Rebirth in the Apocalypse: The Peach Blossom Debt Chapter 91

After turning into a zombie, Liu Yue still retained remnants of consciousness. Seeing Liao Feifan trying to escape, she reached out toward that direction. The red-eyed zombie suddenly lunged forward and attacked Liu Yue.

Taking advantage of the two zombies tearing at each other, Liao Feifan quietly led his people away through a side passage.

This dry well was clearly very old. The walls below were all rock, and the passages on all sides looked like naturally formed caves, winding and twisting. It was pitch-black, with no end visible at a glance. The distinctive low growls of zombies drifting from afar made one’s heart race. With so many branching paths, it was impossible to tell exactly where the sounds were coming from.

Going back was no longer an option. The entrance they had come through was blocked, and the mouth of the well above was already surrounded by zombies. They could only keep moving forward in search of an exit. Here, they could feel air flowing so there had to be a way out.

Lin Yuze continued to lead the way in front. Qi Yue followed closely behind, asking no questions, purely out of trust.

Yan Bin looked at Qi Yue, who was only a few steps away, and knew he had changed, changed far more than expected. It had only been a single day, not even a full day, just one afternoon, yet it felt as deep and lasting as decades. The feelings had come suddenly and fiercely. Just that one afternoon together had made him keep thinking about this person for years.

Qi Yue kept looking around in all directions. Carelessly, he tripped over a rock and nearly fell, but a large hand caught him.

Grinning wide and revealing white teeth, Qi Yue thanked him.

After letting go, Tang Ke couldn’t help rubbing Qi Yue’s head and reminding him, “Be careful.”

Lin Yuze raised his index finger to his lips, signaling everyone behind him to stay quiet and move lightly, then pointed toward a fork in the path ahead. The sounds of fighting, mixed with zombie roars, were growing clearer.

When the group reached the source of the commotion, they were stunned, hardly believing their eyes. What was going on? Were those two zombies actually tearing into each other?

The zombies locked in combat glanced toward the entrance. One of them, the one whose body had not yet decayed, lunged viciously toward the group, startling everyone into retreat. But before it could take two steps, it was grabbed by the other zombie from behind, and the two resumed tearing into each other.

Qi Yue’s heart pounded violently. That zombie had to be Liu Yue. As if seeking confirmation, he looked toward Yan Bin, after all, the two of them had seen Liu Yue’s last figure together beneath the wall. Yan Bin seemed to read his thoughts and nodded knowingly.

Qi Yue sucked in a sharp breath and locked onto both zombies with his ability. He smacked his lips. Tsk, tsk—this was really heavy stuff. Once the two female zombies realized they couldn’t use their abilities, they resorted to their mouths, taking turns biting into each other, crunching and swallowing each other’s rotten flesh.

Yan Bin almost lost control of his expression, lips pressed tightly together. Only the slightly upturned corner of his mouth revealed that he was holding back laughter. He had thought Qi Yue was going to get revenge, who knew he’d end up watching with such relish. This kid was really something.

Tang Ke darkened his face and tugged Qi Yue’s arm unhappily, silently complaining about being ignored. Lin Yuze and Han Fei showed little reaction, this wasn’t the time to be jealous.

The two grotesque female zombies quickly determined a victor. Liu Yue grabbed the red-eyed zombie from the earlier horde, clamped her hand around its neck, and with the other hand tore chunks of rotting flesh from its body, stuffing them into her mouth. Whatever she couldn’t eat, she tossed onto the ground, filthy liquid splattering everywhere.

Lin Yuze, standing at the front, exchanged a look with the others. Everyone released their abilities at once. Liu Yue threw aside the mangled corpse and fought back. After turning into a zombie, she was exceptionally ferocious and had gained attack abilities she hadn’t possessed as a human.

Soon they realized that zombie-Liu Yue was highly targeted. She kept attacking in Qi Yue’s direction. The men grew anxious, afraid of accidentally hurting Qi Yue, and could only dodge as best they could.

Qi Yue suddenly darted into a narrow side path at the fork, disappearing from everyone’s sight in an instant.

Not daring to look back at the relentlessly pursuing zombie, Qi Yue dodged left and right, irritation building. Even after turning into a zombie, she was still this petty? He hadn’t even been angry at her yet and after everything she’d done to him before, she still had the nerve to be mad.

Crash—the zombie was incredibly fast, leaping directly in front of him. The flashlight had been dropped in the chaos, though fortunately ability-users had good vision. Qi Yue had only intended to draw her away so she wouldn’t attack the others. Now that he was alone, he could enter his space at any time. He wasn’t panicking. Calmly retreating step by step, he backed into a corner, calculating silently.

Five steps.

Four.

Three.

At the instant zombie-Liu Yue reached out to grab him, Qi Yue vanished from her sight. Food that had been right before her eyes disappeared. The zombie flew into a rage, roaring and flailing, searching wildly. Nothing. She turned and sniffed.

Qi Yue had earlier drunk a liquid that masked his scent, so the zombie couldn’t smell him, she could only rely on sight.

Pressed against the wall of his space, Qi Yue took several deep breaths. Once his breathing steadied, he willed himself out, reappearing at the exact spot where he’d vanished.

The zombie hadn’t found him and was just turning to retrace her steps when she sensed an abnormal airflow behind her, her head barely turning halfway—

Crack.

Thump, thump.

A dark bluish head with long hair rolled onto the ground.

Qi Yue slowly withdrew the knife in his hand, shaking the arm holding it hard. It ached badly. This woman’s bones were ridiculously hard, his arm was numb from the impact.

Heavy panting footsteps approached. Han Fei came over with a flashlight, illuminating Qi Yue’s position. Seeing Qi Yue standing there unharmed and the headless zombie in front of him, the heart lodged in Han Fei’s throat finally dropped a little.

Yet he still cursed, “Why the h*ll did you run so fast?”

Qi Yue laughed quietly, softly, looking at the man holding the flashlight. He didn’t even know why he was laughing. Much later, whenever he thought back on this moment, he would be deeply annoyed. He must have been out of his mind.

Han Fei wiped his face hard, didn’t even look, and casually fired an ability elsewhere. The severed head that was still snapping its jaws instantly burned to ash, leaving behind only a large, transparent crystal core.

Han Fei didn’t spare the crystal core a glance. His eyes were fixed only on the person standing there smiling at him. He walked over slowly, checking Qi Yue from head to toe, and only relaxed completely after confirming he wasn’t injured.

“How could you just run off on your own? Don’t you know I’d f*cking worry?”

Qi Yue scratched his head and grinned foolishly. “I’m fine. I’m pretty awesome now.”

Han Fei snorted and flicked Qi Yue’s forehead with a bent finger.

“F*ck, that hurts!” Qi Yue yelped, clutching his head and rubbing it hard then found himself pulled into the embrace of a tall body.

He couldn’t see Han Fei’s expression. Listening to the strong, pounding heartbeat, Qi Yue felt both relaxed and dependent. The embrace was warm, just like he’d once imagined, enough to make him reluctant to leave.

“You’re amazing. So amazing you even stole my heart.”

Han Fei’s sudden words made Qi Yue’s eyes sting, tears nearly falling. Unsure how to express himself, Qi Yue grabbed Han Fei’s collar, forced him to lower his head, and bit down.

Qi Yue’s initiative stunned Han Fei, freezing him in place. Dissatisfied, Qi Yue bit harder on Han Fei’s lower lip until he hissed and opened his mouth, Qi Yue’s tongue immediately slid in, tangling with his.

Qi Yue was the kind who seemed quiet and passive, always reserved. Strictly speaking, this was his first time taking the initiative.

Soon, Han Fei turned the tables. One hand pressed against Qi Yue’s head as he kissed back fiercely, while the other slipped under the hem of Qi Yue’s shirt to touch the skin at his waist.

Feeling Qi Yue squirm and press closer, Han Fei, having held back for far too long, unzipped Qi Yue’s pants and slipped his hand inside, rubbing little Yueyue through the fabric.

“Mmh…”

Little Yueyue trembled and rose. Han Fei lifted his head; saliva he hadn’t had time to swallow spilled from Qi Yue’s lips, forming a long, glistening strand between them.

The flashlight had long since fallen to the ground. In the dim light, Qi Yue’s flushed face and half-lidded eyes looked irresistibly enticing.

Qi Yue had lost all sense of where he was. Dissatisfied that Han Fei’s hand paused, he pressed closer, grinding softly and letting out needy hums.

Han Fei lowered his head and kissed Qi Yue, then unbuttoned his pants.

“Qi Yue… Yueyue…”

Tang Ke’s voice came from afar, along with footsteps.

Qi Yue snapped back to his senses. F*ck, thinking with his dick. Staring at the entrance, he scrambled to push Han Fei away and pull his pants up.

“You—mmh—”

Qi Yue suddenly felt himself enveloped by a warm, wet sensation.

“That’s enough, stop—someone’s coming, mmh—”

Sensing Qi Yue’s distraction, Han Fei sucked hard on the sensitive tip.

Qi Yue’s voice changed pitch. The intense stimulation made little Yueyue swell even more, fluid leaking from the tip as he helplessly thrust into Han Fei’s mouth.

“Yueyue, where are you?”

The voice was closer now, someone could enter at any moment.

Qi Yue begged softly, “Please… let go…”

Han Fei released him, then traced his tongue beneath the sensitive tip, drawing another shudder from Qi Yue.

Qi Yue’s legs went weak; only Han Fei’s support kept him from collapsing.

“I can’t, let go, hurry—”

Knowing Qi Yue was at his limit, Han Fei opened his mouth and took him in again.

Qi Yue couldn’t hold back his moan. His body jerked twice as he climaxed into Han Fei’s mouth, panting heavily.

Satisfied, Han Fei released him, tilted his head to spit onto the ground, then licked Qi Yue clean before standing and kissing him deeply. Their tongues intertwined, sharing the strong, lingering taste between them.

Only after a long while did they separate. Han Fei buried his head against Qi Yue’s shoulder, his still-hard length pressing suggestively against Qi Yue’s lower body. It was hard to endure but this place was far too inappropriate. He could only endure and find another chance.

The footsteps drew nearer. Qi Yue looked toward the entrance, faint flashlight beams visible. His spent body leaned weakly against Han Fei, mouth open as he gasped. Not far away lay Liu Yue’s headless corpse and her head rolled into a corner.

Qi Yue groaned silently. What kind of extreme taste was this? Getting hard and even finishing in a place like this.

Annoyed, he pushed the person off his shoulder, forced himself upright, pulled up his pants, and fastened them.

“Yueyue, you’re okay, thank goodness.”

Tang Ke appeared at the entrance, followed by Lin Yuze, Yan Bin, and the remaining ability-users.

Qi Yue forced a smile. What the h*ll had he just done? Completely losing control at the wrong time.

The air still carried the unmistakable scent of release. Sensing the intimacy between the two, Tang Ke’s face darkened instantly as he glared resentfully at Qi Yue and Han Fei.

Han Fei calmly walked to the corner, bent down to pick up the crystal core, then looked up at Qi Yue with a smile, provocatively meeting Tang Ke’s hostile gaze.
