Sleep, wake up, wake up, sleep.

In the midst of drifting in and out of consciousness, Pei Yunshu still remembered the fox’s warning. He initially thought that even if Zhuyou came in, he could endure it. Could he endure Zhuyou, who shed his skin repeatedly, without succumbing to pleasure?

“Yuan…” Speaking was a struggle for him. The scorching chest pressed against his back, a pair of hands wrapped around his waist, pulling him into an embrace, reminding Zhuyou to guard his yuanyang. “Yuanyang…”

The dragon undulated in his ear, “All for you.”

For the next forty-five days, Zhuyou indeed lived up to his words, being generous every day.

Exhausted and with red eyes, Pei Yunshu would be embraced by Zhuyou as they fell asleep. Upon waking up, Zhuyou’s actions always made him feel invigorated. Even the prepared wine would erase the fatigue from his body, matching Zhuyou’s energy.

Zhuyou didn’t spare him, adopting a flirtatious tone that he seemed to have learned from somewhere. Every time he whispered those vulgar words into Pei Yunshu’s ear, Pei Yunshu couldn’t help but tighten his grip on the bedsheet, his entire body tensing, turning as red as a ripe shrimp.

The joy of every day and night – the dragon had thoroughly indulged the man in his arms. The pleas with a sobbing tone only fueled his excitement, and he coaxed Pei Yunshu repeatedly in water, air, on the bed, and on the floor. He coaxed him into a half-human, half-demon entanglement. The pain of shedding his skin was long forgotten.

Forty-five days of pleasure, and Zhuyou was only just satisfied.

Pei Yunshu didn’t know when it ended; his feet hadn’t touched the ground for a long time, always wrapped in a blanket.

Zhuyou glanced at him, and he would shrink into the blanket, whispering softly, “No more.”

His voice was hoarse, and his lips, battered for many days, were swollen like ripe berries. A gentle sniff filled the secret room with a sweet fragrance.

Zhuyou grabbed Pei Yunshu’s ankle, pulling him out of the blanket and beneath him, comforting him, “My essence is beneficial for you, be good.”

But no matter how beneficial, Pei Yunshu didn’t want it anymore.

It seemed like Zhuyou wasn’t satisfied; his energy was incredibly vigorous. Was this the insatiable nature of dragons, or was it only Zhuyou who had this appearance?

Zhuyou’s words made it sound as if Zhuyou was his furnace. But what kind of furnace insists on something against one’s will? Zhuyou clutched his hand, pressed him underneath his body, and, amidst Pei Yunshu’s cries, claimed to treat him well, insisting on his compliance.

Exhausted to the point where his fingers couldn’t move, Pei Yunshu was fed water by Zhuyou and coaxed into eating something before he fell asleep in Zhuyou’s embrace.

Zhuyou heated the water, meticulously washed Pei Yunshu’s entire body, and the bite marks and bruises gradually faded away. Once cleaned, Zhuyou lifted Pei Yunshu and gently placed him on the bed.

Below his waist, Zhuyou transformed back into his original form, and the shed skin revealed itself, having reached the tip of his tail. Zhuyou, satisfied, watched Pei Yunshu without moving. The demonic patterns on his body were overflowing with pleasure, and he was delighted.

Never before had shedding skin been such a joyful experience.

Zhuyou lowered his head and licked Pei Yunshu’s lips. Pushing him away in his sleep, Pei Yunshu, sensitive and pitiful, murmured, “No more…”

“I like,” Zhuyou kissed his forehead and teased, “Does Yunshu like Zhuyou?”

Unaffected by the disturbance, Pei Yunshu, half-asleep, mumbled vaguely, “Like… like…”

He looked pitiful, genuinely fearing Zhuyou’s vigorous energy. He needed rest, but for forty-five days, Zhuyou hadn’t taken his eyes off him.

Not enough seeing, not enough kissing, not enough.

Zhuyou was pleased with Pei Yunshu’s response. Lowering his head, he touched foreheads with him and once again entered his consciousness.

The small infant in his mind now had more and larger green leaves on his body. He stared at the growing leaves, and the snow tree on his head seemed to wither. Startled by Zhuyou’s entrance, the infant pouted and exclaimed, “Don’t you come in!”

The infant had the appearance of Pei Yunshu, with watery eyes. “Don’t come closer, don’t, don’t, don’t!”

Pale and tender, Zhuyou stopped in his tracks, brushing across the snow tree on the infant’s head. The terrified snow tree trembled and hid behind the infant.

Zhuyou roamed freely in Pei Yunshu’s consciousness, contemplating making the infant cry. Just as he was about to upset the little elemental, he leisurely withdrew.

In two more days, Zhuyou would complete his shedding.

After shedding, his body would become smaller, and his physical body would temporarily seal a part of his consciousness due to the strain from the dragon soul. In other words, he would resemble a true child. After about a month, his consciousness would gradually unlock.

Zhuyou touched Pei Yunshu’s thigh, and the concealed white cloth emerged. This strip of cloth harbored Zhuyou’s essence, but it could only be used three times. Once those three times were exhausted, the power hidden within would disappear.

Zhuyou kissed Pei Yunshu’s chest and took out two red threads. One was tied around Pei Yunshu’s right hand, and the other was tied around Zhuyou himself.

After completing these actions, Zhuyou deeply looked at Pei Yunshu, planted a kiss on his forehead, and slowly closed his eyes.

Pei Yunshu slept for a full two days and nights before waking up from his slumber.

His body felt relaxed, and his spirits were exceptionally high. Sitting up, he noticed a delicately carved child lying beside him.

The child wasn’t wearing any clothes, covered by a corner of the blanket, fists clenched against the side of the face, sleeping peacefully.

Pei Yunshu’s eyes widened in astonishment as he looked at the child, wondering if he was still in a dream.

“Zhuyou?” Pei Yunshu wrapped himself in the blanket, surveyed the surroundings, saw no trace of Zhuyou, and finally fixed his gaze on the sleeping child. He took a deep breath, voice filled with shock, “Zhuyou?”

Zhuyou had mentioned that he would become smaller over time, but how could it happen so suddenly? They were entwined in passion before he fell asleep, and now, upon waking up, he found a child beside him.

Without waking the child, Pei Yunshu took a few deep breaths. After calming down, he leaned next to the child, carefully lifting a strand of hair from the child’s face.

A face that was incredibly innocent, bearing an eight-point resemblance to Zhuyou.

Pei Yunshu withdrew his hand, rubbed his forehead, feeling a myriad of complex emotions.

He was torn between wanting to drag Zhuyou out for a good scolding, but seeing him in this current state, Pei Yunshu knew he couldn’t bring himself to do it.

After suffering for such a long time, the anger he had suppressed, waiting to discipline Zhuyou after his shedding, now dissipated entirely.

Pei Yunshu would occasionally glance at the child. After a moment of contemplation, he silently covered the child with the blanket, tucking his arm within the warmth. Pei Yunshu decided to wait until the child woke up before settling their accounts.

He quietly got off the bed, and upon seeing the mess by the water, blushed and hastily put on his clothes. He then fetched a basin and a towel, meticulously “cleaning up the scene.”

After tidying up the surroundings, Pei Yunshu suddenly realized the benefits of Zhuyou’s transformation into a child.

No matter how, he couldn’t engage in those activities anymore.

He had said “no” hundreds of times. Regardless of how he begged, Zhuyou became more and more excessive, claiming repeatedly that it was for his own good. Was it truly for his good?

Grandiose excuses.

Pei Yunshu had a light meal, drank some water, and then sat waiting for Zhuyou to wake up. During this time, he needed to practice meditation. He hadn’t done anything during those forty-plus days, relying solely on the “benefits” Zhuyou provided. His cultivation had faintly reached a higher level, but he was concerned about advancing too quickly. Therefore, he suppressed it on his own.

Once the foundation of his cultivation stabilized, advancing to the next level could be considered.

After a focused session of meditation, Pei Yunshu recalled the fox’s words about the dragon’s essence being an excellent supplement. While Zhuyou’s physical form was that of a flood dragon, he possessed a dragon’s soul. Pei Yunshu experienced it firsthand and finally understood the extent of this potent supplement.

If he wished, he felt that he could ascend to the out-of-body stage, directly challenging the realm of separating the spirit and soul.

However, relying on external factors for cultivation was always superficial. He didn’t want to pursue such a path.

After Pei Yunshu finished meditating, the child on the bed was still in a deep sleep. Pei Yunshu refined the acquired essence, but the dragon’s energy was particularly vigorous, making him feel restless. He decided not to continue cultivating in this state, as it didn’t suit his peaceful and composed mindset.

It wasn’t the right time for cultivation, so Pei Yunshu stopped meditating and looked around. Walking to the bedside, he poked the child’s cheek.

At this moment, Zhuyou appeared to be around five or six years old, with a tender and adorable face. The softness of his cheeks left a small impression when poked. Despite the expressionless look, it melted one’s heart.

Pei Yunshu’s heart softened, a smile forming at the corner of his lips as he gently pinched the child’s cheek. The grown-up Zhuyou possessed a strikingly otherworldly and beautiful appearance, and Pei Yunshu hadn’t expected him to be so cute in his childhood.

The little Zhuyou furrowed his brows, turned his head in impatience, and evaded the hand that was pinching his cheek.

Pei Yunshu remarked, “You do have quite a temper.”

Getting up and deciding not to tease Zhuyou further, Pei Yunshu walked to the side, pulling out a book to read.

This time, he was clever. He first flipped to the end to check how the story concluded before starting from the beginning. The book was written in a conventional manner. Midway through, Pei Yunshu rested his eyes, closed the book, and went to the flowing water to wash his face.

As he squatted by the water, he saw his reflection. His complexion was rosy, eyes containing a smiling and spring-like glow. Pei Yunshu froze, casting a spell to stop the water’s flow. Upon closer inspection, he felt like something about himself had changed.

His lips appeared remarkably rosy, akin to having consumed flower petals, and his complexion was excellent, hinting at a certain charm found in romantic tales.

Pei Yunshu smirked, and the reflection in the water also mirrored the smirk.

After a while, unable to discern any peculiarities, he washed his face and returned, continuing to read the book.

***

The little Zhuyou was even more adept at sleeping than Pei Yunshu. Two days later, he finally opened his eyes.

Pei Yunshu, alerted by the movement, walked to the bedside just as the child sat up. Ready to call him Zhuyou, the child’s eyes brightened upon seeing Pei Yunshu, and he cheerfully exclaimed, “Brother.”

“…?” Pei Yunshu froze in place, his foot hovering in mid-air. “What did you call me?”

The tiny Zhuyou climbed down from the bed, rushed over, and clung to Pei Yunshu’s thigh. Looking up at him, his eyes filled with affection, he said, “Brother.”

Pei Yunshu stared at him, at a loss for words. After a while, he crouched down, locking eyes with the child. “Zhuyou?”

Zhuyou pouted, joyfully planted a kiss on Pei Yunshu’s cheek, and then nestled into Pei Yunshu’s arms, wrapping his tiny hands around Pei Yunshu’s neck.

Sticky and affectionate, completely different from the usual Zhuyou.

Pei Yunshu sighed and lifted him up, carefully observing his expression. Indeed, he now looked as innocent as a child.

Realizing that his intellect had changed along with his size, Pei Yunshu gently patted Zhuyou’s back. After a moment, his eyes lit up, a smile playing on his lips as he touched the child’s soft black hair, saying, “Don’t call me brother.”

The child looked puzzled and asked, “Then what should I call you?”

“Call me daddy,” Pei Yunshu’s eyes twinkled with amusement. “I am your daddy.”

Zhuyou, leaving his embrace, gazed at the smile on Pei Yunshu’s face, his black eyes shining. Obediently, he changed his address, “Daddy!”
