On the second day, when Pei Yunshu appeared in front of everyone with a refreshed spirit, others couldn’t help but tease him, “Yunshu, how was the taste last night?”
Pei Yunshu sat in his seat, picked up a pair of bamboo chopsticks, and casually replied, “Just like that.”
Hua Yue, with a hint of blush on his cheeks, looked at him and seemed to be thinking about something.
If Yunshu could handle Lord Zhuyou, he could surely handle a fox.
Bai Lige, persistent as ever, expressed concern, “Yunshu, you can’t be soft-hearted. Lord Zhuyou has thick skin. If you don’t take advantage now, you might not get another chance.”
Pei Yunshu, feeling guilty, almost buried his head in the bowl, “I’ve taken a lot of advantage.”
Bai Lige raised an eyebrow suspiciously, “Really?”
“Really,” Pei Yunshu said, “Bai Li, just eat. Stop talking.”
Bai Lige laughed it off and didn’t bother him anymore. After the meal, he casually mentioned, “Yunshu, I and Qingfeng and Hua Yue are temporarily leaving.”
Pei Yunshu was taken aback, “Where are you going?”
Qingfeng lowered his head, silent and avoiding his inquiry.
“Now that you’re married, we can’t stay by your side all the time. Even if you like it, that stupid dragon is about to lose patience,” Bai Lige smiled, “Flower Brocade Sect holds numerous secret realms. Qingfeng, in gratitude for saving his life, wants to help me find a way to deal with the demonized creatures in these realms.”
Pei Yunshu nodded, feeling a bit melancholic, “I see.”
“But that doesn’t mean you can take it easy,” Bai Lige changed the topic, “Lord Zhuyou promised to find the most secret realms for you. When you’ve had enough fun, come find us. Half of those realms already belong to you.”
Pei Yunshu felt relieved and smiled, “I will definitely come find you.”
Zhuyou was still asleep today, but Bai Lige and the others didn’t want to wait for his revenge when he woke up. After dinner, they bid farewell to Pei Yunshu.
Hua Yue, teary-eyed in Pei Yunshu’s arms, Bai Lige opened his arms and gently touched Pei Yunshu’s head. His gaze was soft, like an elder brother, “Yunshu, take care.”
Pei Yunshu felt a bit emotional and nodded solemnly, “You too.”
Bai Lige smiled, “I wanted to hug you, but I’m afraid Zhuyou will cut me. Yunshu, how about you hug me instead?”
Without hesitation, Pei Yunshu hugged him.
The warmth in his embrace made Pei Yunshu feel secure. He blinked, eyes moist, patted Bai Lige’s back, and truly admired this great demon from the bottom of his heart, “Bai Li, thank you so much.”
Bai Lige had helped him a lot from beginning to end, and perhaps the words “with feelings and righteousness” were written for him. The sincere heart he showed to his friends made Pei Yunshu realize that there were still such people in the world. Being able to know and befriend Bai Lige was truly an indescribable fortune.
Bai Lige whispered, “Don’t forget to come find us with Zhuyou. If he bullies you, just tell me. Even if I have to fight to the death with him, I will get justice for you.”
“Okay,” Pei Yunshu sniffed, and by the time he let go of Bai Lige, he had a smiling expression, “Would he dare?”
Bai Lige laughed heartily, pulled Hua Yue a few steps back, and let Qingfeng have a good talk with Pei Yunshu.
Young Master Qingfeng tightened his fists, “I owe you a life. You can order me to do anything.”
Pei Yunshu straightforwardly asked, “Qingfeng, is that your real name?”
Young Master Qingfeng kept his head down, “I was born without a name. The sect master named me Ling Qingfeng.”
“So, when we first met, it wasn’t really a lie,” Pei Yunshu said, “At least your name is real.”
Young Master Qingfeng spoke hoarsely, “You’re so foolish. After being betrayed by me, don’t trust others easily.”
“But I also have a pair of discerning eyes,” Pei Yunshu said seriously, “I’m not as easy to deceive as before. Qingfeng, even if I am still that easy to deceive, would Bai Li be easily deceived? I can see how he treats you. Qingfeng, Bai Li doesn’t think you’re a bad person. The world is not black and white. If you don’t speak up, we’ll understand, but it’s not clear. Now that we’re about to part, don’t you want to say something?”
“…” Young Master Qingfeng sighed, looked up at Pei Yunshu, and said, “A demonic cultivator’s words can’t be taken seriously. Will you still believe me?”
Pei Yunshu nodded.
Young Master Qingfeng seemed to give up on himself, “I didn’t mean to harm you guys.”
Those who heard his words widened their eyes, seemingly shocked by this statement.
Young Master Qingfeng felt uncomfortable all over, wanting to fly away immediately, but still controlled his legs from moving. He struggled, his face turning slightly red, and roared, “I want to be with you guys. I like you. Is that enough!”
Pei Yunshu stuttered, “You, you like—”
“I also like the others,” Young Master Qingfeng immediately said, speaking quickly, “I like those two foxes, I like the grass under my feet, I like the clothes on my body. I like so many things. Can’t I like you too?”
“Sure, sure,” Pei Yunshu was dazed by a sentence, feeling more and more dizzy. He mumbled, “You can like me.”
Young Master Qingfeng’s lips curled up and quickly retracted. He turned to leave but looked back after a step, “If he bullies you, just divorce him. As the wife, can he still cross you?”
“Oh,” Pei Yunshu nodded blankly, feeling that he seemed a bit indifferent, so he quickly added, “I won’t let him bully me.”
Young Master Qingfeng’s eyebrows and eyes drooped, hummed, and left. When he turned around, he had a faint smile.
The stupid flood dragon, taking advantage of the favorable timing and geographical advantage, cheaply claimed Pei Yunshu as his own.
Hopefully, he could guard his treasure well. Even though some people were no longer around, those reaching out for him would never be few.

After sending off his friends, the mansion became much quieter. Pei Yunshu had nothing interesting to do, so he went to play with Zhuyou.
He tormented Zhuyou so much that it wasn’t until noon the next day that Zhuyou opened his eyes. He grabbed Pei Yunshu, took off his pants, and gave him a good spanking.
It wasn’t particularly painful, but it was extremely shameful. Yunshu resisted with all his might and almost cried from the humiliation.
“Do you think I have no awareness at all?” Zhuyou lifted his hand and lightly smacked down, calmly saying, “Madam seems to enjoy playing with me very much.”
In the past few days, Yunshu thought Zhuyou had completely fallen asleep, and he was too lazy to relieve the aroused fire. Zhuyou always kissed and touched him, making him feel on edge.
“I want to find Bai Li,” Pei Yunshu said with red eyes. “Let go of me. I don’t want to stay here.”
Zhuyou chuckled twice, “Too late!”
He threw Yunshu onto the bed.
After a night of passion, Pei Yunshu felt himself being lifted by Zhuyou in his sleep. There was a sound of wind, and the moonlight fluctuated. Yunshu struggled to open his eyes and asked hoarsely, “What’s wrong?”
“Nothing, rest assured and sleep,” Zhuyou adjusted the cloak on Pei Yunshu’s body, his tone carrying a hint of guilt, “I’ll take you to a new place.”
Pei Yunshu responded with a mumble, unable to resist the drowsiness that enveloped him. He pressed his face against Zhuyou’s chest and fell into a deep sleep.
***
When Pei Yunshu woke up, he found himself still being carried by Zhuyou in the air.
He stayed silent for a moment, rubbing his forehead with his hand. A sense of unease grew within him, and leaning over Zhuyou’s shoulder to look back, he was momentarily breathless.
“Zhuyou—!”
Zhuyou hugged him tighter, trying to please him by rubbing his cheek against Pei Yunshu’s face, “Yunshu, run first, talk later.”
Behind Zhuyou, a myriad of lotus platforms pursued them. Monks with shaven heads sat on the platforms, some looking anxious, others furious.
“Stop, evil creature ahead! Dare to steal the treasure of our Great Treasure Temple and not confront us directly?”
“Amitabha, our Buddha is compassionate. As long as the benefactors in front return the stolen treasure of our temple, we will surely overlook it.”
“Stealing things and coming to us, aren’t you afraid of angering Buddhist disciples around the world?”
Veins bulging on Pei Yunshu’s forehead, he pushed Zhuyou’s face away and summoned the Qingyue Sword. Zhuyou skillfully stood on the sword with Pei Yunshu in his arms, saying, “Yunshu, run quickly. These monks are insatiable. I exchanged the fine needle I got from my dragon scales, so why should I give it back.”
His tone was filled with anger, resentful that the things he obtained with his own ability were still being challenged.
Pei Yunshu’s temples throbbed fiercely. He wished he could do what Zhuyou did before, pull down Zhuyou’s pants, and give him a good beating. However, with a sore waist and fatigue throughout his body, how could he escape the pursuit of hundreds and thousands of Buddhist cultivators? Moreover, Pei Yunshu didn’t want to escape.
The Qingyue Sword rapidly ascended into the sky, then suddenly turned downward. Seeing them approaching, the Buddhists became extremely vigilant, stopping their lotus platforms and casting protective barriers.
Stopped not far from the group of Buddhist cultivators, Pei Yunshu raised his voice, “Do the seniors’ words count? If we return your temple’s treasure, will it really settle everything?”
The leading monk had a gentle demeanor, his features transparent. He recited a Buddhist mantra and said, “Monastics do not speak falsehoods; words are naturally binding. As long as the two benefactors return our temple’s treasures, we will not pursue the matter any further.”
Pei Yunshu said, “I trust the master. In that case, please accept it, master.”
A fine needle radiating Buddha’s light flew from his fingertip. The monks held their breath, all eyes fixed on the needle. Once the leading monk received and examined it, nodding in approval, they breathed a sigh of relief, only to realize that the two individuals had disappeared.
The sound of breaking air sped away. Zhuyou, displeased, said, “My dragon scales.”
Pei Yunshu, unable to bear it, pinched Zhuyou’s waist from behind. “Zhuyou, you traded dragon scales for a Buddha needle, but they obviously didn’t want to exchange with you.”
Zhuyou’s brows furrowed, “They dare to look down on my scales.”
“You’re resorting to force,” Pei Yunshu said, “Don’t make it a habit.”
Zhuyou’s face darkened, but he still followed Pei Yunshu obediently, nodding reluctantly.
With no one chasing them, Zhuyou pointed the way for Pei Yunshu, who asked, “Where are we going?”
“Before we got married, I and them marked a spiritual vein, built a courtyard there, and lived there without telling anyone.”
The remaining anger in Pei Yunshu dissipated, and he couldn’t help but laugh. Turning around, he held Zhuyou’s cheeks with both hands and coaxed softly, “Zhuyou, are you really that amazing?”
Zhuyou’s complexion improved significantly, and he nodded reservedly.
Seizing the opportunity, Pei Yunshu gave him a little lecture, admonishing that taking things without permission is considered theft. Even when exchanging items, it must be done with the owner’s consent.
Zhuyou neither nodded nor shook his head, looking somewhat displeased.
Pei Yunshu resorted to the ultimate move, cradling Zhuyou’s face and tenderly coaxing, “Husband, be obedient.”
The word “husband” had a mesmerizing effect on Zhuyou. He seemed dazed, as if he had been given a love potion, nodding repeatedly and agreeing to anything.
