The Whole Sect Is Acting Strange Chapter 81

Chapter 82

Zhuyou was actually feeling quite uneasy.

After learning from his father about the strength of Dragon Father, he always had a feeling that Pei Yunshu would be taken away by Dragon Father. This sense of urgency and anxiety made him do and say things that he had never thought of doing or saying before.

He didn’t know how to contend with Dragon Father, but he knew he had to do something.

Pei Yunshu didn’t know where he had failed to educate Zhuyou properly. The dragon, who used to be obedient, had become quite unruly. Once seemingly intelligent, Zhuyou had now hidden his cunning side.

Pei Yunshu’s face had turned quite unpleasant, indicating his rising anger. “Zhuyou, if you don’t dispel the dream soon, I’ll rush out directly.”

Zhuyou frowned. He took a wine jar from the hands of the people behind him, but before he could turn around, Pei Yunshu attached a sleeping talisman to him from behind.

Caught off guard, Zhuyou relaxed his hands, his eyes showing signs of drowsiness, and he fell down heavily.

The wine jar made a loud noise as it hit the ground, spilling the liquid everywhere. Zhuyou fell hard, and Pei Yunshu squatted beside him, extending his hand to pinch his face.

The left cheek turned red, and the right cheek, on this incredibly handsome face, now bore two red marks.

“Leopards cannot change their spots,” Pei Yunshu said fiercely. “Especially when you haven’t transformed into a dragon. A little brat is so audacious. I sent you to many private schools, learned from many good teachers, and yet you’ve become worse? You used to be ignorant, and one could praise you for being cute. Now,” Pei Yunshu sneered, “let Daddy teach you the principles of being a person.”

Fortunately, Zhuyou was completely unprepared. Although he couldn’t use magic anymore, the things in the storage bag were still very effective.

When the dream master falls asleep, it seems that the entire dream world falls asleep as well. The servants holding wine jars also fell into a deep sleep, and the wind was so still that it couldn’t even blow.

It could be seen that Zhuyou had many flaws in his first attempt to enter the dream.

Pei Yunshu pulled Zhuyou’s clothes and, holding him, walked through the courtyard. Zhuyou had thick skin, and Pei Yunshu didn’t feel any pity.

When they reached a room, Pei Yunshu threw Zhuyou on the floor and sat on the side, contemplating how to discipline him.

After a while, Pei Yunshu suddenly remembered something. He rummaged through the storage bag for a while and found a bundle of Immortal Binding Ropes in the corner.

This was Zouyu’s Immortal Binding Rope, which was trapped by Pei Yunshu’s formation in South Wind Pavilion. He had put it in the storage bag, but he had forgotten about it until now.

Pei Yunshu held the Immortal Binding Rope, and his divine consciousness entered it, erasing the imprint of Zouyu above, making the Immortal Binding Rope acknowledge him as its master.

His current divine consciousness was much higher than Zouyu’s, and this process took no time at all.

After acknowledging him as the master, the Immortal Binding Rope affectionately rubbed against Pei Yunshu’s fingertips. Pei Yunshu released it and pointed towards the unconscious Zhuyou with a malicious smile, “Go, tie up this foolish flood dragon.”

The Immortal Binding Rope extended, tightly binding Zhuyou.

Pei Yunshu maneuvered Zhuyou onto a chair, circled around him twice, and the nascent soul in his spiritual sea excitedly jumped around, “Hit him! Hit him!”

Pei Yunshu was eager to start.

After disciplining Zhuyou, who slept soundly, with little effect on his tough exterior, Pei Yunshu was exhausted while Zhuyou remained unharmed.

Pei Yunshu felt that this was not intimidating enough.

He grabbed Qingyue sword but hesitated to use it for such purposes. Instead, he took out a small dagger from the storage bag. As the dagger brushed the tablecloth, the fabric split, cutting through it like butter.

Pei Yunshu approached Zhuyou, using the dagger to tear his clothes.

He intended to castrate him.

***

The Dream Master sensed a life-threatening crisis, even in his slumber. The entire dream world underwent a sudden change, resembling a profound transformation.

Just as Pei Yunshu was about to make the cut, he suddenly felt the dream world crumbling.

Arching an eyebrow, Pei Yunshu sat cross-legged, released his divine consciousness, and decided to vie for the position of the dream master against Zhuyou.

Pei Yunshu may not be as skilled in manipulating dreams as Zhuyou, but his cultivation level surpassed Zhuyou’s, and his divine consciousness approached Nascent Divinity stage.

He ruthlessly clashed with Zhuyou’s divine consciousness, seizing control of the entire dream realm. Though it was an experiment, Pei Yunshu was surprised to find it surprisingly simple. Ready to exit the dream, he glanced at the oblivious Zhuyou, smirked, and playfully bestowed him with an exceedingly “pleasant dream.”

***

When Pei Yunshu woke up, he left the room and headed to the side chamber. Zhuyou, lying on the bed, was struggling in his sleep, displaying signs of discomfort and drenched in sweat.

Zhuyou had grown a bit more, transitioning from a youth to a young man. After observing for a while, Pei Yunshu knocked on Zhuyou’s head and awakened him from the dream.

Opening his eyes slowly, Zhuyou looked extremely aggrieved upon seeing Pei Yunshu. “Daddy, Zhuyou had a bad dream.”

“Bad dream?” Pei Yunshu curled his lips, appearing half-smiling, half-sarcastic. “Daddy also had a bad dream.”

The Immortal Binding Rope flew out and circled menacingly around Zhuyou, who stood beside Pei Yunshu. Pei Yunshu brandished a gleaming dagger, playing with it, while still smirking at Zhuyou.

“Do you want to hear what Daddy’s bad dream was about, Zhuyou?”

He had truly angered his father.

Zhuyou became acutely aware of this fact.

He boldly spread his legs, exposing himself to Pei Yunshu, and even provocatively stood up, saying, “Does Daddy want to cut them off?”

“But they love Daddy so much, they’re adorable. How could Daddy bear to do it?”

A cold glint flashed, and the dagger grazed Zhuyou’s thigh, embedding itself into the bed. Unexpectedly, Daddy was serious. Zhuyou closed his eyes and pretended to faint.

However, even though he feigned unconsciousness, the ‘root of evil’ remained spirited. Under Pei Yunshu’s stern gaze, it grew increasingly excited.

Fuming with anger, Pei Yunshu laughed. In his infuriation, reason had abandoned him. He withdrew the dagger, about to carry out his threat, when a voice interrupted, “Is the Immortal Master here?”

Pei Yunshu snapped back to reality, tighteniing the binds on Zhuyou. His heart was somewhat relieved.

Although Zhuyou was currently easy to bully, Pei Yunshu worried about the consequences when Zhuyou recovered. Would this foolish dragon trap him in a secret chamber again after regaining his strength?

Moreover… Pei Yunshu felt an unexpected twinge of regret at the thought of actually harming Zhuyou.

With mixed thoughts, Pei Yunshu put away the dagger and left the room. The moon was shining brightly, and anyone would know it was inappropriate to visit at this hour, yet the general had still come.

The general carried two jade flasks of wine and, upon seeing Pei Yunshu, smiled wryly, “I was feeling troubled and unconsciously walked here. After calling out, I regretted it immediately. I must have disturbed Immortal Master’s rest.”

“No trouble,” Pei Yunshu smiled, feeling favorably towards the general. “Why is the general drinking at this late hour?”

The general sighed, sat down at a stone table in the courtyard, and said, “Immortal Master, care for a drink?”

After some contemplation, Pei Yunshu sat beside the general.

He was different from ordinary people, his body devoid of the accumulation of various grains, untainted and pure. His complexion was as fair as jade, shining even brighter than the moonlight on this moonlit night.

The general caught a whiff of the gradually emanating fragrance as Pei Yunshu settled down.

The delicate fragrance lingered, more ethereal and distant than the most precious incense in the imperial palace.

The general handed a jug of wine to Pei Yunshu, looking melancholic. “Immortal Master, is there a way to lift the curse on the emperor?”

Pei Yunshu played with the elegant jug and, in response, asked, “Do you think it’s easy to eliminate the curse on the emperor?”

The general glanced at Pei Yunshu’s hand, took a sip of the wine, and sighed, “For me, it’s undoubtedly difficult. But for Immortal Master, it should be quite easy.”

He flashed a smile, then stood up solemnly and bowed to Pei Yunshu, “For the life-saving grace that day, thank you, Immortal Master.”

Pei Yunshu replied, “You’ve already expressed your gratitude.”

The general shook his head, “It’s not enough.”

His countenance was stern, but when he lowered his head to look at Pei Yunshu, a hint of softness appeared under the moonlight. “Immortal Master, a life-saving favor, it is never enough.”

Pei Yunshu smiled, “It’s enough in my eyes.”

Glancing at the sky, he continued, “General, it’s late, and drinking is harmful to your health. You should rest.”

“Immortal Master…” The general stopped Pei Yunshu, draped in the night’s color, his dark robe blending seamlessly with the night. It made it difficult to discern his expression. “What do you think of me?”

Pei Yunshu responded, “The general is a good general.”

The general asked, “Do you know why I became a general?”

Before Pei Yunshu could answer, the general continued, “Because I seem unafraid of death and unafraid to kill.”

“After reaching one peak, there’s always another waiting for me,” the general said. “I thought it would end here. The world seemed uninteresting to me. Without a peak to climb, desires in my heart had no outlet. I could have anything I wanted, and for me, half a ripple seemed impossible.”

Pei Yunshu didn’t expect the general to speak like this. It was quite different from the impression the general gave him. He also recalled the conspiracies and intrigues in the books he had read. He decided to keep a distance.

“General, if there’s nothing else, I’ll go rest.”

Pei Yunshu’s words clearly conveyed a sense of farewell.

The general smiled, “There’s one last thing I need Immortal Master’s guidance on.”

“I intend to build a small temple dedicated to immortals in the mansion. The entire idol will be crafted from jade. After crafting it, to prevent theft, should I inscribe my name on the jade body of the immortal?”

“It should be acceptable,” Pei Yunshu replied. “I’m not well-versed in this; you should seek advice from others.”

The general expressed his gratitude, picked up the two flasks of wine on the table, and left slowly.

In the majestic General’s Mansion, even if they use finely carved jade to create an immortal statue, it shouldn’t be afraid of theft, right? Moreover, in the past few days, the general hasn’t shown any intention of making offerings to any immortal.

Perplexed, Pei Yunshu turned around and entered the room, intending to continue disciplining his rebellious son.

However, when he approached the bed, he saw that Zhuyou had already fallen asleep, not pretending but genuinely asleep.

Waiting on the side, Pei Yunshu couldn’t sleep. He decided to sit down.

By the time the sunlight shone through the window, the person on the bed still hadn’t awakened.

Patiently waiting to discipline him, little did Pei Yunshu know that he had waited for a full two days.

***

Zhuyou slowly opened his eyes. Before sitting up, a clear voice sounded near his ear, “Rebellious son, finally decided to wake up?”

Zhuyou hesitated for a moment, then looked towards Pei Yunshu with an expressionless face, his eyes somewhat bewildered. “Rebellious son?”

Pei Yunshu snorted and took out the dagger again. “Dare you speak to your father like that again? Dare you do those things to your father again?”

Zhuyou stared at Pei Yunshu without a hint of emotion. He blinked and, after a while, remembered what Pei Yunshu had done in the past month. His expression changed continuously, and the gaze he cast at Pei Yunshu became increasingly complicated.

“I treated you as my wife, but you want to be my father?”

“Wife,” Zhuyou said, “I feel deeply hurt.”

Suddenly, he got out of bed, picked up Pei Yunshu, and pressed him onto the bed. His black eyes stared seriously at Pei Yunshu, pretending to look extremely aggrieved. “You corrupted me.”

Pei Yunshu was caught off guard, being held by Zhuyou and spun in the air. Before he could recover, he heard Zhuyou’s words and burst into laughter. “You were already corrupt yourself, and you say I corrupted you?”

“I miss you so much,” Zhuyou answered irrelevantly, shamelessly pressing his lips against Pei Yunshu’s. “I want to kiss.”

Zhuyou didn’t hesitate at all, forcefully prying open Pei Yunshu’s lips and sucking on his tongue.

Lacking any skill, the force was painful, and for a moment, Pei Yunshu was taken back to the sealed chamber where he had been trapped for forty-nine days. He pushed Zhuyou away, fearing and wanting to move backward.

During those days, Pei Yunshu didn’t know how he had passed the time. It was a haze, and his mind was blank.

“Zhuyou…” If Zhuyou hadn’t recovered, Pei Yunshu would have been dumbfounded. “Don’t act recklessly!”

“You can do it, my wife,” Zhuyou stopped and kissed Pei Yunshu loudly again. Tilting his head, he looked at Pei Yunshu and encouraged, “You can do it, my wife.”

What can I do???

Pei Yunshu was bewildered. Pushing Zhuyou away, he struggled to say, “I haven’t settled the score with you yet!”

Zhuyou was unapologetic and said with a straight face, “I didn’t do that.”

Pei Yunshu, angry and embarrassed, said, “Who else could it be? You are the Dragon Soul, you are Zhuyou, it’s all you. What else do you want to say?”

Pei Yunshu had already seen through him; every time Zhuyou did something wrong, he always acted like this. Clearly, he was not innocent at all. He was even more adept at putting on a show than the characters in novels, yet he managed to act the most innocent every time.

This dragon’s scheming ran deep!
