After Becoming a High-Risk Master, I Flipped the Script Chapter 135

Mo Xuanli had almost entirely replaced Yu Chun’s position—braced over Gu Baiqing—but for a moment, he didn’t dare to move at all.

His red eyes glowed, his face filled with fury and killing intent, bloodlust spreading like a Shura from h*ll.

Those eyes locked straight onto the stunned Gu Baiqing—on his bound wrists, the wounds on his neck, the ill-fitting robe on his body, the taut legs under the hem, and the blood dripping from his thigh onto the stone bed.

That entire scene made Mo Xuanli’s mind go blank.

Gu Baiqing opened his mouth to speak, but no sound came out. Anxiously, he jerked his arms to signal Mo Xuanli to help undo the collar around his neck.

But the clinking of chains didn’t wake Mo Xuanli.

His gaze trembled, his whole body shaking uncontrollably; the veins on his neck stood out one by one, as though he’d suffered a crushing blow.

“Mas… Master… am I… too late?”

That voice—almost breaking into a sob—made Gu Baiqing’s face darken with exasperation. He instantly knew Mo Xuanli had misunderstood. Seeing that something was very wrong with him, Gu Baiqing tried to think of a way to calm him—but then caught sight of movement behind Mo Xuanli. Someone was attacking!

He immediately kicked sideways, bumping Mo Xuanli’s hip to warn him.

But Mo Xuanli’s eyes didn’t shift even an inch. He simply reached back, seized Yu Chun’s head in one grasp.

Yu Chun gasped, thrashing like a clown, struggling desperately and shouting—but in the next instant, flames engulfed his entire body.

Yu Chun let out a shrill scream—yet there was no real fire, only illusion. Still, he could feel the agony of being burned alive, his skin flushing and charring as if truly aflame.

Perhaps his screams were too grating—Mo Xuanli crushed his jaw with one hand. Slowly, as if suppressing some violent emotion, he turned his head to look down at Yu Chun. His gaze was that of Death itself—cold, merciless, exuding such terrifying pressure that even amid agony, Yu Chun felt his soul tremble in fear. He finally realized he had provoked something truly monstrous.

But regret was already useless.

The phantom flames followed Mo Xuanli’s gaze, finally pouring into Yu Chun’s mouth and into his body.

In an instant, Yu Chun’s eyes bulged—his face contorted in pain, his body convulsing violently.

His flesh seemed to go soft before the eye, as though his body wasn’t burning—but his organs and bones were being consumed bit by bit.

The agony drove Yu Chun into spasms of madness. Even with the mermaid bead’s boost, he couldn’t withstand such torment.

He had thought his future as a powerful cultivator lay before him—he had thought he would win beauty and glory. But he gained nothing—only the h*llfire that devoured him.

Until, in the reflection of his wide, bulging eyes, even flames flickered within—his convulsions ceased, body slack.

Then, a black tail lashed out, wrapping tightly around Yu Chun’s body.

“Leave him to me.”

Gu Baiqing turned and saw another figure nearby—Ao Hang, holding the injured Three Bean. His expression was dark with fury. The barely-breathing Yu Chun would surely meet a miserable end in Ao Hang’s hands.

But Gu Baiqing no longer had the mind to care—because right now, Mo Xuanli looked even more terrifying.

The demonic energy value surged wildly—Mo Xuanli was undergoing demonization.

Gu Baiqing tried desperately to open his mouth and say something; even when he used his leg, crushed against the side, to repeatedly strike Mo Xuanli’s waist, it drew no reaction.

Mo Xuanli only fumbled in panic, his trembling hand groping over Gu Baiqing’s body as though checking for something—yet he didn’t dare to touch too much. That pitiful look of his was like someone who had accidentally damaged a precious treasure he had cherished for so long.

He wanted desperately to turn things back to the way they were—but time could not be reversed.

“No… no, this can’t be… it shouldn’t be like this… it shouldn’t! Master… my Master…”

Mo Xuanli muttered frantically, nearly losing control. When he lifted his eyes again, the red in them had deepened to a dark crimson.

The deeper the red, the stronger the demonic corruption.

Mo Xuanli felt as if his heart was about to explode. Some immense power inside him was breaking free—his head throbbed, his body ached, every part of him hurt—but what hurt the most was his heart. He could hardly breathe.

His Master… his Master, his Baiqing—how could anyone else touch him…

He wanted to kill. Whom? It didn’t matter. He wanted to kill everyone—until the fire burning his soul was completely extinguished, until everyone paid the price.

He wanted his Master… safe and sound, standing before him, unharmed.

He wanted—

Suddenly, a softness pressed against his tense jaw.

It was as if the wind fanning the flames had abruptly stilled.

Mo Xuanli’s spiraling emotions were yanked to a halt. He froze, startled and bewildered.

Just as he was about to lower his head, a sharp pain shot through his jaw.

When he looked down, he saw his Master biting him.

Gu Baiqing had no other choice—his hands and neck were restrained, kicking had no effect, and the angle of his head was limited. He’d thought about using a headbutt, but that wouldn’t reach—so he could only… make contact… somehow.

When that didn’t work either, he could only resort to biting.

Sure enough, Mo Xuanli’s panicked frenzy paused; he looked down at him, clearly stunned. It seemed to have worked.

Gu Baiqing released his bite, feeling slightly embarrassed as he looked at the row of teeth marks. He was about to mouth something— but the next instant, he lost the chance to say anything.

Mo Xuanli seemed to be stimulated and suddenly pressed down, blocking everything, leaving only invasion.

He wanted to change everything about his master, put his own mark on him, and not allow anyone to covet him, touch him, or see him. He wanted a master that belonged only to him. Mo Xuanli’s sudden rebellion left Gu Baiqing bewildered. He was a little confused. After all, a demonized Mo Xuanli could indeed lose control and act recklessly, but he remembered that this only happened when he was advancing. While an angry Mo Xuanli might demonize, he should be conscious. However, Mo Xuanli’s demonization was limited, so this might not be the case.

Anyway, Mo Xuanli was doing something that he could never do. Gu Baiqing was angry and wanted to turn his head, but he was pressed to the stone bed by the kiss and could not move at all.

If your hands don’t work, then use your legs. This time, I’m not just smashing, I’m going to kick you awake.

But before he could move, Mo Xuanli suddenly reached out and pulled, as if trying to take off the robe he had secretly worn. Mo Xuanli seemed to hate this robe so much that he didn’t want to take it off or pull it, but to tear it apart directly.

How could that be possible? This robe was large enough to cover his body. If it was torn by Mo Xuanli, wouldn’t his current condition be exposed? He doesn’t have such a p*rverted hobby as to do this in the enemy’s territory.

Gu Baiqing panicked and tried to stop him, but the only thing he could use were his two legs. But when he was desperately trying to restrict someone’s behavior. Suddenly he realized this posture, this… It seems like he touched the metal waist belt, f*ck!

He slid down and was shocked in an instant.

Mo Xuanli really had demonized—he’d turned into that unreasonable, biting little mad dog again!

Gu Baiqing hurriedly tried to scramble backward in a panic.

But Mo Xuanli seemed to freeze for a moment—then grabbed the back of Gu Baiqing’s knee, not letting him retreat. As he straightened to kneel upright and looked down, his hand happened to land right on the place where blood was flowing.

Gu Baiqing’s face flushed completely red. He had no idea what Mo Xuanli was looking at, but judging from the position—d*mn it! If you dare—if you dare—I’ll cripple you!

But unlike when he’d faced Yu Chun’s assault, this time his head was still clear. To stop his disciple from losing control, he couldn’t afford to unleash his spiritual power; taking advantage of Mo Xuanli’s moment of daze, he had to act fast and kick him away.

Yet the very next second, Gu Baiqing froze.

Mo Xuanli suddenly lowered his head and, following the trail of blood down Gu Baiqing’s leg, began cleaning it in the most direct, least wasteful way possible—moving upward, higher and higher, until the hem of the robe lifted slightly, stopping right at the wound.

The sharp pain of the wound mixed with the strange tingling sensation made every cell in Gu Baiqing’s body feel like it was being scorched by heat.

His whole body trembled—this was bad.

Danger!

Panic surged—utter panic. It was as if that one act had drained all the strength from his limbs.

He turned his head frantically, looking around for a way to stop this, only to see not far away—Ao Hang, wide-eyed in shock, clutching Three Bean tightly in his arms—and at his feet, a pile of ashes.

A wave of shame hit Gu Baiqing at being watched—but he bit it down, knowing this was the only way to save himself. Yet the next moment, Ao Hang hugged Three Bean and turned around, just turned right around and left!!!!

Are you two in this together?! You’re really pretending you didn’t see such a scene?!

Gu Baiqing’s mind raced, calling out to the system for help.

The system reported: Demonization value has stopped rising, and is now dropping. Situation no longer critical.

—Ahhh! So you’re helping the villain now?! What’s next—“Very good, please continue”?

Heaven above, someone save me—

Suddenly, a thunderous boom shook the air.

This wasn’t an ordinary sound—the entire mountainside was trembling.

It felt like some overwhelming power was seeping out from within—dark, vile, and terrifying enough to send chills down the spine.

Perhaps it was an instinctive reaction to danger — Mo Xuanli abruptly halted all movement, wrapping his arms tightly around Gu Baiqing, wary and on guard.

In the next instant, the earth quaked and the mountains shook. Rocks flew in all directions, and the stone bed beneath them — along with the entire floor — suddenly gave way and dropped.

This time, Mo Xuanli seemed to have regained his senses. Seeing Gu Baiqing’s body dragged down by the iron chains as they fell, he lifted his hand — the collar and chains instantly turned to dust.

Gu Baiqing finally regained his freedom, yet Mo Xuanli still held him as they plunged into the endless darkness below.

Gu Baiqing had thought Mo Xuanli would immediately use Void Spirit Space, or at least cast some spell for self-preservation, but the other man made no move.

Instead, God Nine Transformations suddenly transformed into a spinning parasol above them, deflecting the falling rocks away.

When they finally landed, a faint wind spell softened their descent — yet in the next moment, a pile of stones rained down, burying them in a narrow crevice.

Mo Xuanli’s weight pressed heavily against Gu Baiqing. Hearing a muffled grunt from above, Gu Baiqing thought a rock might have hit him. Just as he was about to speak, Mo Xuanli said, “Master, don’t use spiritual power — it’s a spirit-gathering array.”

Gu Baiqing froze. A spirit-gathering array? No wonder Mo Xuanli had only been able to use a fraction of his power earlier. Judging by his reaction, this array was far stronger than the one beneath Linxun Town — powerful enough to suppress even Mo Xuanli’s energy.

But Gu Baiqing’s mind suddenly went cold and sharp.

“You’re awake?” His voice came out icy. Though the darkness hid everything, the man on top of him clearly stiffened.

“Master, I…”

“What do you remember?” Gu Baiqing pressed.

Mo Xuanli was silent for a long moment before saying hoarsely, “Master, I’m sorry. I was late… I—”

“Stop. What nonsense are you imagining? I’m fine. Just had my robes torn by some shameless villain, nothing more! Do you really think I was powerless to fight back? If you hadn’t shown up, Yu Chun would already be dead by my hand.” Gu Baiqing’s voice was sharp and urgent — he hated being misunderstood like this. Did Mo Xuanli think him some helpless weakling? The only person who’d ever gotten the better of him was Mo Xuanli himself!

“Your… your neck…” Mo Xuanli’s chest felt tight, his mind full of questions, yet he ignored the risk of angering his master.

“That was Three Bean — he bit me to break the illusion.” Gu Baiqing snapped.

“Your leg… the blood…”

“That was Yu Chun’s doing, when I was helping Fu Ye and Yu Yingwan.”

“…Then the clothes you’re wearing…”

“My own are still with the merfolk, used as a disguise. You really have an active imagination — where do all these questions come from? I told you nothing happened!” Gu Baiqing was nearly furious.

Especially those last two questions — remembering what had happened earlier made him want to explode.

“Fine, you’ve asked enough. Now it’s my turn — what were you doing just now? You—”

“Master… what are you saying?” Mo Xuanli interrupted softly. “I saw you like that, thought Yu Chun had harmed you. I got angry, dizzy… then it felt like I killed someone, and after that, I was falling with you.”

The straightforward tone left Gu Baiqing momentarily speechless.

Yet that calm explanation somehow deepened his suspicion.

Could it be… he remembers everything but doesn’t dare admit it?

“Master,” Mo Xuanli suddenly said, voice low and heavy, “did I lose control again? Did I… hurt you?”

Gu Baiqing frowned slightly. Then, thinking it through, perhaps the foolish pup truly didn’t have the guts. That kiss — best not to bring it up. And as for the blood… no normal person would do that, right? It must’ve been an unconscious act during his frenzy.

Was he becoming numb to all this? Somehow, Gu Baiqing found himself thinking it hadn’t been that extreme. No need to make a fuss — since the other didn’t remember, as a master, he ought to preserve his dignity and not mention it again.

“You did lose control a bit,” he said finally. “You must be careful.”

Mo Xuanli froze. “Master… am I showing signs of demonization?”

So he really doesn’t know? Gu Baiqing thought for a moment, then said, “It’s manageable for now. But losing control of your emotions is never good. Whatever happens in the future, you must stay calm and think clearly.” Perhaps the demonic blood made his emotions amplify too easily — no wonder he flared up so quickly.

“I’m sorry, Master… I’ve troubled you again,” Mo Xuanli murmured.

Maybe it was because his face had turned toward him, but Gu Baiqing suddenly felt warm breath brush against his sensitive neck in the darkness.

He abruptly remembered — this man was still lying on top of him! Completely improper! Even with the spirit array limiting them, they should have adjusted by now.

“Move aside!” Gu Baiqing barked, his tone sharp and urgent.

Mo Xuanli obeyed immediately — but as he shifted in the dark, both of them froze. Silence fell, tense and strange.

So long had passed — they’d even fallen from the sky — and he was still full of energy. Amazing. But could he at least move somewhere else?

Perfect — right at the dangerous spot. It felt like being held at swordpoint by a live weapon.

All right, calm down. He probably thinks I didn’t notice. If I don’t say anything, maybe it’ll be less awkward.

At last, Mo Xuanli managed to move away, their bodies no longer touching.

“Can you expand this space a little?” Gu Baiqing asked.

“I’ll try.” Mo Xuanli began to rise, but in the darkness, his hand brushed against smooth skin — his master’s leg.

Gu Baiqing gave a small jolt but said nothing. Like before, he simply pretended not to notice. Knowing his master would be angry if he overstepped, Mo Xuanli focused instead on cautiously using a spell to widen a small barrier around them.

He was about to summon a small flame for light when his master stopped him.

By then, Gu Baiqing had already sat up.

“There should be clothes in your storage pouch,” he said evenly. “Take out a set.”

Right — Master isn’t wearing anything…

Mo Xuanli knelt obediently to the side, yet he felt a sudden wave of heat rise through him. The calm he’d regained with the calming mantra moments ago seemed on the verge of burning away again.

“Yes,” he said quickly, reaching for the storage pouch. Since he was the one responsible for looking after his master, of course there were clothes inside — and his master’s garments were always of the finest material, in styles he knew by touch alone.

But when his hand slipped inside the pouch, it stopped halfway. Remembering what his master was wearing now, Mo Xuanli’s mouth tightened into a straight line. After a moment’s hesitation, he finally drew out a set of clothes and handed them over.

Gu Baiqing took the garments and began dressing in the dark. It was terribly awkward, putting on clothes in such a cramped space with his disciple right there — it felt almost like after the act. But not wearing anything would’ve been even more awkward.

He slipped into the trousers without much issue, but when he tied the sash and put on the outer robe, something immediately felt off.

“Strange… Light a fire.”

A small flame flickered to life. He glanced down — the familiar white robe, the faintly familiar scent — and at once Gu Baiqing felt completely wrong, wrapped up as if restrained, even more tense than before. He had already changed into the full set, from inner to outer layers. Frowning, he looked toward Mo Xuanli.

In the dim firelight, Mo Xuanli sat there blankly staring at him. The flames danced in his deep, emotion-filled eyes, reflecting light and shadow — unnervingly vivid.

“Master,” he murmured, “you’re wearing… my clothes?”

After Becoming a High-Risk Master, I Flipped the Script

Status: Ongoing
Voice actor Gu Baiqing wakes up one day to find himself transmigrated—into none other than the Master shou character he once voiced. Shocking! This was that ultra-risque novel full of “pushing-the-limits” plots and chapter after chapter of predatory tension! In the original story, his disciple Mo Xuanli, after turning demonic, was consumed with all kinds of unspeakable desires for his master Gu Baiqing— And he acted on every single one of them. He tricked him body and soul, leading to a torturous love-hate relationship filled with mutual obsession and emotional wreckage. So now, every time Gu Baiqing sees his gentle and obedient disciple, he shivers. In Gu Baiqing’s eyes, Mo Xuanli is nothing but a vicious wolf wearing a loyal dog’s skin—always secretly thinking about betraying and dominating his master. Determined not to fall into the same plot as the Master in the novel, Gu Baiqing is determined to not bend. In these types of Master novels, the masters always end up doomed because they’re too good to their beautiful, strong, and tragically tormented disciples. So— While others offer hands-on teaching, he lets his disciple run wild. While others shield their disciples, he stays uninvolved. While others take the punishment for their disciples, he grabs the whip and personally dishes it out. He absolutely refuses to let Mo Xuanli say one good thing about him.He must crush any improper thoughts in the bud. Of course, he can’t go too far. A blackened Mo Xuanli is seriously scary. All Gu Baiqing wants is to peacefully be a cold, aloof, and proper teacher while completing the system’s cultivation task. Really, it’s a legit teaching task! But why is Mo Xuanli looking at him more and more strangely, with eyes full of complicated emotion, as if he’s constantly holding something back? Until one day, Gu Baiqing is hit with a horrifying realization…. He may have transmigrated into the wrong book. This is actually a BG (boy-girl) world?! Mo Xuanli never had any betrayal or taboo thoughts—he’s truly a model disciple, loyal, pure, and filial! Overjoyed, Gu Baiqing thinks he no longer needs to worry about being “eyed” by his disciple. That is… until Mo Xuanli, finally pushed to the brink by his master’s constant cold-and-hot treatment, eyes reddening, snaps. The loyal dog bares its fangs, traps his master, and lowers his head to bite at his nape with a hoarse voice laced with danger and heat: “Master, you can treat me worse if you want, I won’t get mad. But if you ever abandon me… I’ll make you pay. Severely. Gu Baiqing, who just ditched Mo Xuanli five minutes ago: He’s got a soft temper. Probably just bluffing with words, right? First night of rebellion: This disciple is not normal!! Nth night, master’s back injury: Are you really sure I transmigrated into the wrong book?!
