Dong Du woke up in bed, and the room was empty. He didn’t know where Zhu Di had gone. Moreover, he found himself actually sleeping on the bed, and the small bed in the corner had disappeared.

Could it be that last night was just a dream? Wasn’t Zhu Di supposed to have caught him?

He shook himself awake and rushed to the bathroom. Since last night was a dream, this living cabin is now his territory.

He took out toiletries from his small backpack and cleaned himself up. Dong Du sat at the table, enjoying his breakfast of bread with milk. However, as he ate, he felt something was wrong. Why were there cuffs on the table? Why were there pens in the drawer? Why were there documents on the small shelf?

After two beeps, the door of the living cabin opened from the outside. Zhu Di wordlessly placed a meal tray on the table.

So, it wasn’t a dream last night. Dong Du dragged the tray between his arms and started eating heartily. He seemed to be in a trance, and when he finally regained his senses, he suddenly coughed. “Hey, did you sleep with me in the same bed last night?”

Zhu Di, still looking at the documents, responded coldly, “Dreaming.”

Dreaming? Dong Du bit into the bread, analyzing whether Zhu Di meant he was dreaming or having wishful thinking while dreaming. Judging by his expression, it seemed more like the latter!

“You’re the one who’s dreaming.” Dong Du retorted, “I was sleeping soundly on the floor, and today I woke up on the bed. You definitely carried me up at night, didn’t you?”

Zhu Di didn’t speak. He couldn’t even be bothered to look at Dong Du. However, his pen was still in the drawer, so he had to pick it up while looking at the documents.

Unhappy that Zhu Di always ignored him, Dong Du pulled at the hem of his clothes, trying to get his attention. Unexpectedly, Zhu Di didn’t think he would make a move, and in a moment of carelessness, he tipped over completely. The only thing supporting him was the table. He pushed himself up, trapping Dong Du between his arms. It was a real table slam.

Zhu Di didn’t move or speak. He stared at Dong Du as if he were looking at a dead person.

Dong Du shrunk his neck and whispered, “I didn’t mean to.”

The person who trapped him met his gaze but said nothing. He simply continued looking at the documents and then came over to take the pen.

Not happy that this person always ignored him, Dong Du pulled at the hem of his clothes when he approached. Zhu Di didn’t expect him to act, and in a moment of carelessness, he tipped over completely.

The eyes of the person who trapped him was like a deep pool. Although there was no expression on their face, Dong Du felt that this person probably wanted to bite him to vent frustration.

Because it was his fault, he didn’t dare to make eye contact with Zhu Di. Lowering his head like a guilty puppy, he exposed his fair neck to Zhu Di. In the unseen corners, Zhu Di’s pupils suddenly contracted, and he withdrew his hand, turning away and leaving the room.

This room couldn’t be stayed in any longer. Dong Du took a long breath of relief. He thought Zhu Di was going to scold him just now.

After packing his small belongings, Dong Du tried to open the door of the living cabin. Zhu Di had left in a hurry, and he had actually forgotten to lock the door. Happily carrying his small bag, he sneaked out, heading towards the living cabin he had stayed in before. Maybe he would meet Hanchester there, and being with him was much better than being with Zhu Di.

However, before he could get there, he saw several people in white coats approaching. He quickly hid in a corner, waiting for them to pass before curiously peeking out. Among those people, unexpectedly, was Gneville. It seemed she was working in the research institute.

While Dong Du was exploring the living area, Zhu Di was meeting with Novisane on the bridge. Novisane was eating a peach-flavored lollipop, and without even greeting, Zhu Di glanced behind him and asked, “Didn’t the Little Peach come?”

Ignoring this question, Zhu Di coldly said, “Prime Minister Novisane, thank you for your generosity. The research results of this exploration will be shared with the Empire of Yars.”

“Yars also has researchers.” Novisane rolled his lollipop with his tongue, saying indifferently, “You’ve brought quite a bit of energy, right? You can start landing tomorrow.”

After saying that, he didn’t wait for a response and directly turned and returned to his own ship.

The Yars General, who followed behind Novisane, was covered in cold sweat. After he left, he apologized, “Sorry, our prime minister has a headache-inducing personality.”

“No problem.” Zhu Di nodded slightly. “See you tomorrow.”

After the pleasant meeting between the two parties, they both retracted the gangway.

After retracting the gangway, Tang Wencen quickly caught up with Novisane. “Your Excellency, it seems like that little prince didn’t come. Shall we let them land tomorrow?”

Novisane pinched the lollipop stick that was only left with a hint of fragrance and played with it in his hand. “Let them. He’ll come tomorrow.”

“Uh, how do you know?” Tang Wencen couldn’t help but ask.

Novisane glanced at him and smiled faintly. “I smell it.”

Tang Wencen: “…”

Dong Du searched around but didn’t see anyone familiar. He almost got discovered several times. He hid in a small corner, took out bread from his bag, and ate.

The bread was quite large, but just after a day, Dong Du had almost finished them all. He stared into the dark corner, and when he saw Gneville walking alone while reading documents, feeling bored, he quietly followed her.

Gneville happened to be returning to her room, so Dong Du used his foot to block her door, slipping in first.

“Ah!” Gneville was startled, letting out a low scream and a hiccup. Then, she and Dong Du locked eyes. This made her quickly close the door. “Why are you here, Little Highness? You should be attending school.”

“Why did you hiccup when you got scared?” Dong Du patted Gneville’s shoulder like an old acquaintance, smiling, but Gneville still stared at him seriously. So he scratched his own curly hair, reluctantly facing the question, “I don’t want to attend those weird courses every day. I also want to work at a research institute like you. Are you working there?”

“Yes, I’m Dr. Xu Yiling’s assistant.” Proudly straightening her small waist, Gneville said this, but after her pride, she looked puzzled. “Why don’t you want to attend those courses? I thought you wanted to marry the General.”

“Who said I was willing.” Dong Du winced in pain. He didn’t want to marry a man. He liked soft girls. But now, he seemed to be a gender that couldn’t be with girls. He felt a bit disheartened. “The matter between General and me is all rumors.”

“No way, then why didn’t General clarify?” Gneville put the materials in her hands into a folder. “Did you have a fight with General?”

Dong Du thought about the previous situation. “We did have a quarrel, but it’s not the kind of quarrel you’re thinking of. By the way, you work under Doctor. What are the results of our research?”

“About the last samples?” Gneville took out the data she just mentioned and handed it to Dong Du. “This is not a secret result. I can tell you about it. The samples brought back by the Chief Medical Officer last time include air, human tissues, rocks, and some secretions. That piece of land is really amazing. It’s floating in space but has formed an atmosphere. The air content is exactly the same as ours, but human skin is strange, as if it’s dried by the wind. Also, there are secretions inside, different from simple secretions, a bit like amniotic fluid, but not exactly the same. In short, there are still many secrets about this continent, and we need to study it carefully.”

“You’re really amazing.” Dong Du sighed. Although he looked at the data, he didn’t understand much. No wonder the girls at the Survivor Base said he was a silly little brother. At that time, he didn’t understand why refusing someone else’s cookies was silly. But now he felt a little silly, just a little bit.

“This is not amazing. Dr. Xu is the really amazing one.” Gneville’s eyes sparkled, probably a brain-dead fan of Dr. Xu.

“By the way, did you come with the General? I’m going to Doctor’s place later. Do you want to come with me to play?” Gneville asked.

Dong Du looked helpless. “I can’t go out. Zhu Di said that others are not allowed to see me.”

“Wow, I didn’t expect the General to be this kind of person.” Gneville sounded excited. “General is possessive, he will definitely spoil you in the future.”

“I told you it’s just a rumor.” Dong Du took out a piece of bread and stuffed it into his mouth. “I want to marry a girl.”

“Having a female alpha as a partner is also good. They are much gentler than male alphas.” Gneville showed longing. “I hope I can have a gentle partner in the future, even if it’s a beta, it doesn’t matter.”

The topic in this regard was probably something the two would never agree on. Dong Du ate bread without speaking, and Gneville, looking at her smart ring, exclaimed, “Wow, it’s late. I have to go to the lab. Play by yourself. Lock the door when you leave.”

Dong Du waved to her.

“Oh, by the way, we will land tomorrow. You should go back early tonight.” Gneville blinked at him.

Dong Du, who was originally dazed, immediately perked up at this, “We’re landing tomorrow, so soon?”

“Yes.” Gneville responded and hurriedly said, “I won’t tell you anymore. Doctor is waiting for me in the lab.”

She finished speaking and closed the door, leaving Dong Du alone in the room, extremely excited. When he arrived on land, he could move more freely!

He ate bread while thinking that he must record a video tomorrow and show it to Li Sheng and Raptor when he went back. The door to Gneville’s cabin clicked lightly, and the door was opened from the outside.

Dong Du was immersed in fantasy and didn’t look. “Why did you come back again?”

“Come out.” The person standing at the door didn’t come in.

Dong Du turned his head to look, “…”

Zhu Di was dressed in neat military uniform, holding the doorknob with a cold expression on his face, looking at him indifferently.

“I’ll stay here. The rumors about the two of us are almost becoming a reality. I won’t go.” Dong Du hugged the desk in the room, showing a determined look.

Zhu Di pursed his lips. “I’ve told you, don’t let others see you.”

“What can happen if they see me?” Dong Du broke the jar recklessly.

Zhu Di frowned slightly. “Don’t you know that Novisane is looking for you? Do you plan to give him some clues to let him kidnap you?”

“Why would he kidnap me?” Dong Du was puzzled.

“A mad dog doesn’t need a reason to do things.” Zhu Di ran out of patience, walked a few steps in, and lifted Dong Du onto his shoulder, whispering, “Don’t move.”
