Aristocrat Boys School Chapter 145

Chapter 145 Evil Thoughts

<Previous Chapter<Table of Contents>Next Chapter>

Jian Chi couldn’t recover from the picture for a long time, and his faith was like a high wall collapsed in an instant.

He couldn’t connect this sober and brutal young man with Bai Xiyu, whose eyes were red because of a trivial matter. The scary thing was that there was a voice in the bottom of his heart that said: Only Bai Xiyu like this can explain everything wrong in the past.

A dark, selfish and good at disguise Bai Xiyu was more in line with the facts than a pure and innocent Bai Xiyu who lived in an unbearable and malicious environment. Jian Chi had been thinking wrong all the time. He was misled by the book, and even more deceived by Bai Xiyu’s superb acting skills.

From this day on, God may have compensated for Bai Xiyu’s sufferings for the past seventeen years, and his life completely turned to a completely different path from the moment he arrived at Chuanlin. Jian Chi saw the familiar Bai family mansion. He had seen it all through Bai Xiyu’s perspective when he dreamt of the book. However, it all came from ‘Bai Xiyu in the book’, and what he saw now was a real, complete world that was not limited by the words in the book.

The book described Bai Xiyu’s first arrival in the Bai family. His poor background and guilt for his illegitimate child made Bai Shengying more loving to him. Not only did he get a place in Saintston, but even Bai Shuyun, who had been pampered since childhood, became jealous. Everything that Jian Chi saw now was consistent with the content in the book, but there were some eerie differences.

It seemed that Bai Xiyu’s place in Saintston was given by Bai Shengying, who was compensating; in fact, after arriving at the Bai house, Bai Xiyu would use a sad and subtle tone every day saying he missed his deceased mother in front of Bai Shengying. He appeared not to want others to discover the psychological gap, so he tried his best to clumsily cover it up. When this subtle guilt reached its peak, Bai Shengying finally decided to let Bai Xiyu and Bai Shuyun enter Saintston together after weighing everything.

He got what he wanted time and time again with his skillful acting, and this time, he took advantage of his father.

Jian Chi thought that it was an accident that Bai Xiyu provoked Shao Hang, that he gradually got close to Wen Chuan because of curiosity, contradicted Shen Shuting because of his stubborn temperament, and fell in love with Ji Huaisi because he was the only light shining on him in the predicament. Jian Chi preferred to believe that everything happenned naturally, but just like the difference between ‘appearance’ and ‘reality’, Bai Xiyu used his actions to tell him the cruel duality of this world.

The description in the book was not wrong, everything happened in fact, it just omitted a part of the ‘less important’ inside story. It omitted Bai Xiyu’s subtle provocation among several people, deliberate guidance, and finally as a victim, he won everyone’s sympathy. Only the end was written in the book, so what Jian Chi saw was an innocent Bai Xiyu who was kidnapped and slandered by people.

Jian Chi remembered Shao Hang, Wen Chuan and Shen Shuting initially. Each of them had a dark side, dormant, either as vicious and stubborn as Shao Hang, or stifled in their hearts like Wen Chuan. The appearance of Bai Xiyu calmly stirred up the evil in their hearts, and spread the violent factor that could kill to the greatest extent. In the story, Bai Xiyu, because of these people’s increasingly paranoid competition, finally got the same ‘love cage’ as the title of the book. Outside of the story, Jian Chi only saw madmen who enjoyed deformed love and control.

There was no kindness and generosity. Bai Xiyu was willing to forgive Bai Shuyun’s frame up again and again, in order to get deeper care and love from these people after each injury.

There was no mutual affection, Jian Chi can’t convince himself to see love from Bai Xiyu’s deliberate and superb acting skills, and even he can’t feel the love of Shao Hang and the three of them for Bai Xiyu.

Jian Chi never felt that love could tolerate hurt, and his feelings for Ji Huaisi still did not reach the height of love, but when danger occurred, he instinctively didn’t want to see Ji Huaisi hurt. If you like something and you can do this, then when you love someone, you may even think that if the other person feels hurt, it will hurt your heart.

If the three people in the book truly loved Bai Xiyu, they would not go against Bai Xiyu’s ‘will’ again and again to fight to the death, and they would not destroy his freedom with their own hands, break his wings, and chain him with lies. This kind of morbid entanglement was the bad result of Bai Xiyu arousing evil thoughts in their hearts. If they don’t get it, they will destroy it. Although they have noticed the terrible part of the truth, everyone has been trapped in this love cage full of lies and can’t get out.

In this story, Ji Huaisi was an absolutely uncontrollable factor. He was not influenced by Bai Xiyu, always keeping a proper distance from him, and devoted all his energy and enthusiasm to the violin and being an excellent vice president. Jian Chi didn’t know whether Bai Xiyu really liked Ji Huaisi, or it was just because he was unable to get it. Although he was finally ‘forced’ to establish a relationship with the three, he still did not give up approaching Ji Huaisi.

He made Ji Huaisi the target of public criticism.

For the first time, Jian Chi saw a cold and estranged Ji Huaisi from the perspective of others. He rejected Bai Xiyu and stayed away from Shao Hang and the others, and he was still unable to avoid the inexplicable hostility and provocation. Whenever this kind of thing happened, Bai Xiyu would look to Ji Huaisi with red eyes to apologize after it happened, and told Ji Huaisi again and again that with his insignificant power, he couldn’t stop Shao Hang and the others, let alone escape from them.

Every time Ji Huaisi would tell Bai Xiyu ‘it’s okay, it’s not your fault’, but this time, Ji Huaisi said after a long silence: “You need me to help you escape from them, don’t you?”

Bai Xiyu cried with water in his red eyes, he didn’t nod or shake his head, “I, I don’t want to hurt you…”

“You’ve already hurt me,” Ji Huaisi said, “you have to understand that not everyone in this world will be like Shao Hang and them. No matter what problem there is between you, I’m sorry, I don’t like you, and I don’t want to help you. In my opinion, these are all your own mistakes.”

The always gentle Ji Huaisi’s first dialogue with Xiyu and he said these almost cold words. Bai Xiyu’s expression froze on his face, and even the tears stopped flowing.

He never took the initiative to look for Ji Huaisi again, but every time they met, Bai Xiyu’s eyes flashed with anxiety and hurt, which led others to think in the wrong direction step by step. Ji Huaisi’s situation did not improve and actually worsened. The graduation party came as scheduled. While observing Ji Huaisi, Bai Xiyu skillfully aroused Bai Shuyun’s hatred – many frame-ups in the past also occurred this way.

So everything happened as it should have happened. Bai Xiyu ignored Ji Huaisi’s refusal and got into his car. The gentleman’s demeanor made Ji Huaisi not drive him out in the end. The whole way, Bai Xiyu was expressing his love for Ji Huaisi either implicitly or directly, gradually rising from words to physical touch. Unsurprisingly, Bai Xiyu was asked to get out of the car halfway through. He looked at the dark spot that faded away in his field of vision. He stood behind a tree by the roadside, like a patient hunter, waiting quietly.

He knew that Bai Shuyun saw what he did when he got in the car, that Bai Shuyun drank a lot of alcohol tonight, that Bai Shuyun often did some stupid things when he was provoked, and that Ji Huaisi was sitting in the car.

So when the car with the familiar license plate flew in the direction Ji Huaisi left, Bai Xiyu knew that fate had pitied him again.

In Jian Chi’s opinion, every plan of Bai Xiyu can’t be called well organized. Maybe Yu Litu didn’t want to drink that morning, maybe she couldn’t grab the bottle of disinfectant, maybe she spat it out after only one sip, maybe the neighbors found out just in time…

Just like now, maybe Ji Huaisi would stop Bai Xiyu from getting on the car from the beginning, maybe Bai Xiyu didn’t get off the car halfway, maybe Bai Shuyun wasn’t stimulated to the point of killing people by car… All could be possible failures.

But the most terrifying thing about all the plans was that even if they fail, Bai Xiyu, the planner, will not be punished. Yu Litu won’t find out Bai Xiyu’s killing intent towards her, maybe she would just think that she accidentally took the wrong bottle when she was drunk, and Bai Xiyu would slowly convince her of it. Ji Huaisi would not have known that death had passed him by, and Bai Shuyun would never have thought that he was being used from beginning to end. Even if he failed, Bai Xiyu had 10,000 chances to start over.

There was a loud ‘bang’ in the distance, and the burning flames spread throughout the night.

Bai Xiyu’s face was dark in the red light and shadow, Jian Chi didn’t know what he was thinking at this moment, let alone whether he enjoyed the ending or regretted his choice for a moment. He saw the tears in Bai Xiyu’s eyes.

During the stumble, Bai Xiyu ran towards the direction of the car accident, first slowly, then faster and faster, then suddenly stopped and began to breathe rapidly. His legs could not support the weight of his body, he squatted down, took out his mobile phone and dialed the phone tremblingly, for a moment, tears poured out uncontrollably.

“Where are you? I’m here, I’m here… I don’t know where we are, no… I’m not crying, can you come here? Something terrible happened here…”

Jian Chi’s consciousness became further and further during the call, then only a few vague notes could be heard flowing out of Bai Xiyu’s mouth. The moment he pulled away, he had the answer to the above question.

Bai Xiyu chose to call one of the three, not the ambulance, not the police.

Whether it was the seventeen-year-old Bai Xiyu or the current Bai Xiyu, he had never changed.

  1. F*** can someone beat him, please… how dare he… 😤
I did expect him to be bad, but not this bad and scheming! Even if “life forced him” he had choices, he could choose another way, but he didn’t…
