After Transmigrating into a Book, I Became the Strongest Omega Chapter 19

Chapter 19: Beating

At the door of Zhu Di’s office at the tower, Hanchester knocked twice, then stepped back two steps. A voice from inside responded, and Dong Du and Hanchester exchanged glances before forcefully pushing the door open.

Zhu Di sat behind his desk, constantly marking on documents with a pen, seemingly not intending to pay attention to Dong Du. Dong Du had initially wanted to make a move as soon as he entered, but seeing how hard Zhu Di was working, he didn’t dare to disturb.

After stopping the pen and checking again, Zhu Di finally lifted his head from the documents. He glanced at Dong Du and said, “Today, I met your homeroom teacher. He suggested that I let you drop out, saying you’re not suitable for an omega specialized school.”

Dong Du, who was not in the mood to exert any kind of intimidation at the moment, happily echoed, “I also think I’m not suitable. The school only teaches about giving birth, and I don’t want to have children. Dropping out is the best option. When can I drop out? Can I skip class tomorrow?”

Zhu Di’s index finger tapped on the desktop, and without any curve in his straight mouth, he said, “I disagree.”

Dong Du was stunned for a moment. “Why?”

“Your older brother sent you to Black Gold Fortress to change your bad habits. If you continue like you did in the beginning, when the Empire needs to form alliances, no one will want to marry you.” Zhu Di had already taken out another document. “Today, I called you here just to inform you. Attend your classes properly, and don’t cause trouble in school.”

“Why do you have the right?” Dong Du sneered and slammed Zhu Di’s desk, “I want to learn knowledge that’s useful, not about how to give birth and take care of an alpha’s emotions. Even if I have to go to school, at least I should learn something useful.”

Zhu Di remained indifferent, looking at the documents. “Leave.”

Dong Du, seeing that he wasn’t being heard, left with his pent-up frustration. Hanchester was still by the door, but Dong Du found even him displeasing at the moment. He silently returned to his room.

Hanchester didn’t follow. Instead, he entered Zhu Di’s office.

Raptor was waiting at the door, and as soon as Dong Du entered, it slid up, its mechanical arm extending to shake Dong Du’s hand. “Master, are you okay?”

Dong Du hugged Raptor tightly, feeling both wronged and resilient. “I’m fine. That rotten general is probably afraid I’ll surpass him in the future. What a scoundrel. I’ll never forgive him.”

“Master, you’ve worked hard.” Raptor patted Dong Du’s back. “Should we try contacting His Majesty? He is, after all, your real brother. Maybe he won’t be so heartless.”

Dong Du felt that there was a chance Xi Yuan might be that heartless, but he clung to a sliver of hope and decided to call Xi Yuan’s smart ring.

Ordinary people didn’t have the authority to call Xi Yuan’s smart ring, but Dong Du’s identity authentication allowed him to bypass this defense. After a long time, the call was answered, but the tone was not gentle. “What is it?”

“Older Brother.” Dong Du called softly. There seemed to be a pause on the other side, so Dong Du continued, “Older Brother, I don’t want to go to the omega specialized school. Can you ask Zhu Di to arrange for me to drop out?”

“Xi Yuan, is Dong Du talking to you?” A soft voice from the other side, “I brought you milk. It’s so late, and you’re still working. Please take care of yourself.”

Xi Yuan, busy talking to Xia En, did not respond to Dong Du for a long time. In the end, he only hastily said a sentence, warning not to be willful, then hung up.

Dong Du stared expressionlessly at the night sky outside the window. In his heart, he cursed, stupid cannon fodder. Even his brother didn’t care. He deserved to be deceived. Hmph!

The smart ring beeped, and Qin Yu sent the agreed time and place for the fight to Dong Du.

Qin Yu was a man of action when it came to underhanded moves. The agreed-upon time for the fight was tonight, at a boxing arena.

Dong Du sneered. He changed into a convenient sports hoodie, put on a cap, and left. Raptor slid after him. “Master, take me with you.”

According to the setting, the housekeeper robot was absolutely loyal, and it wasn’t possible for it to tattle. So, Dong Du really took Raptor with him. On the way, he took the opportunity to educate, “Can you robots learn? Watch closely and learn a lot. Your name is Raptor, so you must be formidable.”

The small robot received its first learning command from its master. An expression of determination appeared on its LED screen. “Master, rest assured, I will learn well.”

The duty soldiers at the tower saw Dong Du taking his housekeeping robot out, but they yawned indifferently. Although alphas on the patrol cruiser talked about the little prince differently from the rumors, saying he was skilled and even participated in rescues, they didn’t believe it. He was just an omega, strong at most in carrying water buckets.

When Dong Du arrived at the boxing arena, Qin Yu was already there, accompanied by several alpha bodyguards.

As soon as Dong Du and Raptor entered, the doors of the boxing arena were locked with a loud bang.

Qin Yu sat in a chair, legs crossed. “Idiot, you really dare to come.”

He wasn’t alone; there were several alpha bodyguards behind him.

“Clearly agreed to a one-on-one, and you bring so many people. No sportsmanship?” Dong Du took off his cap and placed it on Raptor’s head, then sneered, “Well, let’s just consider this a group fight today.”

Qin Yu’s face changed several times. Finally, unable to find words to retort Dong Du, he could only say sarcastically, “Omegas won’t personally fight. Is it because you don’t have bodyguards that you dare to talk like this? Trash abandoned by the Empire, who cares if I beat you to death today? It would be cheaper to turn you into someone like Li Sheng and then give you to an alpha to play with every day. After all, you’re so provocative, even seducing a general!”

Whether anyone cared about this issue made Dong Du contemplate for a long time. Most people in this world considered him a morally corrupt scum. But…

“Some people care,” Dong Du answered extremely seriously, “I have friends, Hanchester, Li Sheng, Han Lin, and Xue Nancheng…”

He almost counted everyone on the patrol cruiser in front of Qin Yu.

“Shut up!” Qin Yu angrily cursed, “Friends with Li Sheng, so are the others like him, gaining favor through sleeping?”

“What?” Dong Du’s pupils suddenly tightened, looking at Qin Yu expressionlessly. “What did you say?”

Startled by Dong Du’s sudden change, Qin Yu took a moment to react. “This guy is crazy. Beat him to death!”

“Young master…” After all, they were alphas, and there was some hesitation.

“Follow the young master’s orders.” Dong Du muttered as if talking to himself, his eyes unusually bright, and his face hidden in the shadows. “Insult my friend, if you don’t make a move, I’ll kill him today.”

“Kill him, kill him for me!” Qin Yu screamed in desperation.

The alpha bodyguards were also stimulated by Dong Du. One of them stepped forward, throwing a heavy punch.

Dong Du crouched under his arm, then turned around, kicking the man out, making a loud crash against the thick wall.

Was this guy really an omega? The bodyguards were collectively shocked, but Qin Yu was screaming, “All together, didn’t you see? He’s not an omega at all; he’s insane! Didn’t you see how he looked at me just now?”

The alpha bodyguards didn’t hesitate any longer, charging forward. The battle became chaotic, and Qin Yu couldn’t see clearly. He just felt a chill running down his spine, as if a cold wind enveloped him, mixed with a hint of peach sweetness, yet seemed deadly.

“Darn it, can’t win. Suppress him with pheromones.”

One of the bodyguards suggested, and all the bodyguards released pheromones towards Dong Du. Dong Du just frowned briefly, then disdainfully said, “Stinks.”

Pheromone suppression was useless against Dong Du. After a short while, all the bodyguards brought by Qin Yu were lying on the ground, struggling to stand up.

Dong Du approached Qin Yu step by step. Qin Yu cowered like a quail. Dong Du slammed his palm against the wall near Qin Yu’s ear, negotiating softly, “Don’t insult people in the future, got it?”

Qin Yu was already in a state of collapse, nodding repeatedly, muttering, “I won’t dare, I won’t dare…”

Expressionless, Dong Du left the boxing arena. After the fight, the pent-up frustration in his heart dissipated a lot. He didn’t notice a small red light flashing on Raptor; the video upload had ended.

When he returned to his room for a shower, the Star Network had exploded.

“Qin Yu and the little prince fought for the general?”

“A one-against-six! Who dares to say this kid is an omega?”

“Six alpha pheromones couldn’t suppress him; little prince, the pride of the omega!”

“So, with just one video, does this mean the matter of damaging gland tissue doesn’t exist? Are these alphas actors hired?”

“Replying to upstairs, let me tell you, damaging gland tissue is trash, but look closely; that’s Qin Yu. Would he act for you?”

Hanchester knocked on Dong Du’s door, holding a tray. Dong Du had just come out of the shower, and steam was still rising from his body. His small curly hair adhered to his cheek, and he looked pale and milky. There was no sign that he had just been in a brawl.

“Did you bring me food?” Dong Du opened the door and let Hanchester in.

A true gentleman should have stopped at the door, but Hanchester paused on his tiptoes, still entering. He touched Dong Du’s wet hair, placed the tray on the table, and had Raptor bring a towel. He gently wiped Dong Du’s hair.

“What did you say to Zhu Di?”

“I took the liberty of writing the general as the contact information of the parents. He asked me for the reason,” Hanchester sighed, “I just wanted him to see your shining points, maybe it could help you enter the military. But who would have thought that Your Highness needed to bring your parents because of a mistake.”

Dong Du remained silent with a guilty conscience. Hanchester looked at his slightly blushing profile and changed the topic to avoid further awkwardness, “By the way, Dr. Xu Yiling’s research results are out. The related matters will probably be published in this month’s government disclosure. We may have to go out for inspection again.”

“Can I come along?” Dong Du finished the last bite of his meal, looking at Hanchester with hopeful eyes.

“I certainly want to bring you.” Hanchester rubbed his hair, helplessly saying, “But that’s for the general to decide.”

Dong Du became displeased again, but Hanchester couldn’t comfort him because it was a decision beyond his control. He left with the empty tray, but as soon as he stepped out, his own smart ring started ringing.

“The government disclosure is moved up to tomorrow morning,” Zhu Di’s emotionless voice sounded.
