The cake had just come out of the oven, a golden color, looking no different from before.
Qi Yue didn’t care about the heat and pinched one up and stuffed it straight into his mouth. The scorching temperature seemed to burn his entire esophagus. After swallowing it, he kept huffing air, smacking his lips as he carefully savored it. The taste was no different from something made in an ordinary oven. There were six pieces in total, and he ate them all in one go. Yet there was no effect at all. Too strange.
It couldn’t possibly be useless. Qi Yue refused to give up and repeatedly examined the oven. Could it be meant to be used to fight zombies? When a zombie comes, you unexpectedly pull the oven out of your space and smash it to death? He overturned that idea.
Still unwilling to accept it, Qi Yue made several more batches, but the result was the same. After eating them, there was still no abnormal reaction at all. He had eaten so much he even felt a bit stuffed.
Very depressed. Could it be delayed?
Qi Yue decided to go to bed early that night and wait until the next day to see if any effect would appear, completely forgetting what he had promised earlier.
When he came out of the small kitchen, the others were still busy in the fields. The watermelons had already been harvested and were piled up beside them like a small hill. Qi Yue grinned as he watched them pick eggplants, then carried over a watermelon from the side, cut it open with the knife he had brought, and handed it to a few of them to eat.
“It’s dirty here, you go back first. We’ll be done soon,” Han Fei said after finishing the watermelon in his hand, tossing aside the rind and going back to work.
“Don’t come down, it’s dirty here,” Lin Yuze wouldn’t let Qi Yue come down.
They were wearing big shorts, bare-chested, exposing strong, well-built torsos, sweat dripping down bit by bit. If outsiders saw their current appearance, they would definitely find it unbelievable.
Qi Yue smiled and refused to leave. When he wanted to go down to help, he was stopped. Taking a look, there really wasn’t much left, just a small patch that hadn’t been harvested yet.
Qi Yue sat at the edge of the field waiting for them, casually looking at how the other vegetables were growing.
Before he realized it, someone wrapped their arms around his waist from behind and lifted him up. Tang Ke rubbed his dirty face against Qi Yue’s. Qi Yue flailed and dodged left and right, but in the end he still came back with his face smeared full of dirt.
The five of them went together to the hot spring to bathe and mess around. When Qi Yue came out of the hot spring, his face was flushed red and his legs were trembling.
The food had already gone completely cold, so Qi Yue reheated it again.
The dining table was set at the kitchen doorway. A few of them opened a bottle of good red wine to celebrate traveling together. Qi Yue was very happy and, without realizing it, was coaxed into drinking too much by a few people with ill intentions. He sat there watching them talk, giggling foolishly on the side. His eyes narrowed into a thin line, and whenever he heard something interesting, he would open them wide, looking at you with moist eyes. When he heard a topic he didn’t like, he would slant his gaze over and glare. Qi Yue propped his face with his hand and just sat there looking at them, teasing the few of them until they couldn’t take it anymore.
Lin Yuze sat right next to Qi Yue. He drank the wine in his glass in one gulp, tilted his head, and went to kiss Qi Yue, passing the wine over. Qi Yue half-opened his mouth. The wine he didn’t have time to swallow flowed from the corner of his mouth all the way down to his collarbone. Different from their pale skin, his collarbones were slender and graceful. The muscles on his body weren’t exaggerated, but they were taut and elastic. Unlike before, Qi Yue now was filled head to toe with an extremely flamboyant beauty.
Qi Yue’s body went soft. Already dizzy and muddled, he was about to collapse onto the ground when he was pulled in by the other, half-lying in Lin Yuze’s arms. The itchy feeling on his neck made him chuckle, twisting back and forth trying to escape the other’s advances.
Following along Qi Yue’s neck, Lin Yuze nibbled and bit, still not satisfied. He unbuttoned Qi Yue’s clothes, starting from the bottom, one by one going upward. His flat abdomen without a trace of excess flesh, the two crimson protr*sions on his chest already hardening. He opened his mouth and took one side in, biting and gnawing.
Qi Yue’s body had long since been made extremely sensitive by several of them. He couldn’t stop trembling, and when his sensitive spot on his chest was licked and sucked by the other’s hot tongue, it quivered and h*rdened. He lifted his body, pressing his chest closer to the other, humming discontentedly.
Lin Yuze raised the hand that had been free and stroked Qi Yue’s soft lips, then spat out the head that had been gnawed until swollen, laughing softly. “Be good, Yueyue, don’t rush. Big brother will give it to you right away.”
Qi Yue opened his mouth and sucked on the finger that was teasing at his lips, his face full of allure.
After stripping away all the restraints on Qi Yue’s lower body, leaving only the shirt on his upper body, Lin Yuze reached his hand toward Qi Yue’s entrance behind. It was already soak*d through, flooding uncontrollably. The crimson opening opened and closed, enticing him inside. His fingers slipped in to stretch him, and after only a few movements, squ*lching wet sounds began to come out.
The live, surging scene between the two made the three people on the other side of the table feel their blood boiling. Yan Bin, Tang Ke, and Han Fei drank and talked, their expressions still fairly normal, but the b*lge between their legs betrayed their thoughts. Their mouths spoke insincere words, while their eyes were fixed straight on Qi Yue.
Lin Yuze pulled down his zipper, took out what was already th*ck and burning hot, and with one thr*st entered Qi Yue’s body.
Qi Yue straddled Lin Yuze, his two legs hooked over the armrests of the chair. Drunk, he was completely muddled, limp against the other as that th*ck, h*rd, scorching object slammed fiercely inside him.
After a long while, when Lin Yuze finally released inside Qi Yue, he lowered his head to kiss Qi Yue’s face.
He laughed helplessly. He had actually fallen asleep.
The fair face, the skin pleasant to the touch, the sharp nose, the moist lips, the loose strands of hair at his forehead trembling slightly with each breath. Every detail was deeply imprinted in his heart.
He glanced at the few people whose faces had turned ashen, rubbed his forehead helplessly. Whose fault was it? They were the ones who had ill intentions and got him drunk, wanting to savor him slowly. Now it was completely over, no chance left at all.
Lin Yuze, completely satisfied, carried Qi Yue off to sleep, leaving the others to taste the bitter fruit themselves. When it’s time to make a move, you have to act. If you’re late, there won’t even be scraps left.
In the middle of the night, several of them shook awake the one who had ignited them. While Qi Yue was still drowsy and muddled, they took turns pressing him down, only then feeling appeased.
When Qi Yue woke up, there was only himself left. The others had already gotten up. His head hurt a bit from the alcohol. When he bent over to put on his pants, a certain concealed spot behind him felt a little uncomfortable. He couldn’t remember at all what had happened the night before.
Behind the small hill in the space, Qi Yue’s men had specially cleared out a patch of ground to use as a basketball court. In their spare time, they would go there.
As for why it was used as a basketball court, only Qi Yue himself didn’t know. Actually, those people wanted even more to use the grassland as a soccer field, so they wouldn’t have to farm every day. But there were too few of them, and if it were a soccer field, Qi Yue obviously wouldn’t agree, so they changed their tune and made it into a basketball court instead.
Qi Yue was wholly focused on his new ability. After washing up, he went straight to the small kitchen. What he had eaten the night before still hadn’t produced any reaction at all. What exactly was going on? No matter how hard he racked his brain, he couldn’t figure it out. He kneaded dough and made pastries of different shapes and styles. After they came out of the oven, there was still no effect at all. Qi Yue refused to give up and made another batch, planning to give them to those people to eat. Carrying the finished snacks, Qi Yue went behind the mountain.
The four of them were playing in pairs. Qi Yue didn’t like this kind of sweaty exercise. Of course, there was another kind of sweaty exercise that he did quite often. When they saw Qi Yue come over, they stopped.
Sitting on the grass beside them, they ate snacks and chatted. Life felt very cramped.
Qi Yue widened his eyes and carefully observed their reactions. D*mn it, there wasn’t the slightest change. Heaven was too unfair. A level-six ability was actually so useless, completely without effect.
Heaven had given him a special ability, yet wouldn’t let him fully bring out its effect. Filled with grief and indignation, fate was truly too unfair.
