Shoutout to Kari for the commission!
The tranquil night seemed endless. It felt as though the only thing they could hear beside their ears was the sound of their pounding hearts.
Le Cheng was stunned for a moment. The unusual tone and overly intimate form of address made him feel as though he had suddenly been pulled into a warm embrace. But it was only an illusion. He blinked once.
“You…” Le Cheng didn’t know how to describe what he was feeling at that moment. “What you said… was actually… pretty nice.”
As though he were feeling guilty, he changed the subject, his eyelashes fluttering restlessly. “Why did you call me that?”
“Call you what?” Zhou Shirui seemed not to understand.
“Just… Chengcheng.” For some reason, after hearing Zhou Shirui call him that, even this form of address felt strangely hot on his lips.
“Chengcheng.” Zhou Shirui’s voice was very low. In the night, it seemed to be covered by a layer of soft gauze, hazy and gentle. “Does it sound nice?”
Le Cheng gave a slight nod. “It sounds nice.”
Zhou Shirui pronounced his words very clearly, but when he said those two characters, his tone was exceptionally light and cheerful, with a slightly lazy feeling to it.
“The question from just now,” Zhou Shirui said. “You haven’t answered it yet.”
Le Cheng: “Hm?”
“Do you want to let go of me?” Zhou Shirui asked.
It was clearly very dark, with barely any light, yet for some reason, Le Cheng had the illusion that Zhou Shirui was looking down at him seriously at that very moment.
“Of course I won’t.” Le Cheng lifted the corners of his lips, his eyes curving into crescents. “What if I let go and you fall?”
He joked, “You’re too tall! I can’t catch you.”
“Mm.” Zhou Shirui followed along with his words. “Then don’t let go.”
After turning the corner of the staircase, the brightly lit corridor came into view. Le Cheng let go of Zhou Shirui. The journey had taken less than two minutes, yet his palm had become damp, as though he had broken into a sweat.
He turned back. “There’s electricity on this floor. Let’s take the elevator.”
Zhou Shirui lowered his eyes, his gaze lingering on his palm for a moment before he said, “Okay.”
They took the elevator downstairs and got a taxi back to the school. It wasn’t until they reached the front of the dormitory building that Le Cheng said goodbye to Zhou Shirui.
Zhou Shirui nodded. Le Cheng watched his figure disappear around the corner, then somewhat awkwardly rubbed his palm.
Strange, Le Cheng thought. Maybe the weather really had gotten hot. His palms seemed to sweat so easily.

Le Cheng submitted the first draft a week later.
On the day he submitted it, they went out to eat together.
Le Cheng bit into some greens and looked at Zhou Shirui sitting across from him. “How is it? Is there anything you’re not satisfied with? I can change anything.”
After all, revising drafts was completely normal for an artist. If the client wasn’t satisfied, then you changed it, changing it until the client was satisfied. Sometimes, after revising it for the nth time, the client would say that the first version actually looked the best.
Zhou Shirui lowered his eyelashes. Although he had already known how intelligent Le Cheng was, this was probably the first time he had so directly realized just how talented Le Cheng was when it came to drawing.
The use of color was bold and vibrant, while the overall colors and lighting created a harmonious and bright feeling with an extremely strong visual impact. Although some details had yet to be perfected, it was still striking enough to make one’s eyes light up.
Zhou Shirui closed the tablet. “Very good. You can refine it further.”
“Really?” Le Cheng’s eyes widened slightly. “It doesn’t need any changes at all?”
“Mm.” Zhou Shirui nodded. “No changes needed.”
Le Cheng was practically ecstatic. Zhou Shirui really was such a kind and easygoing client who actually knew how to communicate properly.
“Okay.” Le Cheng smiled happily. “Then I’ll go back and work on the details. I’ll definitely finish it as soon as possible!”
Zhou Shirui looked up at him, as if considering his words. “…Sometimes, relaxing appropriately is also good.”
“Hm?” Le Cheng blinked.
Thinking about it, this was the first time he’d gone out to eat this entire week. He liked working himself to the bone on his drawings; whenever his inspiration was interrupted, the whole thing would feel off, as though there were a certain reckless beauty to not caring about his own well-being.
“Oh, right…” Le Cheng remembered how many times he’d turned Zhou Shirui down this week and felt a little embarrassed. Zhou Shirui didn’t have many friends, and he had already gotten used to cooking and eating with him. Being rejected probably hadn’t made him very happy either.
“Oh, right.” Le Cheng suddenly remembered. “I got a call from Beibei yesterday. How about we go to the orphanage this weekend?”
Beibei was the child they had met at the orphanage last time. Before leaving, the two of them had both left their phone numbers with the staff there so they could keep in touch in the future.
“Beibei said they really miss us, and the other kids miss us too.” Le Cheng asked, “Are you free this weekend?”
Zhou Shirui gazed at him and nodded. “I’m always free.”
After they settled on a time, early on the weekend morning, they first went back to Zhou Shirui’s home in the city to get his car, and then went shopping for some things.
Last time, they had gone as part of a group activity, so they hadn’t prepared anything. This time, Le Cheng wanted to buy some small toys and snacks to give to the children.
When they arrived at the mall, Le Cheng and Zhou Shirui headed straight for the toy section.
Since they were all children, Le Cheng suggested buying stuffed animals first.
Zhou Shirui took him into a toy store. One beautiful stuffed animal after another, each tied with a ribbon, was displayed on the counter. Le Cheng immediately took a liking to a little brown bear.
He picked it up and exclaimed, “This one is so cute. I feel like both girls and boys would like it!”
The little bear was fluffy, with a bow tie around its neck and bright eyes. For some reason, it reminded him of Zhou Shirui’s eyes when he had looked at him in the stairwell.
After he finished speaking, there was no sound from behind him. Le Cheng turned his head and found Zhou Shirui standing there with lowered eyelashes, holding a fluffy little white rabbit.
“Eh?” Le Cheng leaned over to take a look.
Zhou Shirui raised his eyes. His slender fingers held the little white rabbit, and he suddenly lifted his hand and touched Le Cheng’s cheek with it.
The little white rabbit and Le Cheng both stared at him with wide eyes, looking somewhat confused.
Le Cheng blinked. “What are you doing?”
Even the long eyelashes were the same. Zhou Shirui lowered his eyes and compared them for a moment. “Nothing.”
Cute.
Le Cheng didn’t pay him any more attention. He picked out a whole pile of stuffed animals himself, then dragged Zhou Shirui over to the snack section.
After spending two hours going back and forth, they got into the car. Le Cheng lowered his head to check the large bag of stuffed animals and suddenly noticed that two of them had been carefully wrapped.
There were too many things to carry, and since the two of them were carrying everything themselves, convenience was the priority. So when the store employee was packing everything, Le Cheng had declined the gift bags. Why had these two been wrapped separately for him?
Le Cheng immediately pulled them out and saw what they were: a little white rabbit with a pink bow tied around its neck and a carrot embroidered on its butt.
??
Le Cheng stared at the little rabbit for two seconds, somewhat bewildered. “Did I pick this one up…?”
“I did.” Zhou Shirui said calmly from the side.
“Huh?” Le Cheng thought about it. “Then there are a bit too many stuffed animals.”
When they gave things to the children, they had to be absolutely fair and impartial. Otherwise, it wouldn’t be good if the children ended up fighting over the toys.
“Not for them.” Zhou Shirui said calmly. “I bought it separately.”
Le Cheng hoped he wasn’t being too stereotypical, but after staring at Zhou Shirui for three seconds, he still couldn’t help curving his eyebrows into a smile.
What an adorable contrast. How did Zhou Shirui even like stuffed animals?
Zhou Shirui looked at him with a hint of confusion.
“Mm, is it for a little one at home?” Le Cheng asked considerately.
Zhou Shirui stared at him for a long moment before suddenly letting out a short laugh. “…Mm, yes.”
Oh, I see. Le Cheng lowered his head and tugged on the bear’s ear. Zhou Shirui was actually quite good with children.
The car soon stopped in front of the orphanage.
Unlike the feeling from their previous visit, there weren’t many people at the orphanage this time, and it was somewhat quiet. Le Cheng and Zhou Shirui first greeted the director.
Afterward, the director brought them to the children’s activity area.
A group of children were playing games. At the director’s call of, “Guess who’s here?” they all turned their heads in unison and instantly rushed over.
“Big Brother Chengcheng!!”
“Big Brother Rui Rui!!”
“Oh my.” Le Cheng picked up one child, while two clung to his legs, and he was soon completely “surrounded.”
He turned his head and saw that Zhou Shirui had excellent arm strength. One of the children was sitting on his arm, and he looked completely at ease.
Le Cheng, who needed both arms to hold his child: “…”
The benefits of working out were on full display at this moment.
They carried the children into the courtyard. Le Cheng handed out the gifts and snacks, only to discover that the two wrapped rabbits weren’t among them.
Zhou Shirui had probably put them in the trunk.
Le Cheng kept reminding them, “Don’t fight over them. There are lots, so everyone can have one.”
A bunch of little bundles of energy chattered as they burrowed into the pile of toys.
Zhou Shirui suddenly reached out and lifted all the toys, then patted the sofa beside him and said to Le Cheng, “Sit down.”
Le Cheng was a little confused, but he still sat down as instructed.
Zhou Shirui bent down and rubbed the head of the nearest child. His voice was deep. “What did Big Brother teach you? When we receive a gift, what’s the first thing we should say?”
The children rolled their eyes around. “Um… say thank you!”
“That’s right.” Zhou Shirui said, “So we need to line up properly and wait for Big Brother Chengcheng to hand out your gifts.”
Le Cheng felt his face grow a little warm at the way he said Big Brother Chengcheng. “Ahem, listen up, everyone. Come line up.”
Only then did the children obediently form a long line. After the first child received his gift, he thought for a moment before saying, “Thank you, Big Brother Chengcheng!”
Afterward, he poked his head toward Zhou Shirui. “Big Brother Rui-Rui, did I do it right?”
“Good boy.” Zhou Shirui bent down slightly and met his eyes. “You did very well.”
“Yay!” The child wearing a baseball cap hopped away.
Le Cheng turned his head to look at him. His gaze was so intense that Zhou Shirui noticed and turned his eyes toward him. “What’s wrong?”
Le Cheng felt a little strange about it. “I think you sounded pretty gentle just now.”
Zhou Shirui paused. “Gentle?”
“Mm.” Le Cheng said, “It feels different from how you usually are.”
“What am I like normally?”
Le Cheng tried hard to describe it. “Normally, you’re more…” Le Cheng struggled for a moment. “Anyway, you just seem gentler like this.”
Zhou Shirui: “Then which do you like?”
It was a very direct question. Le Cheng froze for a moment, and his heart suddenly gave a little flutter.
But Zhou Shirui’s expression was very serious and calm.
Setting aside those romantic thoughts, Le Cheng answered honestly, “I think both are pretty good.”
Zhou Shirui nodded. “Mm.”
They continued playing games with the children for a while, until night fell and it was finally time to say goodbye.
Le Cheng picked up and gently swung each child in turn. His arms became numb from exhaustion. After returning to the car, he glanced at the orange-tinted sky outside.
“It looks like it’s going to rain.” Le Cheng could feel the dampness in the air. “Didn’t the weather forecast say there wouldn’t be any rain today?”
As he spoke, he took out his phone and checked again. It showed that there would be a torrential downpour in two hours.
The weather forecast was as unpredictable as the weather itself.
Le Cheng turned off the screen. Zhou Shirui asked him, “Want to get something to eat first?”
It was eight o’clock at night, so it was the perfect time to go have dinner.
“Sure.” Le Cheng was getting hungry. He fastened his seat belt, lowered his head, and suddenly spotted the two little white rabbits.
Le Cheng picked them up and casually asked, “Do you have two little kids at home?”
“No.” Zhou Shirui said.
“Then why did you buy two…” Le Cheng was a little confused.
Zhou Shirui turned his head and glanced at him. “They’re yours.”
“What?”
Zhou Shirui picked up one of them. “It’s yours.”
Le Cheng finally understood. “You… this, you bought it for me?”
“Mm.” Zhou Shirui’s reaction was very calm, as though it were the most ordinary thing in the world.
Although Le Cheng wasn’t very old, he was already well past the age of wanting stuffed animals. But the little rabbit was adorable. He shook the box and couldn’t help mumbling, “It’s so cute, but I’m not a little kid anymore…”
Zhou Shirui turned his head, the corners of his lips curving into a rare, faint smile. “Aren’t you? Children’s Day.”
Le Cheng froze slightly, then quickly realized that his birthday was on Children’s Day.
His face instantly grew warm, and his eyelashes fluttered wildly. “That’s my birthday!”
“Mm.” Zhou Shirui said, “I didn’t say it wasn’t.”
But Le Cheng was still very happy to have gotten a stuffed animal for free. He pinched and rubbed the rabbit’s ears over and over. “Then the other little rabbit…”
Zhou Shirui: “Mine.”
“Hm?” Le Cheng was a little confused, but then he understood. If Zhou Shirui was going to give it to someone else, then it was Zhou Shirui’s.
“Oh, oh.” Le Cheng asked again, “Where are we going to eat?”
Zhou Shirui named a restaurant.
They soon arrived at their destination. Zhou Shirui parked the car, and the two of them went upstairs together.
After Le Cheng finished ordering, he propped up his chin and started pinching the rabbit’s ears again. After a while, he suddenly stopped, afraid that he would get the rabbit’s ears dirty.
“Bzzz—”
His phone vibrated. Le Cheng looked up. It was a call from Zhou Shirui.
Zhou Shirui’s gaze lowered slightly. After seeing the note attached to the number, he frowned almost imperceptibly.
Understandingly, Le Cheng said, “Go take the call. It’ll be a while before the food comes anyway.”
“Mm.” Zhou Shirui’s slender fingers swiped across the screen. He stood up and walked away, and only after reaching a quiet place did he answer. “Hello?”
“Shiru, what are you doing?” An aged voice came from the other end.
Zhou Shirui was silent for a moment. “Nothing. I’m eating.”
“Why don’t you call me Dad?” the person on the other end said. “It’s been more than half a year since we’ve seen each other, hasn’t it?”
Zhou Shirui couldn’t remember how long it had been. He frowned slightly and asked in a calm tone, “Is there something you need?”
“You brat, why are you in such a bad mood? Is it really such a hardship to say a few words to me? What kind of child acts like you? You’re not even close to your own father!” Zhou Pinghe’s voice suddenly rose. Zhou Shirui was accustomed to it and moved the phone farther away. Only after Zhou Pinghe finished roaring did he bring it back to his ear and ask, “What is it?”
“Forget it, I don’t want to talk about you.” Zhou Pinghe breathed heavily. “Auntie’s birthday is next week. I miss you, and she misses you too. Come to the birthday banquet then. Our whole family can have a nice meal together.”
Miss him? Zhou Shirui lowered his eyelashes expressionlessly. Hearing that word come from Zhou Pinghe’s mouth was particularly grating.
“Say something.” Zhou Pinghe had been waiting a long time without receiving a response, and the mask of the loving father he had briefly put on was instantly torn away. “Are you trying to piss your father to death? I gave birth to you and raised you, and this is how you repay me? Now I have to beg you just to get you to come home?”
The relationship of being someone’s parent and child could sound so heavy yet so weightless when spoken by certain people. Keeping you alive until you grew up meant they had raised you; contributing less than three minutes of effort meant they had given birth to you.
Zhou Shirui looked at the night view in the distance and spoke. “What time?”
“You don’t even know when?!” Zhou Pinghe sounded very angry. “Forget it. Next Wednesday. There will be a lot of people coming. You have to come back!”
He had made mistakes when he was young, but even in old age, he still cared about his reputation. Even for the sake of maintaining a vain illusion, he had to put on an appearance of family harmony in front of outsiders.
Zhou Shirui lowered his eyes and gave a faint, cold laugh. “Okay.”
Zhou Pinghe’s greatest regret was probably that he couldn’t have any more children, leaving him with only one son.
Le Cheng had been waiting with his chopsticks for quite a while. He was looking down at his phone when he heard the faint sound of a chair moving and looked up. “Why did it take so long? Was something wrong?”
Zhou Shirui showed little expression. “Nothing. Let’s eat.”
Le Cheng nodded. “Oh.”
Because they had been delayed for so long, it was already nine-thirty by the time they finished eating.
A call suddenly popped up on Le Cheng’s phone.
It was Tan Xiaobai.
Le Cheng answered. “What’s up, Xiaobai?”
“Le Cheng, where are you?” Tan Xiaobai asked.
“I’m still out eating.” Le Cheng thought for a moment. “I’ll probably be back in about half an hour.”
He glanced out the window. As expected, a torrential downpour had already begun. The roads would be bad in the rain, so it would probably take longer.
“Maybe around forty minutes,” Le Cheng added carefully.
“That long? Then don’t come back.” Tan Xiaobai lowered his voice. “The people in charge just came by to check the dorms and asked why you weren’t there. I covered for you and said you went home. If you come back, they’ll count everyone again, and won’t they realize you weren’t actually home?”
Le Cheng was confused. “Our school checks the dorms?”
“Isn’t it because of what happened last weekend?” Tan Xiaobai was also exasperated. “So now they’re checking the dorms on Saturdays and Sundays. But I heard from the senior students that they’ve done this before. It’ll probably only last two weeks or so, just for show.”
Last weekend, a couple had gone out in the middle of the night and something had happened. Their parents were unhappy and had come to the school to make a fuss, so the school authorities had ordered dormitory checks on Saturdays and Sundays.
Le Cheng had heard about it too. “Okay, but…”
He was a little troubled. If he didn’t go back to the dorm, where would he stay? A hotel?
“Come to my place.” Zhou Shirui, who had been quietly sitting beside him, suddenly spoke.
Le Cheng mouthed, You heard that?
“Mm.” Zhou Shirui said, “It’s raining this heavily, and my place is very close to here.”
“That works.” It wasn’t like it was his first time going there anyway. Le Cheng said to Tan Xiaobai, “Then I’m not coming back tonight.”
Afraid that Tan Xiaobai would make some suggestive comment on the other end, Le Cheng quickly hung up.
They had arrived too late, and there were no spaces left in the underground parking garage. Outside, the rain was pouring. Le Cheng stood before the curtain of rain, the drops as large as beans, coming down in torrents.
Pedestrians on the road held umbrellas, yet even they were being blown into a miserable state by the wind.
Le Cheng took a deep breath and said bravely, “Let’s run for it!”
Zhou Shirui turned his head toward him, somewhat surprised. “Run for it?”
Le Cheng nodded. “Since we don’t have umbrellas, according to my calculations, we can probably run to the parking lot in about three minutes!”
Zhou Shirui paused for a moment. “Do you remember where we parked the car?”
Le Cheng’s eyes widened slightly. “You don’t remember?”
“I remember.” Zhou Shirui said.
“Exactly.” Le Cheng said matter-of-factly, his eyes sparkling. “I knew you’d remember! With you here, I don’t need to remember.”
He looked as though he trusted him wholeheartedly.
Zhou Shirui froze slightly, but he couldn’t help curving his lips into a smile. “Mm.”
As he spoke, he took off his coat. Under Le Cheng’s puzzled gaze, he draped it over both of their heads, covering them together, and said quietly, “Stay close to me.”
There was no time to be fussy. Le Cheng tensed his face. “Okay!”
“Let’s go.” Zhou Shirui’s low voice fell beside his ear.
Le Cheng followed him on instinct and rushed into the curtain of rain. Large drops fell onto their heads, yet none seeped through. All the surrounding noise seemed to be shut out by the coat, leaving behind only their intermingled breaths.
They ran all the way to the parking lot in one go.
Zhou Shirui opened the passenger door, and Le Cheng slipped inside like a little fish.
The two of them were tall with long legs and ran extremely fast, but even so, they still got wet.
Le Cheng’s calves and the outer sides of his arms were soaked. Zhou Shirui glanced at him, handed him a towel, and then turned up the temperature of the air conditioning.
“Dry yourself.”
“Okay.” Le Cheng took it. He turned his head and saw that Zhou Shirui had taken off his glasses. His black sweater clung to his upper body, revealing the contours of his muscles. His half-wet hair had been casually pushed back, and the droplets of water on his jaw slowly wound their way down and disappeared into his Adam’s apple.
He looked a little sexy like this, and Le Cheng stared for a moment.
Zhou Shirui rolled up his soaked sleeves. Le Cheng quickly reached out to help him. The wet sweater was somewhat heavy, and Le Cheng rolled up the sleeves carefully, his warm fingers coming into unobstructed contact with the muscles of Zhou Shirui’s slender arm.
Zhou Shirui’s movements paused slightly. He lowered his eyes and glanced at Le Cheng before taking the towel.
Suddenly, there was a momentary soft sensation against Le Cheng’s forehead. He looked up to see Zhou Shirui’s dark eyes watching him, his distinct fingers holding the towel.
“There’s water about to get into your eyes.” Zhou Shirui said calmly. “Can’t you feel it?”
“Then wipe it for me.” Le Cheng raised his fair face without thinking much of it.
Zhou Shirui stared at him without speaking. The towel carefully moved down from his forehead until it reached his cheek. He looked extremely serious, his thumb moving downward and catching the side of Le Cheng’s neck.
The slightly rough sensation brought a faint itch, as though he had gently rubbed against it.
Le Cheng didn’t resist. During those few seconds when he met Zhou Shirui’s eyes, he belatedly blinked lightly.
The temperature had risen. Heavy rain pounded against the car windows, while inside it was safe and warm, creating an extremely strong contrast. Zhou Shirui stared at him without speaking, his eyelashes lowered. In the narrow space of the car, even the air seemed to grow thick, as though the ambiguous atmosphere had been kneaded into a single mass and was slowly spreading outward in wisps.
Le Cheng’s heart gave a slight flutter. “W-what’s wrong?”
Zhou Shirui’s Adam’s apple moved before his eyes. “Nothing.”
He withdrew his hand and found a piece of clothing in the back seat. “Put this on.”
“Then what about you?” Most of Le Cheng’s body wasn’t wet. He shook the clothing open. “You should wear it.”
He leaned over and helped Zhou Shirui put it on, his fingertips lightly brushing along the line of Zhou Shirui’s neck.
He really was afraid Zhou Shirui would catch a cold because of this. His fingers tugged at the edge of the clothing, tucking it further inside, but when his hand touched a certain place, his wrist was suddenly caught.
A large hand restrained him. Zhou Shirui’s expression was somewhat unnatural, and his voice was a little hoarse. “Le Cheng.”
Le Cheng looked at him innocently.
“You…” Zhou Shirui closed his eyes briefly. “Sit back.”
“Oh…” Le Cheng obediently did as told. He watched as Zhou Shirui pulled the clothing off and laid it completely across his legs.
The torrential rain made the road conditions difficult. After roughly half an hour, they arrived at Zhou Shirui’s apartment.
After going upstairs, Zhou Shirui found some clothes and handed them to Le Cheng. “Go take a shower.”
Almost every bedroom had its own bathroom. Le Cheng lowered his eyes to the clothes in his hands. They were somewhat large and were probably Zhou Shirui’s. He rummaged through them again and then saw… underwear.
It looked so much bigger than his. Le Cheng froze for a moment, and his face instantly turned red. “This, this…”
Zhou Shirui said calmly, “Never worn. There aren’t any other sizes at home.”
Zhou Shirui paused. “I’ll go downstairs and buy you some.”
That would be such a hassle! He couldn’t exactly go without wearing any, could he? With his face red, Le Cheng whispered, “It’s fine, it’s fine. I can wear them, I can…”
As he spoke, he turned around and darted into the bathroom like a startled rabbit.
Zhou Shirui stood where he was for a long while without moving. He slowly lowered his eyes, but the corners of his lips were curved upward.
Le Cheng wasn’t particularly fast in the shower, but when he came out after drying his hair, Zhou Shirui was nowhere to be seen in the living room.
The loose shirt hung down to his butt. He rolled the sleeves up once, revealing a section of slender, fair wrist. The heat from the shower had steamed his skin to a faint pink, and his lips were especially rosy. Le Cheng sat down, somewhat uncomfortably tugging at his pants. There was a strangely empty feeling around his butt.
They were still too big.
“Click—”
The sound of the door closing. Le Cheng looked up and saw Zhou Shirui coming out while drying his hair.
He was casually wearing a shirt, the buttons undone, revealing his long, slender collarbones and clearly defined, smooth abdominal muscles. His solid body was surrounded by a faint mist of water. He wasn’t wearing his glasses. After noticing Le Cheng’s gaze, he turned his head slightly and asked with remarkable calmness, “What?”
This was the first time Le Cheng had seen Zhou Shirui look like this after taking a shower.
Before this, they had stayed together a few times, but for some reason, whenever he saw Zhou Shirui then, he had always been fully dressed.
“N-nothing…” The impact was a little too much, and Le Cheng instinctively denied it. He swung his slender, fair leg slightly, but couldn’t help asking, “Do you work out pretty often?”
“Why do you ask?”
When Zhou Shirui asked this, his eyes remained fixed on him. His dark eyes were deep and black, one slender hand clearly occupied with buttoning his shirt. Yet for some reason, Le Cheng had the illusion that he was casually taking his clothes off instead.
“Mm, you have such a good physique.” Le Cheng said, barely maintaining his composure. “It’s really well-proportioned.”
“Is that so?” Zhou Shirui asked in return.
His shirt was completely on, no, not completely. The top two buttons were still undone, revealing a small patch of full chest muscle.
Le Cheng watched as he picked up his glasses from the side and then slowly walked closer. His tall figure completely blocked out Le Cheng’s view. Dressed in his shirt, with his long eyelashes lowered, he looked perfectly proper and well-dressed as he said in a cool voice, “Le Cheng.”
He paused, then asked with remarkable calmness, “Want to touch and see?”
