Little peach, you will cry…
Dong Du opened his eyes to complete darkness, feeling a noticeable constraint on his face. He raised his hand and touched a ribbon covering his face. There seemed to be no one around, and there was no sound. He tried to remove the ribbon but had his hand grabbed by someone.
This person’s hand felt as hot as a piece of red-hot charcoal. Dong Du quickly pulled his hand back, immediately warned by this person, “Don’t move.”
It was Novisane.
Dong Du: “…”
It’s not that he has prejudice, but Novisane seemed really abnormal. Who would cover a captive’s eyes and lay them on the bed without any apparent blindness or injury?
Uncertain about the current situation, Dong Du didn’t resist further. Novisane held his hand like playing with a piece of jade, pinching from the pinky all the way to the thumb. Then he chuckled, “You are holding such a heavy thing, but there’s not a hint of callus on your hands. The Omega gene is truly powerful.”
Dong Du had nothing to say. He wanted to retract his hand, but Novisane showed no intention of letting go. In the pitch-black environment, his sense of touch was unusually sharp, and being pinched made him numb all over. Frowning, he asked, “Are you done?”
“What’s wrong?” Novisane asked him, seemingly not understanding his meaning. In a kind tone, he asked, “Do you have any requests?”
“Can you stop pinching?” Dong Du sighed helplessly. He didn’t have the strength to pull his hand back, so he had to negotiate. However, Novisane not only didn’t loosen his grip but chuckled and trailed his fingers from the back of Dong Du’s hand up to his arm.
Dong Du, feeling itchy, kept withdrawing his hand. Since this person didn’t let go, he didn’t bother saying more, only asking, “Did you send Gneville and the others back? I want to make sure.”
“You can communicate with them.” Novisane pinched his fingers and pressed them onto his other hand. The smart ring quietly circled around his wrist. “I haven’t imprisoned you; your communication device is still here. It was your choice to come over, don’t you remember?”
Dong Du: “…”
So, you mean you didn’t threaten me with the lives of Gneville and the others back then? I didn’t agree to come with you, and now I could have been lying comfortably?
Clearly, it was coercion, but he wanted to portray it as if it were voluntary. This person is quite shameless.
Without saying anything, Novisane took the initiative to connect Dong Du with Gneville’s smart ring. On the other end, Gneville quickly answered, “Little Highness, what’s this…”
Before Gneville could finish, Dong Du interrupted directly, “Are you all safe? Everything okay?”
Without Gneville saying, he knew he looked terrible now.
“We are all safe, but the General and the others haven’t returned. Once they return, I will immediately report your situation to them.” Gneville said seriously. “Highness, endure a little longer.”
“Alright, time’s up.” Novisane directly cut off the video call with Dong Du. “Now that you’ve confirmed their safety, we’re ready to leave.”
“Leave? Where are we going?” Dong Du struggled to sit up, forcefully tearing the cloth off his face. The bright light in front of him made him squint. Then everything in front of him shocked him.
Yars’ patrol ship and Clos’ patrol ship were probably fundamentally different. All rooms in Clos’ patrol ship were the same, just a table and a bed. However, the living cabin of Yars patrol ship was like a top-notch luxury hotel. The room was carpeted with soft carpets, and the white silk canopy hung directly to the ground. Dong Du was even wearing a medieval European nightgown.
He had been brought up after being injected with a tranquilizer, and he had no impression of changing clothes. He stared blankly at the clothes on his body. “Who changed my clothes?”
“Don’t you like this one?” Novisane sat on the high-backed chair beside the bed, clapped his hands as he spoke. A beta maid entered in response to his instructions, opened the wardrobe tightly against the wall, which was full of pajamas in various styles. “Which one do you want to change into?”
Dong Du: “No need.”
It seems this person never understands the meaning behind others’ words.
Looking at the full wardrobe of clothes, he finally understood. Novisane probably had a premeditated plan, but even when capturing himself, this person made so many clothes for himself. Dong Du truly didn’t understand what was going on in this person’s mind. Last time they met, they were still fighting, not in a friendly relationship where they exchanged clothes, right?
“The clothes were my choice. I like you wearing this one the most.” Novisane’s fingers tapped the armrest of the chair. “If you want to change, it’s fine, but I’ll have to choose.”
“Change, but not into pajamas.” Dong Du sighed, deciding not to reason with the lunatic.
Novisane nodded, got up, and picked through the wardrobe for a long time before finally choosing an outfit. Dong Du didn’t pay much attention; he just started putting on the clothes – shirt, coat, shorts, shirt clip, long socks, small leather shoes…
He had no idea what a shirt clip was; he thought it was a belt. However, there was no belt buckle on the pants. After examining it for a while, he tossed it onto the bed. He didn’t need such a thing.
Click.
Novisane crushed the lollipop in his mouth. He covered his face with one hand, strangely smiled, picked up the shirt clip from the bed, and neatly clipped it onto Dong Du. Then he asked, “This is how you use it, do you remember?”
“Troublesome.” Dong Du muttered.
The beta maid wisely retreated and closed the door of the living cabin.
“You really have no sense of crisis.” Novisane took out another lollipop, peeled it, and put it in his mouth. “But I also don’t lack a sense of ceremony. So, on the patrol ship, you can rest assured.”
Dong Du: “…”
What nonsense is this lunatic talking about? Everyone is a man, right?
Oh, wait, he forgot. His current gender is male Omega, not just male. So, this lunatic wouldn’t think he’s trying to seduce him, right?
No, no.
Dong Du looked at Novisane with a toothache expression. He really didn’t want to stay in the same room with him. Trying his luck, he tentatively asked, “Can I go out for a walk?”
“Feel free,” Novisane shrugged.
Unexpectedly, he agreed. Dong Du’s eyes instantly lit up. He tried to restrain his excitement, biting his lip and mumbled, “Thank you.”
At the moment Dong Du turned to leave, Novisane crushed the lollipop in his mouth again. The rich peach flavor spread in his mouth, very sweet but lacked a bit of fleshiness.
Dong Du walked straight out, encountering many servants on the way, but not a single soldier. Finally, he turned into the control cabin and was blocked by someone at the door. “Sorry, entry is not allowed here.”
The person had a smiling face, but his attitude was very clear. Dong Du looked past his arm and asked, “I won’t go in. Can you tell me where we’re going?”
Staring at the wide, watery eyes of the omega, which blinked without a break, Zhuo He, a soldier who rarely encountered omega, felt his entire body heating up. However, all the alphas on this ship were Novisan’s personal guards, and they were well aware of why he granted land exploration rights and why he personally came for exploration.
Even the anesthetic injected into Dong Du’s body was handed over to Novisane by Zhuo He. So he knew exactly who this person in front of him was. He knew he couldn’t form a deep bond with him, but being stared at like this, he involuntarily softened his attitude.
“We’re heading back to the capital star of Yars.” Zhuo He looked straight ahead, not daring to glance at the corners of Dong Du’s little suit. “Rest assured, Your Excellency will be well taken care of.”
On the other side, Novisane hadn’t moved since Dong Du left the room. He sat on the high-backed chair, and a small light screen emitted from the smart ring on his wrist, playing the monitoring video of the entire ship.
He saw Dongdu peeking through the corridor, greeting the servants with his hands gripping the straps. He saw him chatting with Zhuo He with a cheerful smile, then leaving dejectedly from the doorway of the cockpit.
Novisane’s fingers lightly tapped the chair armrest. Several candy sticks were already placed beside his hand. Since Dong Du boarded this ship, his frequency of eating candies had significantly increased, all of them peach-flavored. The orange-flavored ones, which used to be his favorite, he hadn’t eaten since meeting Dong Du.
People from the Yars Empire were well aware that it wasn’t a good sign if the Prime Minister frequently indulged in candy, even though he almost always had candy in hand.
The crew on the ship kept their mouths sealed as if they were locked. Dong Du had gathered information but found nothing. He was currently wearing his regular clothes, without even the protective suit. Escape was not possible, so he had to return to his room.
Before Dong Du entered the room, Novisane had already put away the small screen of his smart ring. When Dong Du entered, he found Novisane sitting at the table, pretending to have been working all along.
Dong Du opened the door, peering at him with half his face over the door leaf like a cautious little hamster. Novisane set down the book he casually picked up, “Back?”
“Why did you bring me to your capital star in Yars?” Dong Du leaned on the door frame, neither entering nor retreating. “I’m, after all, a little prince. Aren’t you afraid of starting a war by doing this?”
“Because for the sake of one omega, that has already been sent to the Black Gold Fortress. Would Xi Yuan start a war for you?” Novisane smiled. “Little Peach, if I offered you in exchange for ten small asteroids, would your brother agree?”
Dong Du scratched his little curls. “Why would you want to exchange ten small asteroids for me? Are you a fool?”
Novisane rolled the lollipop in his mouth with his tongue. “Can you come over here a bit?”
“Why should I?” Dong Du straightened his little waist, resolute and indignant.
Novisane anticipated that he wouldn’t be obedient. He walked over, grabbed Dong Du by the door, and with a bang, closed the door. “Now, think about why I want to exchange you for ten small asteroids.”
Dong Du shrank at the door, locked in Novisane’s arms. He cautiously, carefully, and puzzledly asked, “Could it be that you plan to deceive Xi Yuan? Did you tamper with the small asteroids?”
This unexpected response surprised Novisane. He smirked, took the lollipop out of his mouth with a pop, and then pressed it into Dong Du’s mouth, asking, “Little Peach, do you cry?”
