“How did Little Three get targeted by the police?” In the room, a man with a scar on his face glared coldly at the other two.

“I don’t know,” responded a thin, crew-cut man. “According to our plan, everything was well-prepared. We changed the location at the last minute and only informed the core members. The police shouldn’t have found us so quickly. If they had received advance information, they would have raided the trade directly instead of just taking Little Three.”

The last man, holding a cigarette, pondered and said, “The cops seem to have a clear target. In a group of ordinary people, they found Little Three directly. I suspect someone betrayed him.”

The scarred man spat and said, “Anyway, be more vigilant lately. Discard all the undercover agents that Little Three has been in contact with. Transfer quickly. We absolutely cannot let the police follow the trail and find us. Also,” he looked at the crew-cut man, instructing, “Investigate who Little Three has been in contact with recently. If someone betrayed him, eliminate them immediately!”

Just as they were discussing how to handle the aftermath and hadn’t had a chance to execute their plans, the police acted swiftly, arresting several internal members. They were caught off guard, forced to hide in the shadows temporarily, waiting for the storm to pass.

They were unprepared for this outcome, completely unaware of how the police had managed to find their people so accurately and quickly!

They dared not show their faces now, relying on other companions to gather information. They harbored deep hatred for the person who had betrayed them and vowed to find the mole.

In these days, Officer Sun was busy and joyful. With the clues provided by An Bu and Jian Ningxuan, the police, as if assisted by a divine power, swept through the theft ring with remarkable efficiency, achieving impressive results.

An Bu, on the other hand, enjoyed her leisure, picking up her veterinary textbooks again, immersing herself in diligent study. Simultaneously, she didn’t forget to take on part-time jobs, drive around, work on the farm, play musical instruments, and ride bicycles, maintaining her colorful and vibrant lifestyle as usual.

Mr. Jian, a tech enthusiast, was brought to new heights by her, maintaining his figure while exercising. His physique became more robust, and his attractiveness shone brighter, making heads turn wherever he went.

One day, after finishing class, An Bu walked home as usual. When she reached the vicinity of the residential area, she noticed a wave of yin energy drifting from around the corner. She walked briskly and collided head-on with someone just as she turned the corner.

An Bu stood firm as a mountain, but the other person stumbled back. Unsteady in 7-inch high heels, she leaned backward. An Bu quickly grabbed her wrist, gently guiding her back to an upright position.

“Thank you, thank you,” the woman said, still recovering from the shock.

An Bu took a closer look and recognized her as the owner of the Beauty Embracing a Hairpin Vase, the wealthy woman Fei Xinjue.

“Oh, it’s you,” Fei Xinjue also recognized An Bu and smiled, “What a coincidence.”

“Why is Miss Fei here?” An Bu observed the dense death energy around her, silently speculating on potential mishaps.

“I have a friend who lives nearby. I came to visit her today,” Fei Xinjue replied, not particularly acquainted with An Bu, exchanging only a few polite words.

“Why are you alone? Didn’t you bring bodyguards?”

Fei Xinjue, being worth billions, and a woman, rarely went out alone. Today, for the sake of meeting a private friend, she had intentionally dismissed her bodyguards. There was no need to mention this to a stranger, so she casually answered, “The bodyguards are nearby. They’ll come pick me up later.”

An Bu was about to say something when a piercing car alarm sounded from the parking lot behind them. Both turned to see a white car with flashing taillights emitting sharp noises.

“Oh, it’s my car,” Fei Xinjue hurriedly walked towards her parked car.

An Bu followed suit. However, halfway there, she suddenly stopped. About to call out to Fei Xinjue in front, before she could speak, something pressed against her lower back. A rough voice sounded, “No noise, walk.” Her waist was struck heavily, forcing her to move forward.

Fei Xinjue was also in a similar situation. A menacing man, holding a gun in one hand, snatched her car keys with the other, opened the car door, and pushed her into the back seat. An Bu followed suit.

Then, one man took the driver’s seat, and another joined An Bu in the back.

“Who are you? What do you want?” Fei Xinjue forced herself to remain calm, coldly asking.

“What do we want? Do we need to answer? Of course, it’s robbery and assault,” said the bald man beside An Bu, grabbing their handbags, pulling out their phones, and, when the car reached an overpass, tossing the phones over the railing into the river.

An Bu watched her phone fall into the river, realizing her cat master couldn’t locate her anymore.

If it were only her, she wouldn’t be afraid. The problem was that there was also Fei Xinjue with her. Taking any rash action might endanger her life. The strong death energy around her clearly indicated that she was just lying there as bait.

“If you want money, it’s simple. I can arrange for millions immediately, as long as you spare our lives,” Fei Xinjue tried to negotiate. However, no matter what she said, the other side remained indifferent.

An Bu observed their expressions while keeping an eye on the scenery outside the car. The car kept heading west, quickly leaving the city and entering a sparsely populated suburb.

As the car went farther, the death energy around Fei Xinjue grew thicker. These two men weren’t after money; their motives were clear and deadly.

Did Fei Xinjue offend someone?

As night fell, the surroundings became silent, with only the whistling night wind.

Fei Xinjue began to realize that something was wrong, her eyes showing fear as she looked towards An Bu for help.

An Bu remained as calm as a dead person, giving her a reassuring look and then spoke, “Do you have a grudge against Miss Fei?”

The bald man glanced at her without answering.

“I want to know, are you planning to assault first and then kill, or kill first and then assault?” Her tone was casual, as if asking whether to eat meat first or drink soup first.

Fei Xinjue: “…” She willingly admits defeat in terms of this composure.

The bald man was also shocked by An Bu’s calmness, staring at her strangely. Then he chuckled, “You choose. Do you want to die in ecstasy or experience ecstasy after death?”

Fei Xinjue’s face turned pale. This sentence undoubtedly told her that they had no intention of leaving anyone alive.

An Bu, coldly, “Do you even have the ability to make the dead experience ecstasy?” Personally confirmed, only her cat master could achieve this.

“Do I have the ability? You’ll find out if you try.” The bald man gestured an obscene movement towards An Bu.

“Juzi, save your lust for later when the job is done.” The square-faced man, driving the car, snorted and suddenly slammed on the brakes, bringing the car to a stop in a desolate mountainous area.

An Bu and Fei Xinjue were dragged out of the car one after the other, pushed forward until they stood before a pit.

Looking at this pit, Fei Xinjue’s face was full of despair, almost foreseeing her fate.

“Why are you doing this? Why?” Fei Xinjue asked unwillingly.

“Why? Blame yourself for betraying the wrong person.” The square-faced man sneered and then looked at An Bu. “As for you, you can just consider yourself unlucky.”

An Bu: She never considered herself unlucky. She had always followed the dead-end survivor-cannon fodder reverse comeback route.

“If I will die, can you make it clear for me? Whom did I betray?” Fei Xinjue cried with a trembling voice.

“You dared to cooperate with the police, and now you won’t admit it?” The square-faced man looked at her coldly.

Cooperate with the police? Fei Xinjue was puzzled for a moment, then asked, “I did meet with the police, but they were mainly inquiring about the antique market trends. There was no involvement in any confidential information, though.”

Beside her, An Bu understood the situation. These two men were members of an artifact smuggling and private group. They were actually looking for her, but somehow ended up targeting Fei Xinjue. It turned out that Fei Xinjue was the one lying in wait, and she, the real target, got entangled in the situation by accident.

“It’s too late to say anything now,” the square-faced man raised his gun towards her, saying, “You either jump by yourself, or I’ll give you a push.”

Fei Xinjue looked at the pit about two to three meters deep, with a coffin at the bottom. Stiffening all over, she was engulfed in deep fear.

While the attention of the two men was focused on Fei Xinjue, An Bu suddenly exploded into action. She kicked away the square-faced man’s gun, then lunged towards the bald man. Just as she did, a gunshot rang out, and An Bu’s abdomen was pierced. She tightly restrained the bald man, shouting at the startled Fei Xinjue, “Run!”

Fei Xinjue decisively turned around and sprinted for her life. The square-faced man cursed angrily, disregarding the gun, and chased after Fei Xinjue.

However, he tripped on something on the ground, falling flat on his face. Furiously lifting his head, he caught sight of An Bu retracting her sweeping leg and attacking the bald man again.

“Bang!” Another gunshot, hitting An Bu’s knee. Stumbling, she slipped on the ground, losing balance and falling backward into the pit. Her upper body crashed into the edge of the coffin, producing a crisp sound of a fractured spine.

An Bu realized it was bad. In those four or five seconds just now, she thought she had provided an opportunity for Fei Xinjue to escape. All she needed to do was take them down one by one. Little did she know that before she could unleash her prowess, she fell into the pit and broke her spine. She wouldn’t be able to get up for a while.

The two men jumped into the pit. Coordinating seamlessly, they quickly lifted the seemingly “dead” An Bu into the coffin, closed the lid, and acted as if they were professionals who had practiced this many times.

The square-faced man then said to the bald man, “I’ll leave this to you. I’ll go after that woman.”

The bald man nodded, “Got it.”

The square-faced man climbed out of the pit, picked up the gun from the ground, and swiftly pursued Fei Xinjue in the direction she fled.

An Bu, with her abdomen and knee shot, spine broken, couldn’t break out of the coffin. She could only consume her life energy to quickly mend her injuries.

However, the bald man’s actions were faster than hers. Picking up a hidden shovel from the bushes, he began shoveling soil, seemingly casual at first. However, after a while, the coffin suddenly made a clanging sound, shaking off the surrounding dirt.

“What the heck, she’s not dead yet?!” The bald man was incredulous. His movements hastened, and after a moment, he had filled the pit. Having previously plundered graves, he was extremely proficient in digging and burying.

After filling the pit, the bald man covered the area with soil and stones, making the scene look untouched.

Having finished everything, he took his tools, cleared his footprints, and walked toward the parking area. Soon, he disappeared into the night.

In the dark, about two or three meters underground, An Bu lay in the pitch-black coffin, covered in blood, in the narrow space, unable to move a muscle.

After a while, a beam of light suddenly lit up in the darkness. An Bu was holding a cellphone in her hand. She had picked it up from the bald man when they struggled.

Checking the signal, only two bars remained. It should be enough to make a call.

Using her blood-stained fingers, An Bu pressed the familiar number button by button. The phone rang for two beeps and was answered, a familiar voice coming from the other end.

“Hello.”

“Mr. Jian…” An Bu began.

“An Bu, where are you?!” Jian Ningxuan’s voice was filled with urgency.

“Mr. Jian, please listen to me. Fei Xinjue and I were kidnapped by two men. They brought us to a desolate area 300 miles west of the western suburbs. Fei Xinjue managed to escape; I don’t know if she got away…”

“I just want to know how you are right now!” Jian Ningxuan shouted.

“I… I was put into a coffin by them and buried underground.”

Hearing this, Jian Ningxuan felt his brain buzzing. For a moment, his heart almost stopped beating.

“Mr. Jian, please don’t panic…” An Bu’s voice was calm, like a gentle breeze trying to reassure Jian Ningxuan.

Jian Ningxuan forced himself to calm down, but his fingers trembled uncontrollably.

The noise from the phone grew louder, and the voice became increasingly muffled: “Mr. Jian, I will… ‘stay alive’… wait for you to find me…”

“An Bu, wait for me, you must wait for me!” Jian Ningxuan’s voice trembled. After saying this, all that remained in his ears was the busy tone, “beep beep beep…”

An Bu looked at the phone that had automatically shut down due to low battery, shook her head in frustration, then tossed it aside. She began to try moving the coffin lid. Even though the hope of crawling out of the pit by her own strength was extremely slim, she had to make a dying struggle.
