Shoutout to Kari for the commission!
Sometimes drawing required finding references. While Le Cheng was looking for inspiration with nothing else to do, he suddenly came across a collection of pictures on some social platform that allowed replies.
[Some of Your Weird Little XP]
As an artist, Le Cheng naturally understood what “xp*” meant. With a studious attitude, he moved his finger and clicked into it.

Everyday preferences like suits, finger fetish, waist fetish, and ankle fetish were nothing unusual anymore. Le Cheng casually scrolled through them and found a comment beneath the collection that said: [Does anyone understand a guy’s Adam’s apple!!! It’s seriously so sexy, okay!!] It was accompanied by a picture. The image consisted of very simple lines, outlining the side profile of a man’s neck.
Le Cheng actually didn’t quite understand. After all, he had one himself. He raised a hand and touched his Adam’s apple. There was nothing special about it. Then he closed his phone and used the screen as a mirror, but he couldn’t see it very clearly.
He stretched his neck and twisted it around restlessly. Zhou Shirui, who was sitting beside him looking at a tablet, noticed and raised his eyes to ask, “What’s wrong? Does your neck feel uncomfortable?”
“No.” Le Cheng was still trying to get a good look at the screen as he answered casually. After a few seconds, he suddenly turned his head and looked at Zhou Shirui.
“Hmm?” Zhou Shirui calmly let him look.
“…Nothing.” Le Cheng gave a light cough and blinked. “Keep looking at your tablet.”
He had so many inexplicable behaviors that Zhou Shirui was already accustomed to them. Hearing this, he lowered his gaze again.
Le Cheng began openly observing him.
From this angle, he could see Zhou Shirui’s sharp, well-defined profile, flowing into the long, slender line of his neck. His Adam’s apple protruded, while his collarbones rose and fell before disappearing beneath his collar. Le Cheng stared for a while before suddenly asking, “What are you looking at?”
“Data,” Zhou Shirui answered. His Adam’s apple rolled gently. “Want to see?”
Le Cheng suddenly understood a little.
“No.” Le Cheng’s gaze lowered. “What kind of data?”
“Game data.” Zhou Shirui turned his face to catch his gaze, that protrusion still faintly trembling with the volume of his voice. “…What are you looking at?”
Le Cheng answered honestly, “Your Adam’s apple.”
Zhou Shirui was puzzled. “What are you looking at that for?”
Le Cheng answered, “It looks good.” As he spoke, he reached out and touched Zhou Shirui’s.
It was smooth and a little pointed. Unable to resist, Le Cheng gave it a little pinch, making Zhou Shirui let out a muffled groan before grabbing his wrist. “…Don’t pinch.”
“What’s wrong?” Le Cheng asked with wide, inquisitive eyes. “What does it feel like?”
“Can’t breathe,” Zhou Shirui said casually.
Le Cheng went, “Oh,” and withdrew his hand to touch his own in the mirror. Then he lifted his neck and clearly saw his own.
Zhou Shirui watched him look for a while before Le Cheng seemed to make a surprising discovery. “Eh! Your Adam’s apple is a little bigger than mine!”
Of course Zhou Shirui knew. He observed Le Cheng’s body very carefully. He even knew exactly how many moles Le Cheng had and where each one was. He nodded calmly. “Mm. What about it?”
“Nothing.” Le Cheng’s skin was very fair, delicate, and smooth, and he carried himself well. When he lowered his head, he looked like a little swan. Zhou Shirui liked it very much and had kissed it many times, but whether normally or during s*x, he never left overly heavy marks. Le Cheng was rather curious, because he often saw those blue and purple marks on couples’ necks, so he casually asked, “Why don’t you like leaving hickeys on the neck?”
Zhou Shirui was different from him. Le Cheng most liked kissing Zhou Shirui’s lips because they were soft, like jelly. But whenever they were in bed, Zhou Shirui always liked kissing his body, leaving all kinds of marks behind.
This was how Zhou Shirui answered: “It’s not good for the body. I looked it up. There are certain risks.”
Le Cheng froze, never expecting that to be the reason. Seeing how seriously he said it, Le Cheng was touched, but he also couldn’t stop laughing. He walked over and hugged Zhou Shirui. “You’re so thorough.”
Zhou Shirui sometimes kissed his Adam’s apple too, but Le Cheng found it ticklish and didn’t like letting him kiss it. Every time, he would squirm around as if someone were tickling him, so Zhou Shirui would settle for biting his collarbone hard instead.
He secretly saved that simple drawing of the Adam’s apple. That night, when he was pressed into the bed, Le Cheng’s vision was misty with tears. Zhou Shirui held the bend of his leg and lifted it upward, folding it back with force. Le Cheng was having a hard time enduring it. Suddenly remembering something, he slightly lifted his head ingratiatingly and lightly kissed that Adam’s apple moving up and down.
Zhou Shirui’s movements stopped. His dark eyes lowered heavily. Thinking that his action had worked, Le Cheng was just about to kiss it again when he was suddenly thrust into silence, and tears uncontrollably fell from his eyes.
Only after they were finished did Le Cheng understand that kissing the Adam’s apple was not a pacifier at all. Instead, it stimulated Zhou Shirui. While being wrapped up and taken to shower, his entire body was as limp as jelly. He tilted his head back and lightly bit that protrusion in retaliation.
The next morning, after waking up, Le Cheng sat at the dining table, fidgeting restlessly because he was uncomfortable. When he heard Zhou Shirui’s footsteps, he immediately complained, “Do you know how excessive you were yesterday…”
Zhou Shirui was heading out. He was wearing a black shirt, every button fastened without missing a single one. Hearing him, he bent slightly and leaned closer, inevitably allowing Le Cheng to see the suggestive red mark on his Adam’s apple.
Le Cheng immediately fell silent. He turned his head away, his cheeks red as he took a mouthful of porridge.
Zhou Shirui took his reaction in, lightly tugging at the corner of his lips as if deliberately asking, “What?”
“Um, are you going out?” Le Cheng asked, pretending to be calm.
“Yes,” Zhou Shirui said.
Le Cheng put down his bowl and tried to stand, only for Zhou Shirui to press down on his shoulder and make him sit back down. “Whatever it is, finish eating first.”
“Okay.” Le Cheng had no choice but to speed up.
After eating, Le Cheng turned around and took a bottle of concealer from the bedroom drawer. It was the same one he had bought last time to cover the marks on his collarbone when he went home.
When Le Cheng had bought it, he had complained that Zhou Shirui was a little puppy because he had to wear foundation in the summer, saying that only a little puppy would love biting people so much. He had also sternly warned Zhou Shirui that he was not allowed to leave marks whenever Le Cheng was about to go home.
But at this moment.
Le Cheng gave a light cough, pulled Zhou Shirui directly over, and squeezed out a little concealer. He heard Zhou Shirui ask again, “What?”
Le Cheng said somewhat awkwardly, “It’s just… left a tiny little mark.”
Zhou Shirui’s tone was as calm as ever, but the corners of his lips lifted almost imperceptibly. “Where?”
Le Cheng knew he was definitely doing it on purpose. Somewhat embarrassed and annoyed, he glared at him, shoved the concealer into his hand, and turned to leave.
Only then did Zhou Shirui pull him back, soothingly stroking his face. Seeing that he had gotten what he wanted, Le Cheng obediently squeezed out some concealer and covered the mark for him, then handed him the mirror. He tilted his face up and blinked his eyes, as if asking for praise.
Zhou Shirui wanted to laugh but held it back. He touched his face again, his fingers sliding to the edge of his lips, and repeated something he had said before. “Chengcheng, are you a puppy?”
Le Cheng’s cheeks visibly reddened. He slapped his hand away and refused to admit it. “You’re the puppy!”
Zhou Shiru: “Whoever bites people is the puppy.”
Attacked with his own words from before, Le Cheng huffed and puffed for a long while, unable to think of anything to say in response. He snatched the concealer from Zhou Shirui’s hand and ran away, as if escaping the situation.
***
Le Cheng was, in the literal sense, someone who didn’t like getting handsy.
But ever since he miraculously discovered that Zhou Shirui’s sensitive spot was actually his Adam’s apple, he had entered his itchy-fingers phase, always liking to poke it from time to time. He was incredibly annoying.
At first, he only did it when the two of them were curled up together watching TV. Le Cheng would suddenly tilt his head up and kiss it once, and when he felt Zhou Shirui stiffen slightly, he couldn’t help laughing out loud. Zhou Shirui, having reacted, would pin him down on the sofa and kiss him until he could barely breathe.
After that, Le Cheng got smarter. He began launching surprise attacks whenever Zhou Shirui was using the computer, suddenly leaning in to kiss him once before quickly slipping away.
This method reduced the chances of him being kissed until he couldn’t breathe, but if he got caught, it greatly increased the chances of his butt getting spanked.
After playing this game only a few times, Le Cheng stopped enjoying it because he kept getting caught.
Since he was completely incapable of getting revenge through physical strength, he turned his attention to Zhou Shirui whenever he was away on business.
After constantly working things out between them, Zhou Shirui now reported everything whenever he traveled for work, without ever holding him to a different standard.
With the video call running, Le Cheng chatted with Zhou Shirui here and there, including but not limited to what he had eaten for lunch and when he would be back. He also had to listen to Zhou Shirui warn him to go to bed earlier and not stay up late playing games.
Le Cheng reluctantly answered with a series of “Mm-hm, mm-hm,” before pausing and saying, “I have something to show you. Wait a second.”
With that, he disappeared from view.
Zhou Shirui’s gaze shifted away from the phone to the computer. Before long, he heard a faint rustling sound.
He looked back at the screen. Le Cheng had already returned, his expression pure and innocent. The lighting was bright, but there was now a black leather collar around that snow-white neck. Its silver buckle was delicate and beautiful, and a small bell hung from the center of the collar, suspended directly beneath that fair, delicate Adam’s apple.
Zhou Shirui’s breathing briefly caught.
“How is it?” Le Cheng fiddled with the bell with his slender fingers, making a faint jingling sound. “Does it look good?”
There was no obvious change in Zhou Shirui’s expression on the screen. He simply looked at him. “When did you buy that?”
“I’m not telling you.” Le Cheng tilted his head and smiled slyly. “What? You like it?”
“Mm.” Zhou Shirui admitted without hesitation. “I like it.”
Le Cheng seemed a little shy too. He picked at the strap with his finger and asked, “…Want to touch it?”
Zhou Shirui’s Adam’s apple rolled once. After a moment, he said, “Mm.”
His voice was low and slightly hoarse, his dark eyes tinged with restraint.
Le Cheng wanted to laugh but was shy at the same time. He kept showing himself to Zhou Shirui for a while, even making a huge sacrifice by putting on cat ears to show them off. Then, when Zhou Shirui was completely caught off guard, he suddenly hung up the call.
And when Zhou Shirui called him back, he simply hung up again.
It was practically a perfect critical hit. He was being incredibly mischievous.
Only after doing all this did he take everything off, plant his hands on his hips, and burst into laughter. He finally felt completely satisfied, both physically and emotionally.
He really loved kissing Zhou Shirui’s Adam’s apple, but Zhou Shirui wouldn’t let him. So, determined to let Zhou Shirui experience the feeling of only being able to look but not touch, Le Cheng spent two days plotting and enduring, finally coming up with this grand plan.
Because he knew Zhou Shirui wouldn’t be back for another three days, Le Cheng wasn’t worried at all. According to his plan, by the time Zhou Shirui returned three days later, his temper would definitely have cooled down, and they could happily put the whole thing behind them.
The thought of it made him so happy that Le Cheng even hummed a little tune as he went downstairs to feed the cat.
During this time, he refused to answer Zhou Shirui’s calls. And when Zhou Shirui messaged him telling him to pick up, he even smugly and arrogantly replied: [Nope.]
[Nope nope nope.]
He even sent a bobbing-and-shaking cat sticker.
Thinking he had nothing left to worry about, Le Cheng was still startled out of his wits the next afternoon when he heard the door open. He jumped up from the living room and ran to the entryway.
Zhou Shirui was wrapped in a chill from outside, his expression cold. With one hand he closed the door, while with the other he undid a button. Le Cheng was somewhat stunned. Before he could even speak, Zhou Shirui grabbed his chin and kissed him.
The kiss was fierce and intense, as though he wanted to devour him whole.
He lifted Le Cheng by the waist and pressed him down onto the low cabinet. Le Cheng kicked Zhou Shirui’s leg lightly with his toes, not using any force, more like acting spoiled. Zhou Shirui’s broad palm gripped his thigh, his loose pajama pants already pushed up. His five fingers sank deeply into the soft flesh, squeezing hard enough that the flesh even spilled between his fingers.
They kissed all the way from the entryway to the bedroom. Le Cheng was supported by Zhou Shirui’s arm, and when he twisted nervously, Zhou Shirui, his face cold, gave his butt a somewhat rough smack.
Le Cheng cried out from the slap and didn’t dare move anymore. It wasn’t until he was pressed onto the bed that he bit his finger and cried pitifully.
And yet, at this moment, Zhou Shirui still made him find the collar and cat ears he had worn earlier, put them on him himself, tugged on the bell, and gently squeezed his neck. He went so far as to carry him over to the mirror and ask whether he looked good.
Le Cheng kept shaking his head and turned away, burying his face in the crook of Zhou Shirui’s neck, his eyes wet and glistening. Only then did Zhou Shirui lower his head, his breath brushing against Le Cheng’s cheek, and speak for him. “Chengcheng, you look so pretty.”
Le Cheng didn’t know exactly when it finally stopped. He was so sleepy that he could barely keep his eyes open. Even after falling asleep, Zhou Shirui scooped him into his arms. Sleepy and annoyed, Le Cheng pouted and mumbled, “So annoying.”
The next day, Le Cheng ignored Zhou Shirui’s attempts to persuade him otherwise and threw away the collar and cat ears he had bought. He didn’t even want the packaging. He also wasn’t very happy as he accused Zhou Shirui of going too far, and Zhou Shirui good-naturedly accepted all of his complaints.
After comfortably ordering Zhou Shirui around for quite some time, Le Cheng was finally appeased. With his tendency to remember the good food but forget the lesson, he turned back into a little cat, curled up in Zhou Shirui’s arms, and asked whether he could kiss his Adam’s apple.
Zhou Shirui agreed. Le Cheng immediately stopped being unhappy, happily kissed him once, and then scampered off to play the game Zhou Shirui had made for him.
Zhou Shirui watched his retreating figure, his gaze becoming tender and gentle. He thought to himself, How is he so easy to coax? After all this time, he’s still so obedient.
