On that evening, the group settled in an inn in a remote town.

As Zhuyou contemplated things, his eyes occasionally swept over Pei Yunshu. Pei Yunshu was listening to Bai Lige’s speculations about Zhuyou’s demonic core, nodding occasionally to indicate agreement.

The innkeeper enthusiastically prepared the best room and had hot water sent up. When it was time to rest, Bai Lige rubbed Pei Yunshu’s head and teased, “Yunshu, you worry a lot about Zhuyou. Have you ever considered giving Ge a thought? Ge won’t cause trouble and has no flaws.”

Pei Yunshu glanced at Zhuyou, who remained calm on the surface but harbored a fierce anger in his eyes.

Bai Lige noticed it and sighed, retracting his hand. “You two rest well tonight.”

Zhuyou stood up and followed Bai Lige out. Pei Yunshu sat alone on the bed. After a brief moment of contemplation, he heard footsteps outside the door. Turning around, he saw Zhuyou walking in with a steady pace. His face showed no change, and he seemed slightly puzzled when he noticed Pei Yunshu looking at him.

“Baili likes to joke; he didn’t mean anything,” Pei Yunshu awkwardly explained. “I don’t have that intention towards him either.”

Zhuyou tilted his head, asking, “What intention?”

Pei Yunshu hesitated for a moment but then spoke frankly, “He likes me, and I like him, but it’s just a friendly liking. In the realm of romantic feelings, Baili could be my ancestor.”

Zhuyou felt a bit uneasy. He approached, whispered, “How old are you?”

Pei Yunshu thought for a while and slowly said, “I don’t remember, but I’m definitely not a teenager or someone in their twenties.”

Zhuyou’s expression turned gloomy. He looked at Pei Yunshu several times, frowned, and sat heavily at the table, pondering how old he was this year. He couldn’t remember, but it was definitely over five hundred years.

He could be Pei Yunshu’s ancestor.

Unaware of Zhuyou’s thoughts, Pei Yunshu walked to the screen, using the hot water provided by the waiter to freshen up. Just as he heard someone coming upstairs, a hearty voice sounded.

“This place of yours is really shabby,” the cheerful voice, though not pleasant, had a charm that made it hard to dislike. “Hey, is there really no better room? I can pay more, and if I talk to them nicely, maybe they’ll give me a better one.”

“Young Master Bian, spending money doesn’t mean you should do it like this. There are many good inns outside. Why insist on causing trouble here?”

Pei Yunshu found the voice increasingly familiar. He walked out of the screen, opened the door, and peered out. He saw someone walking towards him and exclaimed, “Bian Rong?”

Bian Rong, who was chatting with someone, heard Pei Yunshu’s voice and walked towards him with joy. “Pei Yunshu, I actually ran into you here.”

Pei Yunshu walked out, smiling. “What a coincidence.”

Bian Rong, dressed in purple, looked exceptionally domineering. Seeing an acquaintance, he became more talkative, and after exchanging pleasantries, they sat down in the small courtyard of the inn and chatted.

“I originally planned to find you and talk after the day you defeated Wu Jiu,” Bian Rong chuckled. “That day, he drew both of us so ugly in his album, such petty behavior. He must wish there were no more handsome men in the world than him.”

Thinking of those words, Pei Yunshu had nothing to say. “I’ve never seen such painting before.”

They exchanged a glance, both feeling a sense of reluctance to recall those memories.

“But I didn’t expect you to disappear afterward,” Bian Rong continued. “When I heard the news that you were missing, I led people from Xuan Yi Sect to find you. Wu Jiu even searched for you for a long time. In the second competition, he had a black circle under his eyes, and that match ended in a tie.”

Pei Yunshu opened his mouth, and Bian Rong seemed to know what he wanted to say. He raised a finger to his lips and raised his eyebrows arrogantly, “Don’t say anything polite to me. Looking for you is our business, no need to worry.”

Pei Yunshu smiled, “Okay.”

Bian Rong patted him on the back, “That’s more like it.”

Upstairs at the window, Zhuyou stood beside it, looking down at the two of them.

His expression was unreadable, but the hand placed on Pei Yunshu’s back made Zhuyou’s heart ache. He sat on the bed, feeling the anger that couldn’t be vented and caused the cup in the room to crack.

The words Bai Lige said earlier didn’t make him so angry, but now, he felt extremely uncomfortable.

When Pei Yunshu came up, Zhuyou was still standing by the window. Pei Yunshu asked, “What’s wrong?”

His voice still carried a smile, as if he had just had a pleasant conversation with the male cultivator.

Zhuyou remained silent, turned his head to look at him, unable to vent his anger. He sat at the edge of the bed, feeling a sour pain in his heart.

He had learned a lesson from Yuncheng, Pei Yunshu’s Second Senior Brother: never lay hands on Pei Yunshu’s friends.

He wanted to chop off the hands of the person who touched Pei Yunshu, cutting wherever the person touched Pei Yunshu. However, he could only suppress his anger for now.

A young man who was not as handsome as him, only met a few times, yet became so intimate with Pei Yunshu.

The first time he met Pei Yunshu, regardless of how many times they met afterward, Pei Yunshu always looked at him with fear in his eyes.

Pei Yunshu was puzzled by Zhuyou’s behavior. He looked over and, after staring for a while, was then told to go wash up by Zhuyou. While Pei Yunshu was washing up, Zhuyou flew out of the window and caught a few locusts.

After Pei Yunshu walked out of the screen with a damp face, he saw Zhuyou glaring at the few locusts on the table with a gloomy expression.

The locusts were scared motionless, their long tails trembling. When Pei Yunshu walked over and took a look, he laughed, “Want to play with locusts?”

Zhuyou motioned for him to sit down, then reached out and placed two locusts together, saying, “This is a married couple.”

Pei Yunshu, while drying his hair, paused, looking at Zhuyou strangely. He followed Zhuyou to look at the locusts on the table.

Zhuyou glanced at the locust couple, and the two locusts timidly huddled together. Seeing them displaying a couple-like appearance, Zhuyou nodded in satisfaction. He then extended his hand, picked one locust from the couple, and placed it in the middle.

“This is the wife,” Zhuyou said.

Pei Yunshu: “…”

With wide-open eyes, he tried hard to show an interested expression.

Zhuyou surrounded the “wife” locust with the other locusts, then raised his eyes, looking at Pei Yunshu solemnly. “Except for her husband, the other locusts have improper thoughts about the wife. When they approach her, they have ill intentions.”

As he spoke, he pushed one of the locusts in the circle. That locust shivered and jumped towards the middle, landing on the back of the “wife” in a rather indecent posture.

Zhuyou narrowed his eyes, secretly curled his lips, and then looked at Pei Yunshu, “So, this locust must know that it’s only safe by her husband’s side. Only he will treat her well; others meeting her will bully her.”

Pei Yunshu blinked slowly, “Mmm.”

Zhuyou waved his hand, sending these little bugs out of the window. He thought Pei Yunshu had understood his meaning. Feeling relaxed both mentally and physically, a sense of pleasure surged beneath him.

Zhuyou loosened his clothes and pointed, “Look.”

Pei Yunshu was drinking water, casually following his finger, and sprayed water out in a single gulp.

The water didn’t splash on Zhuyou. He remained calm, took off his outer garment, revealing a considerable bulge there, and pointed, “See.”

Pei Yunshu, intending to endure and ignore him, couldn’t resist anymore. “I have that too. What are you showing off?”

Zhuyou walked over, abruptly bent down, picked him up, and Pei Yunshu let out a small cry. Subconsciously, he raised his hand and wrapped it around Zhuyou’s neck. “Zhuyou, what are you doing!”

Zhuyou placed him on the bed, removed his outer garment, and spread his legs, saying, “Look at yours.”

Blushing, Pei Yunshu wanted to close his legs, but Zhuyou’s strength was great, holding his legs firmly. Zhuyou looked at that part and smiled, “Small.”

With a bang, Pei Yunshu’s face seemed to emit smoke from being angry. He glared at Zhuyou, “I don’t have the wild and untamed behavior like yours, always in heat like a wild beast. I’m the normal one!”

Zhuyou stared at the rising part, and Pei Yunshu’s face turned bluish again. He forcefully pinched his thigh.

“Hiss…” No movement below, but tears were forced out.

Pei Yunshu had fair skin all over his body, even in places he had never used before, which looked tender and clean. Despite mixing with Zhuyou several times, it remained delicate.

Taking advantage of Pei Yunshu’s distraction, Zhuyou quickly pulled down his pants. His actions were too fast, and Pei Yunshu felt a cool sensation on his legs. His fair skin was already exposed.

He kicked Zhuyou and rolled onto the bed, covering himself with the blanket.

Zhuyou reached into the blanket, grabbed his ankle, and pulled him to the edge of the bed. “Can the blanket protect you?”

Standing straight, he took off his clothes, and the vigorous thing nearly hit Pei Yunshu’s face.

Zhuyou looked down at him, a more terrifying expression in his eyes than below. “The blanket can’t protect you. Only a husband can protect you.”

Outside, it started drizzling in the middle of the night. Raindrops fell between the leaves, masking the sobbing cries. Pei Yunshu, in a miserable state with tears all over his face, clutched the silk pillow and kept shrinking inside, saying, “Don’t want… don’t want…”

Zhuyou held his waist, and the rainstorm, accompanied by the raging wind, caused the waves on the water surface to undulate. Several times, the boat almost overturned.

Crying until his eyelids swelled, and his mouth became swollen, the voice became hoarse but still pleasant. Zhuyou was half distressed and half excited.

He nailed Pei Yunshu down, moving loudly, louder than the sound of the rain. His heart harbored the vinegar of the whole night, and he used the opportunity to vent, expressing it all on Pei Yunshu’s body, sweeter than honey.

Pei Yunshu was teased by his shameless words the entire night, his entire body exuding a pinkish hue. The firmness inside him was delicate and clean, despite the rough actions of Zhuyou. Holding him down, Zhuyou asked him who was bigger.

With a tearful and joyous tone, Pei Yunshu replied, “Yours, yours…”

“What of mine?” Zhuyou stopped.

Feeling the itchiness, lips bitten till they were sore, Pei Yunshu, embarrassed to the extreme, said, “What do you think it is?”

Zhuyou tormented him, “So, between my two hands, which one is better?”

“I don’t know…” The pitiful man had a hazy look in his eyes, and the fragrance filled the entire bed canopy, staining his fingers with an intoxicating scent. “I don’t know.”

Zhuyou spent the whole night making him realize which one was more powerful.

Hidden desires and arrogance, which were well concealed before, were now revealed to Pei Yunshu. Tonight, he understood that people have countless facets, and so do demons. Zhuyou, who usually hid his true nature well, couldn’t restrain himself tonight and became reckless and passionate.

He never changed; his desires and greed for Pei Yunshu were deeply rooted. Because Pei Yunshu didn’t like it, Zhuyou pretended to be someone else. But in the end, Zhuyou was still Zhuyou, a fierce beast heated by the passion coursing through his veins.

Pei Yunshu felt like he was placed on fire, or rather, on the tip of Zhuyou’s heart.
