Chaoling’s hand forcibly.

Seeing the blood oozing from Xie Chaoyuan’s fisted fingers, Xie Chaoling’s heart skipped a beat and he let go of his hand.

“If you like this knife, I’ll give it to you later.” Xie Chaoyuan threw the knife to the ground, not caring about his bleeding palm.

“I’ve never seen Linlang like this before.” Xie Chaoyuan said.

He had never seen his elder brother, the crown prince, in such a panic. Xie Chaoling being like this, he thought it was very interesting.

“Your hand is injured and needs to be bandaged.” Xie Chaoling whispered.

Xie Chaoyuan hooked his lips: “Is Linlang worried about me?”

Xie Chaoling wished he could slap this man. It was like playing a piano to a cow, straight stubborn.

Although he had no memory, Xie Chaoling felt that he definitely was not a good-natured person. If this little highness was his younger brother and being this annoying, he would definitely beat him up to relieve the hatred in his heart.

It’s a pity that this person was a prince who was aloof, and he couldn’t do it.

Xie Chaoyuan rolled up the silk scarf that had wrapped Xie Chaoling’s body, and casually wrapped it around his palm, but always staring at the person below him.

Xie Chaoling couldn’t stand his gaze, and turned his face away again, not wanting to look at him. Xie Chaoyuan’s breath fell down again, his tone was gentle and doting: “Don’t be afraid Linlang.”

The kiss fell to the side of his neck. Xie Chaoling gave up completely, and lowered his voice: “…be gentle.”
